As far as I remember that question was asked here before and after little bit of investigating it was discovered that Ligue 2 doesnt have playoffs in real life.

It didn't prior to this season (or last? cant remember), but this season there is a promotion playoff for Ligue 2 for sure

Pathetic.
I get the need to block people who are being abusive etc but to do it to put up a positive marketing front and to stop nay sayers and people who are critical from having a voice about the game in these forums is just pathetic, and seeks to piss people off whenever there is no need for it. Taking these jobs carry responsibility to listen and interact...Blocking just makes an unecessary statement of arrogance...

It's fairly specific in that it says each league will have unique presentation, but they don't have.

Whenever I had something to say it was always via Official Pes and I was always targetting the game, never people. Like in here. My posts werent any different on twitter. I gave them a little stick here and there, (for instance - when they were posting clips of Coutinho shooting from distance I said that it must be fake
), or I was posting .gifs saying "fix it!"...But it was never venomous or hatefull.
I have to say - its funny... and not funny at the same time...
Anyway - I cant ask them about playoffs in Ligue 2. Sorry guys.

Go ahead Gabe, keep defending Konami with whatever argument you can find to cover what they actually did say and did publish on their website.
Just because they didn't literally say SCOREBOARD, doesn't mean we don't know what they were referring to. Actually, if they were to release a full graphics pack for the licensed leagues they would probably call it as they did, so I dont' get what you keep trying to defend. But if it makes you feel better for believing in this company, then be my guest.

im saying that its not a valid argument in this case. the unique presentation is covered in this case by the balls, tournament logos, names, league overlay for the scoreboard, intro vids for the leagues, 3d cups...so you cant say its their fault because you expected more. just get the facts right pls as the forum looks sometimes shocking
also i didnt say anything in defens of ML issues and gameplay issues tho those were there and the game should have been released with the fixes so not sure what this defending bollocks is about

I just want them to stay true to what they say, on different channels and in various forms. Whether it was on Live Streams at different Events around the World. On their Official Social Media Channels. On their Personal Twitter Accounts. On PES Official Website.
Next year they should be A LOT more careful when spreading around information. Either be more specific or just say "We don't know". Simple as that.

Konami are at best selective with the truth and at worst liars.
End of October and 2 huge partner teams who were supposedly fully licensed are still missing half the scans and the 2 “iconic” stadiums we were promised are still not mentioned at all. Totally ignored by all at Konami and on social media, no feedback at all.
Basically lying to fans to purchase a game that won’t be representative to what they pitched until at least December.... that’s simply pathetic.
The presentation of the licences leagues is also very very poor, it’s basically a little logo on the score boards and that’s it...it’s hardly representative to a licensed league. Guys on PC can fix it by importing the stuff but we ok consoles are stuck with a bland fake looking game that we can’t even edit. It’s 2018 and we had more options in 98 for goodness sake.
It seems that unless we sink in hours to mods and community patches if lucky enough to be on the PC then we are left with a half arsed broken game.....again

They won’t though mate, we both know that. Asim and Adam will be sat down while various people play test the game human v human and we will be fed the usual hyperbole about advanced intelligent AI, player individuality and ML overhaul. We fall for it every single year for some reason, more out of blind hope than expectation.
2020 is going to be no different until a new team take over and our feedback is taken seriously and not blocked and ignored because we don’t praise the games every pass and shot.
How many times have we all been on the edge of our sheets for a post release patch of a broken PES? How many times have we actually been impressed with the fixes?
There is too much to fix imo, they couldn’t get it right in a year so I think it’s mental to expect them to do it in 2 months.

Although, supposedly, PES 2021 should come with a new engine, specifically developed for PES. Do we actually even believe that?.
I used to play games to escape from the real world.
Now games try to incorporate the real world into them.
For fake news, PES 2019 did a real good job.
The thing is with PES 2019 fake news you can't even blame the ruskis so its actually WORSE than the real world.
I bet you a BigPapi pizza, that the patch is more fakeness. Lets see what comes.

I'm not saying you're lying, it's just that I'm with @gabe.paul.logan on this one. They did mention stuff about presentation, but that's just how marketing works. If something is not specifically mentioned, it's not in. You should know this by know, especially things coming from Konami. Like Gabe mentioned, there's logo's, balls, structure, cups, commentators using the name of the competitions etc. That's also presentation. The real scoreboards and such is also presentation, I agree, but just assuming those would be in is not Konami's fault but your own.
And sure, I agree it sucks and the current scoreboard layout is truly disgraceful and ugly, but it has been like that for many years now, so it's not coming out of left field now is it?

There is not Dynamic Lighting in a way that shadows are moving.

We need to be more specific about menus.
Major problem is that menus are way too SLOW.
There is significant loading time for every single transition.
I don`t see much problem with the visual design, it is ok, more or less.
Absolutely not, it was about PES.
No one there had stopped playing pes, no matter all negativity and hate.
Konami had shut it down, as well as their official WENB. Almost at the exactly same time.
They choose to cut internet critics much as they could, instead of being honest with community and not trying to fuck us over with a great demo and then not so great (and changed) - full game later.
I must say Konami did improved communication a bit, sadly only via twitter.
On PesFan were so many well points about PES copying Fifa in its worst.
Instead the GOOD things, someone at Konami had a great idea to take literally every single BAD thing from Fifa, and implement it to Pes. Like they have read Fifa forums and catch ppl complains, written it down, and then, one by one, add it to Pes.
People on PesFan totally disclosed any Konami`s intentions regarding Pes.
Pes was always primary a PS4 game, but as they step out to PC, now anyone can see their mark on Steam - "Mostly Negative".

If you're with Gabe on this one, you're just as wrong and as blinded as he is, because Nik has already proved him wrong.
And I love it when people claim stuff such as "that's just how marketing works", as if I'd lived in a bubble for the past 31 years of my life.
I've played other games. I've modded other games. I've studied marketing as part of my career. And no, that is NOT how marketing works.
In fact, I'm having trouble remembering when any other game developing company has said they have this and that on the game when it's nothing further from the truth. I can't really remember any other episode like this.

Maybe you should read my reply again. Nik didn't prove him wrong. It's just a difference in what everybody interprets as "presentation". Is a league specific ball a form of presentation? Are the real commentators of each league a form of presentation? Live broadcasts with reporters from each country? You could go very deep with that "unique presentation" announcement. But the things I mention above will probably never happen, and you know that also because I don't see you complain about those parts missing from the game. But then you do about scoreboards. Why?
They have unique presentation elements for each licensed league: ball, tune, intro movie, badges on the kits, logo's etc. So it wasn't like they were lying. It's something that people made up because FIFA has it.

Create package of licenses leagues including balls, scoreboards etc KONAMI should make in 2-3 weeks.
KONAMI should cantact with Juce and ask him to create special tool for editing to Pes on console. It will be huge for PES but KONAMI wants hire more people for social media than people who can help PES series much more.
