Not seeing any misplaced passes, nor fouls... But, as I've said a million times, it's not a "glitch", it's a design decision, so it's not something they're going to look at this year.

Also, it's Barcelona, who aren't going to misplace a lot - but, damn.

Need a video of West Ham v Bolton or something...

well the stats work out that Liverpool had 74% pass accuracy (which is lower than what they av last season) and Barce around 87%, which is what they averaged last season, so seems ok there?

from what ive seen weak foot shots and passes are overpowered. seen a luis suarez left footed goal from outside the box that ended up in the bottom corner (e3 stream), other of his left footed attempts are on target, messi scoring with his right etc

also diacritics are still not on jersey names. im a details whore so this is disappointing

but if I didn't have the option to import user created kits and other content what would the point even be? Hurray, we got Barcelona and Coutinho, now go play a game against Blue Burgundy?

Yeah but we do have the option to import user created kits and other content! So ANY licenses they can get (specially stadium ones) are going to be very well received!

I don't understand your... "complain"?

So what? Its just a game. But hey guys its your time, up to you how you spend it. I rather have a beer with friends or take a nap instead of raging over a company's current pr technique.

But i remember all the hate aswell when Adam never tweeted about licenses before the official press release. So here we have the new guy who has time to go on social media to interract with the costumers and of course wont tell anything because its not official ...and same reaction.

But do you know he just want you hooked? And hes a topic since hes there so success.

I don't like it when people take this superiority posture, like "ohh it's just a game kid", while smoking a cigar and drinking whiskey and reading Sunday's newspaper. I don't think anybody's mistaking Pro Evolution Soccer with real life football, it is clear to all of us that it is a game.
But since Adam introduced the PES community to the new Brand Manager by announcing it on Twitter (linking us to his profile too) that tells us he isn't using his Twitter just for personal matters. In fact, little-to-nothing is personal in there. So of course everybody's going to jump to conclusions and assume he's talking about PES when he's posting "mysterious" football related images.
And I'm sure most of us have been "the new guy" at some job at some point, and I'm sure we made mistakes, but we probably had someone to come and say "hey don't do it like that, do it this way" which is exactly what Adam (or someone else from Konami) should be telling him. I'm sure we've all had a new guy come to our work, and we've had to help him during the first months, right?.

We all know how sensitive the license topic is among the PES community (personally I don't really care much for licenses because I play the game on PC, so mostly anything can be done), so if you start playing with people's moods I think it's not right and I think he should be either schooled or replaced as soon as PES 2019 is released.

He might be the nicest guy ever, I don't know him and I have nothing against him. I just think he is not doing his job right. And where I'm from, when you're not doing your job right (in this case, misleading hysterical fans that will inevitably get angry at the company), you can talk about it with your boss, they can be understanding, and you'll get a second and even a third or a fourth chance. But at some point, if you persist on doing it wrong... you get fired.

Finally, if you're not interested in this conversation about PES Brand Manager and how he's conducting his role, then don't engage at all, Gabe. But this "it's just a game" attitude is not right. Everybody's free to take a game as seriously as they want. And when you open up yourself to a debate like you did, then don't treat people like they are inferior or whatever because they take it different than you do.

I don't care too much, and I don't really get angry about anything that's related to a game, but when I see something that's being done wrong, I have to say it.

Nothing personal though mate. It's all good.

The new Fulham kit doesn't feature the PES logo anymore and KONAMI has also been removed from the "Official Club Partners" section on their website: http://www.fulhamfc.com/

Last Sunday, they were still being listed as a partner: https://web.archive.org/web/20180708021858/http://www.fulhamfc.com/

Lygaard didn't replace Adam, Lennibo did.

You write all that end end it with "nothing personal though mate".
Always a confession of guilt IMO.
You tell him to not engage at all.
You just don't get it do you?

That is just the type of post we do not need here.

It is just a game, and the sooner some of You unclench, relax and discuss constructively the better.

I get what you're saying about it only being a game and it is that, but when that's coupled with suggestions that those who are sceptical and feel frustrated with Konami are all loners with no friends is wrong.

I treat it as just a game and if I don't like it I play something else, however it doesn't stop the frustration of wanting the game to be something I like, partucularly as it has been before and still isn't that far off now.

Partially its my fault due to the banther. As i visit the thread occasionally and because there are no news i only see the same old same old posts.

So forget all this guys. I comeback if we have the demo.

But isn't the second tweet you posted an unofficial account?.
yes. its unofficial. these details... ;)

Mostly I see high level squads gameplay BUT what gameplay with low level squads? I usually play italian Serie b 2 or 2.5 stars and in 2018 I have never seen any change in attack tactics (red slices up and down sorry I can't explain better) only defensive tactics changes (while attack tactics change only for some squads at highest level) and this not happened in 2017. And what about in finals and semifinals cup games? In 2017 and 2018 even when cpu is winning the last line attack is always on and it's all out attack (even when a draw is enough!!!) and this is not a real game. Finally I don't see more midfield battles bit less end to end but here I'm wrong.

Some of criticism made to pes 18 is that high level squads are more easy to beat and high difficult to beat low level squads (Benevento who plays like Barça and viceversa) mostly due to scripts (the worst attempt to make the game more difficult!). I read a lot of posts about older pes games (3 5 6 2013 2014) where the REAL difference and best gameplay is made by players stats. I don't think pes became better if players stats don't matter like in old age pes (why I must buy CR7 in ML if with another player I can do more or less the same?).

That's one of the main points, in master league there used to be a need to go and buy certain players and when you did they made a massive difference. When you had injurys and played the likes of Ximines or whatever he was called you felt the pain. It doesnt work like that now - it makes no difference really if i start with Kane or Vardy upfront - if one of my CB are out now it's irrelvant as any CB will do the job. It's completely stale. I thought FIFA 18 nailed this before i sold it after all the patches, i bought Van Dyjk for Liverpool (before he officially signed) and it was a massive difference.

Yeah man, that's what I'm saying too :D
and still they go crazy about that... see here: https://twitter.com/AdisDyseone/status/1017060058629369857
its not gonna help if some users on twitter spread the word wrong! ^^

and yes, i remember that e3 interview where he said the demo date will be announced at the pes league tour final!

edit: and dont let us get confused by the pes 2019 press tour! :D thats a different story!

It's amazing how weightless the game looks visually and yet some people who have played it have said it doesn't feel that way at all. Somehow I'm skeptical. With all that skating and lack of physicality this game would have to feel so much different (and so much better) to how it looks for me to ever enjoy it, I suspect.

and another video hands on from a german fella who went to play the E3 code: i can have a look at it when its lunch time a little later...

The only thing I don't like is players relying too much on their weak foot for passing and shooting (again). Suarez laying it off first time with his left foot for Messi to finish with his right foot, for example.

I know Messi's case is more contextual and adequate given his decent weak foot in real life, but other than that players are still using it too much.

Well seeing how we never got Fulham's stadium, it won't be much of a loss...copy faces and kit from PES 18 and there we go.
