In this case,too unless they left the referee AI as last thing to code, i don't think we will see some improvements. Pes 2019 will probably have the same number of fouls as Pes 2018. Don't expect a miracle.

Oh I'm not, it's more idle hope than anything else. Referee definitely won't be the last to code as it has a massive impact on game flow, cadence, rhythm whatever you wanna call it. Sigh.. I realize I'm in the vast minority though.

Define minority. If you mean compared with the online community that clearly dictates where the game goes, yes you are.

Here on Evoweb we more or less all would want fouls and keepers coming out from their goal post. But it seems they are making other choices. As Ameppe, I'm sure that removing keepers plausible behaviour is a precise choice, most probably to do with players online having to precisely dictate whatever their keepers needs to come out or not, because God forbid they just program it differently for each mode :D.

Sorry if I sound bitter. I'm trying to not pre-determine my judgement, but the game seems already filled with deal-breaking problems. Well, just a few days now anyway.

guys do have the knowledge and vision to spot flaws, over the years (i've found) with Konami you have to earn their trust once you earn their trust these are the events where you can talk.

This video is a fine example of PA2 and deep defensive line on as a advanced tactic - and deep defensive line does mean defenders sit very deep.

Advanced tactics is very strong and the guy me playing as flemengo had it on, to test it and PESEP and I tested PA2 in this video ...that's why I said PA2 is like PES2018's PA1

Yeah,referees being too lenient and gks not rushing out on 1vs1s are definitely choices and not bugs.
 
I don't think these events do anything to move the game forward and fix issues many of us have been complaining about. These events are for marketing aren't they. The game is built. Konami isn't going to change anything now. Any constructive criticism would only really benefit next years game. However, I doubt Konami is copiously taking notes at these events and will have forgotten all criticism by then anyway. The cycle continues...
 
keeper need to be a separate thing! For years PES treat em like field player with gloves! We had that talk over and over again. Valid points were made. Keepers still the same; ok, better but surely not there. Sad.
Next Thursday I have plenty of time to check on the demo. Looking forward to it big time.

Pesep said that he scored that goal because you were using All Out Defence and Conservative, meaning defenders don't press attackers but rather sit deep. I think it's a bit too rigid though, it makes defenders too passive. Another thing they should tweak.
 
About stats, why do all field players have 40 goalkeeping stats? I know it's hard to judge but at least guys who are known to be above 40 should be, like Carvajal, Luis Suarez and others.

My biggest fear is Playing the Demo and enjoying it, playing retail and enjoying it then getting people who like super responsive super arcadey gameplay complaining about the speed of the game and accuracy of passes, I fear after that Konami will probably patch the game to keep the Casuals happy, hope it never happens but i'm always in fear of that.

Damn if you want a game with super hyper realistic gameplay, please produce your own game. Come on, we are not the only people in this fuckin world and if konami only hear what we want then good night. This is a nice place to talk about a game, but to think they produce the game only for us is stupid. 75% of the players dont like right position, dont like 8 fouls per game. It had to be fun and thats it! And for me we get a game with balance between fun and realism.

Why can't we have 2 modes like racing games?

Man this game needs fouls and referee to be strict with foul calls, and this is a valid reason to make us analyse the game, add to that the basic shooting stuff i mentioned before

another argument for sliders...too many people want different things..some one end to end non stop football (like yourself with minimal fouls) some want a more realistic feel (the odd penalty here are there for example) I want more fouls and if we aren't going to get them again I'd like Konami to aknowlege it and say why instead of either denying it's an issue pes 16/17 then saying a patch has fixed it pes 18..that bugs me the most
 
This made lol, because recently I watched a Lelly youtube vid were he was playing an entire online season with a team of goalies lol. Watch it if you truly wanna be depressed at the state of todays Pes lol.

Worst player every game hands down was his goalie... playing in goal :LOL:

He did get beat a lot, but mostly down to having no speed in his team. Albeit he still was pulling of perfect 1-2's. backheels galore, and Courtois up front scoring hattricks lol.
 
I said it in a post last weeks. Fouls are there man, in a very decent and good way in tge last patch of 2018. Thats not the reason for the negative vibe here. Its the human nature.negative criticism and discuss about that give you a better feeling. When we dont have anything to criticism, we have nothing to talk guys, but its to much criticism up in here

Hohoho slow down man. Im the one who loves and want it so much to get a game with slower gameplay, much more breaks through fouls and build up play like it is in real life. But thats not real life, not real life football. Thats a game which had to please all tge people who dont carr about that slo up build up and breaks for fouls and so on..

Im with you guys, i only want to say we are not alone.

Doesn't sound bitter at all. I get your frame of mind. I was referring to the "grand scheme of things" when I mentioned being in the minority btw. I understand we here at evoweb are mostly on the same page when it comes to what defines pes or a good football game for that matter. Thankfully. At least it's a place to vent as the immediate future for football gaming is now set in stone. Online first and I suspect after some years now, online only.
 
I get slightly annoyed when the little things that were overlooked in previous games fail to get addressed. For example the shadows the goal posts cast during a sunny match are barely visible yet again. I understand that their are more pressing issues but small details like that make a big difference to me.

If Konami decide to release footage of their upcoming game, for promotion purposes, it is going to be analysed. Especially so, when it concerns essential aspects of a football game, i.e goalkeepers and player ai/positioning. As long as people are respectful, it is all part of the process really. Anyway, in a few days time, we can all analyse and over-analyse till our hearts content. I am expecting evoweb to be a very busy place come Wed/Thurs. Hopefully, it will be more positive than negative!
 
The sad/funny thing is that if the game had 50 fouls a game and we were complaining about it being too many, We’d still be criticised and be made to look like the overly negative bunch

and the same guys praising the game now would be praising Konami for introducing a physical element to the game (50 fouls) , While producing skewed stats from games where 5 red cards were issued to back up their stance.

This is why everyone should get the chance to have an opinion without trying to influence others,They’ve made up their mind already. So People who care about the overly negative or positive atmosphere of random forums have their own agenda which is never a good thing.

By the way some guys on here are Konami employees and should be given the full chance do their PR thing before release.

Then don't read the negative statement. Read the positive statement and decide for yourself.:)

not sure why my reply to rfc1ge's post re the kitchen to bring a little humour to the forum got censored/removed.

@rfc1ge .... i won't rewrite it again but it ended : PES 2019 = an old dishwasher that will come with dirty dishes and a D efficency rating.

@admins.... why so serious?
