Jesus, one of the first comments underneath that is a demand. "Remove ugly flags."

If I was him, I'd be replying "remove your ugly face, from Twitter".

Who the fuck calls national flags ugly?

"Remove big flags when we play with national teams they apear. They are very ugly and dont look realistic."

Jesus Christ people

From what I can tell the DMF and CB retreating seems to be sorted. The area that I would want to focus on is the sideline play. I want the defending player to use the touchline as another defender properly. Too often in PES, you can just run up and down the sides with little resistance. This sets up plenty of crosses, sure, but it makes the game quite boring.

The passing lanes seem to be much better defended from the videos, but they were good in the Beta last year - then in the released version we got wide open everywhere, especially right through the middle. You never needed the radar because a driven pass to your forward was the easiest outlet in the game. Combine that with the retreating defensive line, and now it's 3 v 4 until the DMF catches up.

How are you feeling overall? Any significant areas of concern?

Pretty much same as you. Just miss the time when pes felt a lot more organic, and you felt like you earned it when a move/goal paid off. Pes 2018 felt like 'having it off' with one of those sex robot thingies.

Is it just me or does this superficial Lygaard-style of "rising tension" leave nothing but extreme boredom?

By the third "hint" of Real Madrid deal I hit the unfollow button. I can't believe how people still gets hyped with every single tweet from him. It's unbearable and so unprofessional. Because you know what? If my suspicions are true, and there's no Real Madrid license at all, people will be left so disappointed, yet he'll come out clean, when all he did for months was tease and play with the idea of Santiago Bernabeu, etc.

On the other hand, if it ends up being true, the hyped he created will be great for those who believed in him.

He's rope walking in a storm here. If he's got it covered, good for him, otherwise, this is gonna be one bad fall.

Yep. Said it before, he's been vague enough to get away with it if Madrid aren't licensed.

Konami wonder why fans get pissed off with their PR and their guys out in the community when you've got a chump like him continually winding up their fanbase.

Well you can...unfollow him?
Well i love Heineiken but i dont follow all the employees on social media and pick apart their tweets that might relate to the product.
I don't follow him and I only become aware of his troll-like tweets when they're brought up in here.

He specifically hints about new partnerships and whatnot, there's nothing to pick apart a lot of the time.

He has hinted at a Real Madrid partnership for a good while but done so just vaguely enough to use the bullshit "I never said Real Madrid" if it isn't them.

This is why people get pissed off with Konami PR guys. Follow them or not, word spreads about possible game news.

So what? Its just a game. But hey guys its your time, up to you how you spend it. I rather have a beer with friends or take a nap instead of raging over a company's current pr technique.

But i remember all the hate aswell when Adam never tweeted about licenses before the official press release. So here we have the new guy who has time to go on social media to interract with the costumers and of course wont tell anything because its not official ...and same reaction.

But do you know he just want you hooked? And hes a topic since hes there so success.

I don´t know why KONAMI is doing this to theiselves. This hyping has always led to confusion and disappointment in the end. There are so many other things you could do to keep the community boiling. Why not presenting a reworked team (no matter if a new or old licensed one) with updated faces or something like that. Put them into the shine of the enlighten engine and it would be a safe bet, contrary to try to fly high and fall deep in the end.

Yeah I completely agree.

edit:
short german hands on review: https://www.gameflavour.de/news-2018/pro-evolution-soccer-2019-hands-on-preview/
i'll read it a little later and translate the most important bits here.

edit: he played 5 hours of E3 code, gfx improvement (entrance, light, time of day, weather), crowd reacts to gameplay on the pitch better, club team supporters do more "noise" than nt supporters, slower on regular speed, feels more realistic, slower but smoother, more weight to players, body position having more effect on shots and passes, opponent AI could be more life like (AI defenders seem to good (not every def. player has a Boateng skill set!)), keeper needs work (there should be unsafeable shots), 2019 was a positive surprise and he's looking forward to play even more!

thats his view on things...

In addition to the AI defending, the guy underlines that it is even supporting unskilled players significantly. I regard this as good news, because it sounds like better positioning/aggression/awareness in general.

and another video hands on from a german fella who went to play the E3 code: i can have a look at it when its lunch time a little later...
Not seeing any misplaced passes, nor fouls... But, as I've said a million times, it's not a "glitch", it's a design decision, so it's not something they're going to look at this year.

Also, it's Barcelona, who aren't going to misplace a lot - but, damn.

Need a video of West Ham v Bolton or something...

Nice ball physics on 10:37. How the ball bounces back after spinning in the air.

Also, Jordi Alba´s assist on that Suarez volley goal.
The way he takes the ball with his chest, right before crossing. Nice!

I can't get excited about these single team deals. It's kind of the only thing they can do with certain leagues and I appreciate having Liverpool and Anfield in there, but if I didn't have the option to import user created kits and other content what would the point even be? Hurray, we got Barcelona and Coutinho, now go play a game against Blue Burgundy?

The new Fulham kit doesn't feature the PES logo anymore and KONAMI has also been removed from the "Official Club Partners" section on their website: http://www.fulhamfc.com/

Last Sunday, they were still being listed as a partner: https://web.archive.org/web/20180708021858/http://www.fulhamfc.com/
Matt is not gonna be happy about it...
