Keepers routed to their goal line.

I'm just spit balling here, but maybe if Konami didn't make the perfect lob shot soooo damn easy to do every time...
Same goes for every other shot tbh.
With regards the PA2 streamers, I know a few of them still use the D-pad. (Probably a few ppl in here still use it too).
Even if they went from PA1 D-pad to PA50 analogue, they'd still feel it was manual
I think I remember someone say that Kei Matsuda used the D-pad at an E3/Gamescom event a few years ago. Says a lot really.
As long as Konami keep the D-pad controls available (online), attempt to appease every skill level and age group, there will never be a balance found imo.
Someone a few pages back mentioned the defenders strength stats and their poor shielding of the ball. This scenario (defenders on the ball) really needs to be looked at.
As it is, the attackers have a massive advantage when closing down a defender. Due to the games AUTO tackling (which doesn't take into account the attackers weak tackling stats... #statsmatter), versus the slower movement and dribbling of defenders it creates a bit of a mess at the back.
Tired of attackers making perfect tackles with every attempt, or easily pushing defenders off the ball when they get there 1st defending through balls.
If the auto tackling is here to stay, it must incorporate strength and tackling stats. Not just for defence, how many times have you seen a string of 3 auto tackles happen back to back to back in midfield? You can't do anything but watch the animations play out. Doesn't matter who is interacting with who.
