Faces still be in Pes 2019, losing official license doesnt mean loosing real faces
 
They didn't do anything with Fulham, other than adboards and the PES logo on the kits/shorts. No change to player faces, not even an attempt at getting them right. From there, not adding an iconic stadium like Craven Cottage, it's just no surprise that with Fulham promoted they essentially rise above this lack of attention. That's not to say that EA will treat them better...but I do believe they'll be much closer. Still hoping Craven Cottage makes it into the game.

At 11:26 Umtiti runs backwards and keeps Mane onside where normally he should stay up and put him offside.
Maybe it's because he also has his mind on Salah who's coming from the right wing because Alba is completelly out of position somewhere in the centre,but still it looks unnatural.
These things happen in real life sometimes but in Pes they happen more regularly than they should.It feels like it happens on purpose sometimes so the other team can have a scoring chance.I hope they'll improve this for 19 because positioning and defending in general looks somehow improved.
This also shows how important is to keep the formation structure in a correct way and not send players out of their position.The guy who controls Barca doesn't make a very good job in this regard and his Alba is all over the place,in the centre of the pitch where he has no reason to be,so Umtiti is left alone with the potential danger of Salah which he wants to contain but with that he also keeps Mane onside and in the end it leads to conceding a goal.
I hope they'll work more on this thing so at least when you keep your formation as it should,you won't see such situations.If you draw your players out of their position,then ok you should get punished sometimes.

If you can get only 3 EPL teams, I prefer a top English team licensed than Fulham, now we know, Konami don't make stadiums of on short deal partners teams (Valencia/Fulham).

Agreed.
Kits do look like they were made of latex. And collars are too stiff.

Also, night games look a little too flat somehow, like... it's lacking shadows on player faces and such. While day games are looking a lot better than last year.

I think PES 2019 will be the best football game (from Konami) of the Post-PS2 era, but it will have plenty of shortcomings and annoyances.

The plastic kits.. is not the only problem here... I don't know... we were having a fight on youtube comment section on one of my videos, that one guy says that PES looks so old gen even worst.. this video somehow proves his point... PES look so dated compere with other current game games...

True.

I think we sometimes mistake players likeness with realism or graphics quality.
PES players likeness (faces, hairs, models, etc) it's unparalleled when compared to FIFA. But when it comes to technologies and using them to take full advantage to try to produce a photo-realistic game (from close-up and from gameplay view) it's still not up to speed. That's what I said in my previous post to this one, talking about night games looking flat, lacking shadows, etc.
We settle for less, sometimes. This year they created a simple noisy texture for PES 2019 (from what we can see in the videos and screenshots) and everybody went crazy talking about how good the grass looks. It's just a simple texture with noise! There are no foot planting marks, no real time pitch wearing out, nothing. A noisy texture, that's all it took.

That said, I still think PES graphics look better than FIFA's.

I hate when people like you don’t do their research and act like it’s a fact. And just say things to make Pes look much worse than it is. This is also 2k18 faces:

I would like for you to talk about Dortmund, Barcelona scanned faces for example and see how realistic they look. But it’s not easy to complement Konami around here, they suck but you still play their games lmao.
 
Faces were shit in PES 3-6 but the gameplay was great. Now the faces are great and gameplay is shit.:CONF:

One improvement I'd like to see this time is the commentary name pool. It's been very poor since the change of commentator a few years ago.

Ok, not as important as gameplay and licenses but it's naff as hell playing a Brasilao league with about 2 players on the pitch being called.

They need to combine the pools. A mixture of Jon Champion and Peter Drury will be no more jarring than the current name splicing in sentences...
