Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

The PS3 version has 360 degree control both on the analog stick and the d-pad while the 360 and PC is only on the analog stick.

Bur that does'nt mean that in PC we could only use analog, right? I mean we can use ketboard as usual, am I right?

I'd imagine they'd have the finances now to upgrade wenb's website so that it can cope with more than 135 people on their website at any given time.

I'm sure they got about 2/3 times more people on their main page than this forum right now mate, which caused it to crash. They should defo have some sort of backup system in place by now

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Sounds brilliant....

360 degree movement - fantastic news and even though we have known about it for the past few weeks if we thought about it a couple of months ago it would have sounded impossible.

Manual Goalkeeper controls - also great news. more control of the goalkeepers looks to be interesting.

All new animations - finally is all I can say. This along with 360 degree movement are one of the most requested features. Hopefully the game feels more free, fluid and organic now.

Finer-tuned close control - Quite important especially in areas such as trapping, close dribbling etc. You can already see the benefits of such a system in FIFA 09.

Manual ball request - Another nice addition, even better since its accessible in all game modes.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

They still need to talk about Become A Legend in more depth. I was hoping that for PES 2010 you can now play as a defender.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Ehm, what kind of 360 degree movement are we talking about here? I doubt you can run at 30 degree with the d-pad (or is the ps3 d-pad pressure sensitive so that you press to the side and only a light touch on up?). Do they mean 360 degree as in the player slowly turning to 45 degrees with the d-pad? If so it's shit and I hope the analog sticks are true 360 degree like FIFA have.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

^ I think it was the Pesfan preview that mentioned that it hasn't been given much of a look in.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

If I get PES 2010 on the PS3 I will be playing it only on the analog stick to get the best possible benefit of the new 360 degree movement. I can not see it working as well on the d-pad. Its fine for me since I have been playing FIFA 09 for the last year on the PS3 analog stick so im already used to it.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

ENG version of that press release found on the other site:

360-degree control will be available on both the PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD versions of the game via the analogue sticks on the respective controllers. The system will allow players to spread the ball with ease, opening up new attacking and defensive possibilities. PLAYSTATION 3 owners will also benefit when using the Dual Shock’s D-Pad, but Xbox 360 and Win D-Pads are limited to eight-directional control due to technical limitations of the hardware.

Yep and this points to 360 degrees PASSING too, not alone moving...

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Okay, all sounds sort of promising.

For me PES had to be better than FIFA on the pitch to take the 'title' this year, it can't just be as good. FIFA has the whole product done much better, so if its more or less the same in gameplay, I'll probably stick with FIFA again.

That said, as with all things in life, the whole grass-is-greener feeling is back for me with FIFA. How many of you actually play both each year?

I won't I'll probably buy which ever comes out first and rent or try the other...

Player individuality had better be spot on if that's the case, I don't want free passing like the other game where everyone passes the same.

.

I red only about 360 degree controll, not movement , and this is big difference, dont expect free movement, in traailer and those videos u can clearly see that theres only 8 movement
