yes mate it the same for through balls as well where I wanted the pass to go it went, improved upon from PES2018.

The advanced tactic seemed to hold your team based upon what your going with and on this occasion you will see the odd out of position (gaps that you could exploit) but you will see the players make an attempt to get back to their position and respond.

so the rule for advance tactics is use them sparingly and get the right combination

Do you think that it would be a good idea if somebody explained how the different tactical combos impact on your team at some point in the future. I loved those big Piggyback pes guides from years ago.

yesterday I fired up pes 2017 on my ps4 and played few matches with chilean teams just for changing. Oh boy, the game was a lot slower and more natural in movement, realistic animations... I just hope pes 2019 give us that feeling with top teams, it will be joy to play :) Demo can`t come soon enough!!!

That right there mate - you've just described PES2019

Keepers routed to their goal line. :BORED:
I'm just spit balling here, but maybe if Konami didn't make the perfect lob shot soooo damn easy to do every time...
Same goes for every other shot tbh.

With regards the PA2 streamers, I know a few of them still use the D-pad. (Probably a few ppl in here still use it too).
Even if they went from PA1 D-pad to PA50 analogue, they'd still feel it was manual
I think I remember someone say that Kei Matsuda used the D-pad at an E3/Gamescom event a few years ago. Says a lot really.
As long as Konami keep the D-pad controls available (online), attempt to appease every skill level and age group, there will never be a balance found imo.

Someone a few pages back mentioned the defenders strength stats and their poor shielding of the ball. This scenario (defenders on the ball) really needs to be looked at.
As it is, the attackers have a massive advantage when closing down a defender. Due to the games AUTO tackling (which doesn't take into account the attackers weak tackling stats... #statsmatter), versus the slower movement and dribbling of defenders it creates a bit of a mess at the back.
Tired of attackers making perfect tackles with every attempt, or easily pushing defenders off the ball when they get there 1st defending through balls.

If the auto tackling is here to stay, it must incorporate strength and tackling stats. Not just for defence, how many times have you seen a string of 3 auto tackles happen back to back to back in midfield? You can't do anything but watch the animations play out. Doesn't matter who is interacting with who.

I dont know in wich world Im living in

I dont want to sound arrogant, but I honestly believe the guys that are invinted dont have knowledge and vision enough to spot the big flaws on this game and give the right feedback

Some errors are so blatant to me that it makes me wonder if Im just one those incovinient guys that are so hard to be pleased and nothing is good enough for them, but come on now, seriously, what sense of enjoyment and achivement you can get from scoring a goal like that. Just take a look:

Pause at 4:26 and look at the goal. The attacker recieves the ball inside the big are freely, zero sense of danger and urgeness from the defender who stands far behind the attacker the whole fucking time, such an easy goal any 5 yo kid could score. The attacker could have a seat and open a beer inside the box and still manage to take the ball, turn and shoot.

What you highlighted is a good example of why feedback from these things is next to useless. They actually took that goal as a positive and couldn't see anything wrong with it. It's kind of fascinating to see people deluding themselves in real time, it gives a window into why the reports from playtesters never comes close to matching reality.

Another year of bad defenders.:SHOCK:This is even worse than pes2018.:CONF:
Might be a new advanced defensive tactic.:LMAO:

Maybe they are playing on some low level difficulty? I mean this looks bad even for 2018 (atrocious) positioning standards.

Same as last years edit mode, I reckon. Never know though. Hope springs eternal.

I think, or at least hope the 3 editable leagues PLA, PAS, PEU, can now be played and edited to be with 12, 10 etc teams with the addition of new rules and league formats from scotland, belgium, denmark leagues which pes 19 got licenced in.
But that would pretty much be the only change if it's indeed in...

exaclty my thought
He reacts like he scored a decent and well deserved goal

Huge Facepalm was my reaction...

This also must be said, Being on the frontline this year and able to silently put out a lot of my own gameplay before release for everyone that waits to be analysed is also a shitfest.

We 100% Put everything on Superstar difficulty and Default 0 gamespeed and people are literally claiming in my name that Video A is nog on 0 gamespeed it MUST be altered telling me this as a fact. Some claim on some video's I don't play on Superstar CPU without a doubt while it is indeed on Superstar. And someone else tells me everything is way to fast and way faster. But some video's are different and other video's and I quote ''Must have been altered by a gamespeed modifier''

Its a boomerang if you ask me and one of the negative sides of all this video analysing. Its a goddamn party with people literally claiming stuff that is not there to me the creator of the vids. Goes to far in that aspect.

The guys who are there play PES day in day out week in week out offline and online ..... I do.

guys do have the knowledge and vision to spot flaws, over the years (i've found) with Konami you have to earn their trust once you earn their trust these are the events where you can talk.

This video is a fine example of PA2 and deep defensive line on as a advanced tactic - and deep defensive line does mean defenders sit very deep.

Advanced tactics is very strong and the guy me playing as flemengo had it on, to test it and PESEP and I tested PA2 in this video ...that's why I said PA2 is like PES2018's PA1

Something that has disappeared to the background seemingly - what's the news on the fouls front? Same as pes18 ie non-existent? The rest of the game is shaping up very nicely I must say .

I played player v player throughout the day but some of the lads who got on to play against the AI reported various ratios of fouls between the AI at various matches and because were effectively playing exhibition matches the AI is not so hard compared to playing a full master league.

more fouls needed was feed back on the day, hence why I spoke about little tweaks in the run up to full release.

De ja vu time :D

Can someone report a bug please?

Until this is fixed I don't want it

Not a bug in my opinion, it's lack of AI routine. They didn't code the game so that keepers come out to face the attackers. Not something that will be fixed with a patch i think.

About the positioning issues, it's demo time in 3 days, we will see if that one is just an extreme case or if defense is usually so bad.

Fair enough. I don't regard the absence of fouls as a little tweak though, I see it as a "huge fucking problem" - not being sarcastic, genuinely how I feel regarding the issue. Without fouls it can never be true PES in my opinion. I managed on pes 17 but on pes 18 it really became a glaring issue. Fingers crossed but I'm not delusional as it's a design choice to omit them. I take it there are no sliders or options to select a ref or ref strictness?
