Regarding pass assistance and shooting, it is definitely strongly connected. Like someone mentioned before, it's all about how much time you have to set your self for shot. With pass assistance on higher lever, you can shoot sooner as you received better pass and don't need to "take you time to control it". It's all connected, pass+pressure of the opponent+your input with the shot.
Which makes it even more unfair online when you want to play football without auto correction on higher pass assistance.
Seriously, just give me pes 2018 beta with as much fouls as we 9 and Im fine with that.
It frustrates the hell out of me whenever the pes 2018 beta gameplay comes to my mind because then I realize Konami is 100% capable of producing a very fun game for most of us but its like they dont want it.
I remember there were so many positive comments about the beta all over twitter, people asking to noy change the pace, just to fix button switch lag, but for some reason they fucked up everytning in the end.
Not that the beta was perfect, far from it. Bear in mind it was 1vs1 also, not against the crap, boring Ai they programmed, but I did have very good memories. It was very addicting
I think beta was the pes with the perfect pace and no Ai interference/script, people were punished by their mistakes and vicious
Watching the videos I’m struggling to see a difference from last year, it’s just so open and the same exploits are there, I cannot see what the focus has been for the dev team
Please Lock this thread until demos out. . it’s a load of shit
This thread is full of people trying to tell people who played it they’re wrong.
Some people really need to get out more instead of wanking over every bit of negative video on YouTube.
You can tell WENB has closed down and half the twats are now on here.
See you Thursday.......
Do we get new camera options (gameplay) or it's still same since PES 2008?
i agree 100%Taking a look at the past PES games there is a remarkable track record of "video analyzers" being right and "hands-on playtesters" being wrong regarding the early detection of major flaws or inconsistencies in the game. So i would be very thankful if you could go a little bit more into detail and give a comprehensible explanation why video analyzing and contextual posts regarding the PES gameplay in its current status should be anything worth locking the thread.
Furthermore I doubt naming the majority of users a "twat" will contribute anything positive to the situation, as it makes your post the most offensive one by far i spotted in here for weeks.
Often said after that the game released is not version played at these events so everything be is positive or negative needs to be taken with pinch of salt
Sometimes over-analysing and over-thinking really does take away from the enjoyment of just playing a game. I think I approached PES 2018 the wrong way - watched countless videos pre-release, spent much too much time looking at videos and screenshots of team structures - eventually when the game came out I was almost burnt out before even playing it.
Took a chunky break and then came back to it in the new year and it was great, had a lot of fun playing PES for the last 7 or so months. Looking forward to trying the PES 2019 demo but I don't want to "overplay" the demo before the game is even out - if it's like PES 2018 but an improvement in certain areas then I'm sure I and many, many others will be really happy.
For those who are pissed about the way PES is going year after year. I have an honest and sincere question. Didnt you consider taking a breake?
i&
unfortunetly ?
You see that as a bad thing ?
This was quite possibly the best reason why I found the beta do enjoyable and I had so much wins while playing on manual against assisted players
Something that I have been noticing
If you reallu want to see what is Konami vision on the game, just take a close look at how Cpu AI play and you will understand.
We are due for the demo on the new Zealand store tomorrow evening right?
Oh. I haven't tried any demos till date. Thanks for the info.demo has no commentary every year
I do agree with what you're saying. I often take long breaks from it, as I tend to favour FIFA for a fair bit of the year but whenever I do play PES again I do enjoy it. The problem for me is that the niggles creep in and before long the issues are just far too much to keep playing. It lacks longevity and fails to give you a reason to want to carry on with it. There's no doubt it can be and is fun but I don't just want it to be fun, I want to feel invested in it. I can have short bursts of fun by playing exhibitions, however I want an immersive ML that gives me a reason to want to keep playing it, rather than just the odd throwaway exhibition matches.Sometimes over-analysing and over-thinking really does take away from the enjoyment of just playing a game. Offline modes are an afterthought for konami atm. Even Adam Bhatti was quoted that he has to fight for any love to be given to ml. The extra revenue generated by myclub is konami's main focus as we know. I am keeping my expectations pretty low re the demo of pes 2019, hopefully it will be an improvement, but I am still expecting quite a few of the usual fundamentals of the 'beautiful game' to be lacking as has been pointed out in recent game play videos.
Really really good point you made there!
I haven´t watched the latest videos anymore.
Analyzing and discussing is good, but I mostly overflew that posts.
Gonna try to reset and get my mind fresh the best that I can before trying the demo.
