I really like the screenshots from that french webpage.
It just gets my attention back to PES. Hopefully the gameplay will be great too and not just the game is looking good !

Wow that review is really negative, says that the game lost all its fun aspect now since the general decrease in pace.

IF that is their only major gripe then I am delighted, PES 2009 was far to fast paced which made the game feel arcadey, a decrease in pace was badly needed and hopefully signs that the game is more of a simulation.

Things look promising, look forward to the videos later this week.

But were PES 08 and 09 more funny ? The pace in both was too fast.

I really don't know what to think about it right now...

btw fifa got excellent response times this year.. at least thats what ppl who played it say..Well, the preview from JVN sounds a bit pessimistic ..maybe its time to try fifa..:THINK: ?

In this pic finally new animations (at least look like, cos not moving ofcourse)Number 6 and 9 from brazil,
and Number 11 from germany really have different running and standing styles...:)

Ce qui m'attriste un peu c'est qu'ils n'ont pas trouvé de points positifs concernant le gameplay mais pour le reste.Je suis en train de voir sur jeuxvideo.com

Agreed. You can play slow if you wish, but the whole speedy player issue can be easily exploited. Not everyone likes to play proper football.

Hopefully with 2010 they will now have no choice but to play the beautiful game. As opposed to making Usain Bolt look like a one-legged man.

Konami really are muppets, why leave 360 movement out of the Microsoft version of PES2010? Instantly means that 360 owners will think twice about buying the game and don't believe the BS that it is because of the technical limitations of 360 hardware.

Another review here and they basically talk about the things we all know about (the cards system, the graphical improvement) and then towards the end they focus on animations and here is the interesting paragraph
"C'est surtout tout le bloc équipe qui avance et recule différemment, de sorte à évoluer de manière moins rigide et plus imprévisible. Cependant, ce mécanisme ne révolutionne pas vraiment le gameplay de PES qui, s'il tend à s'équilibrer de plus en plus, voit encore quelques démons le hanter assidûment. Dans cette version en tout cas, la gestion des contacts s'est avérée calamiteuse, ne permettant par exemple jamais de jouer de la puissance des gros gabarits pour prendre le dessus sur des joueurs de poche. L'animation souffrait elle aussi d'un manque de continuité entre les différents mouvements d'un même joueur, semblant par moment robotisé et très lourd sur ses appuis"

They didn't mention anything regarding the 360°, maybe they would have been more positive overall if they'd included it as it really seemed like a dull review of the game

This could be a deal-breaker for me. As much as I love PES I'm not going to be treated like a second class citizen for being an Xbox 360 owner, and I'm not buying a PS3 especially for PES. EA can implement 360 degree control on both consoles so I don't believe this bullshit from Konami.

If there is no 360 on the xbox version then surely I won't bother buying the game.I just don't see how they could justify it

Finally, after 3 years, thomas' proficy that the ps3 version will be 3 times better has come to pass. It will indeed have 3x as many angles as the 360 version. :D

WENB is down.........:(

I'd love to hear and explanation from them, they've just alienated part of their user base. No doubt MS aren't happy about this.
