Just browsing through another site, and found these posts from a guy whom I personally 99.99% agree with everything he says. Although I still dont agree the keepers are 'bad'.
So I have just copied it and pasted it over .......
"Thinking about it and looking at the mo-cap sessions done in barcelona you can see on the laptops used at the session thats its euphoria so it looks like pes2010 will be using the euphoria engine and that the 50% build was just a smoke screen using pes09s engine to disguise and play down anticipation for pes2010 so konami can steal eas thunder near launch.
if so it will be great news for us the fans as all the rumour of the last couple of years in realtion to konami building a new game will be true, plus they will easily be able to map over alot of the work already done in pes08-09 so the game will feel very complete.
this is why jo murphys pr statement of barcelona reads mixed emotions in barcelona its criptic and a hidden statement for the fans.
It has to happen konami need to lay a more complex template down for the next ten years ahead not just recycling the ps2 versions with better graphics which is commercial suicide and will not be enough for the majority of pes fans that want a newer fresher experience that still remains true to the pes formula but feels and plays more like a next generation product.
think about it for all the rose tinted nostalgia of pes5 and 6 will this really be enough,no pes2010 has to be so much more and be a revolutionary step forward not a throw back to the uneccesssary control complexity of pes of old like having the right trick stick and right thumbstick manual passing which only compensated for the lack of flexibility in d-pad control and its limitations. This is where fifa09 gets it wrong it thinks buy having a overly complex control system its more simulated.
Real footballers use one or both feet to move pass and shoot as well as do tricks so this should be intergrated and controlled via the primary means of control the left thumbstick and relevant buttons so control is logical and not clumbersome and overly illogical. This is why despite many d-pad users not liking it pes2010 has to go full analog on the left thumbstick and have manual passing mapped to the left thumbstick and x,o,triangle buttons and have the tricks activated by the use of the left thumbstick and r2 trigger not automatic like pes09 which just makes more sense.
Pes09 is still a great game that is superior to fifa09 despite its auto tackling, poor collision detection and limited 8-axis control.
After 9 months of playing pes09 i personally think its the best pes in the series as its more measued and realistic you just have to make the transition from the more forgiving ps2 versions that to be fare where a little on the arcadie side and a bit unrealistic despite having pretty descent gameplay.
Better annimation and more refinement plus more stable ai would certainly make PES2010 a better game then PES09 but i think konami have got something bigger and better and a step up from what we have had for the last ten years...like i have said previously pes is one of the few games today in 3d that uses 8-axis movement and this backwards 2d restrictive system has to be put to bed.
P.S Before people reply to my comment by saying that pes09 has unrealistic 90 degree turns with no loss of pace and the ability to skin a whole team with one player i know this its just the finer details in pes09 like the better ball physics and the flight of the ball and the way you can defend better and retain possession setting up camp in the opposition half just ploughing on the pressure or the better improved long pass and the ability to build more and have more of a end product from your build up play or open your body up on shots.Things like the poor goalkeeping and over egged momentum shift are minor flaws that dont detract to much from what is fundamentally a fairly solid game.
This might upset some people but i feel pes5 and 6 are overated and full of flaws that people gloss over and easily forget."
