.. have to post some more while im on it:

+much better response in terms of special moves.. ie. much easier to perform.
+I mentioned sounds earlier, now you regularly hear a feint 'thud' when trapping the ball... ive never noticed this in pes2018.
+I know im full manual, and someone asked re variety of shots...I shot outside the box with Perisic, and it went well wide (due to my aim yes), but also it went quite high .. whats more impressive it was actually curling towards the goal, even though it missed by a mile. Hard to explain, but together with the shot animation and actual shot itself, looked amazing. Never saw this one in pes2018. should have saved it.

+played first game in wet... felt awesome. Ball really skids around...

+actually.. one more.. I think I mentioned this earlier, but its definitely confirmed in all the games ive now played on superstar: The defending ai of their attacking players is awesome.. they actually hound my keeper when I pass the ball to my keeper.. they press quite a bit harder than in pes2018. Definitely not my imagination... often ive had to quickly get rid of the ball.

+oops.. another one.. I tackled a guy from behind.. straight red for me.. ala pes5 style... ill try again at the end of my next game.

- Replay angles still the same shit... jeez... konami.. fix this.. the replay angles have been horrendous since pes14. Ill be very very surprised if they can fix this with a patch.

-oh damn.. like pes2018, they took away that ability 'to be able to smash the ball in any direction after the final whistle'.. its something I loved.. was in pes 17.. damn Konami lol... thought they may have brought it back.... nope..
 
I know the games are a bit short, but any other impressions on the AI? Still one dimensional? Do they instantly retreat once they lose possession? lobbed thruballs is 90% of the attack?

Havent heard too many complains of backheels so thats positive

I only play on superstar I did test further they will press if close enough and not just back off but if there further away you get no Response. If you follow @bryan_footy u can see my video of it just standing there for minutes with no reaction

Really?? I just saw this comment.. that's weird..cos im on superstar.. and when I pass back .. around the back and to my keeper, the ai attackers hound me.. ill try it..but seriously.. every game.. ive passed back to my keeper... I have to get rid of it quick.. panic like... ill try with just a defender...

Are you leading? Maybe, the AI's wise enough to know they need to score.

ok... just cost me 2 goals lol. I was inter vs milan on superstar.. full manual etc.. kicked off passed to back immediately to defender and ran in my box... and 2 of the milan's attackers hounded me... one pressed up against me, and another went around an stole the ball... and scored.... twice in a row this happened..... could possible be way bara are set up??? based on what ive experienced in every game ive played thus far, the defending ai on superstar have hounded me when either my defenders have it or my keeper has it...
 
.. I was 0-0 also.. then went down 2-0 due to this silly experiment to see if ai would steal the ball off my silly defender, who parked himself inside his own box... lol...

i played a few on superstar i found it easier than 2018 the AI (demo I know scripting ect won't be there) they certainly did moves I didn't see on 2018 and no spamming of the lob ball in to the box but i did see them chip it to the wings now and then like last years

AI feels a bit more human they do some rash challenges and have seen them have goals ruled out for offside which was rare on 18
 
Ok so it might be a Barcelona (formation) issue colo colo didn’t do it. But Barca do it everytime I sneaked up to half way line they just back off posting a new vid
 
Two more great games online. Lost one and one the other. Love defending. Definitely feel more in control. Game looks stunning. Extremely life-like. Initial impressions guys.

Will try ai shortly. Hope there's no weird shit

You and @embraceuk1 have an opposite experience with the AI. I'll call this a DRAW!:D
This is a good thing. Atleast, the AI has variety.:D
 
I think the taking shots from weird angles or positions resulting in some scuffed efforts was a much needed addition so ill give konami credit for that i hope next year they give passing the same treatment its too easy on lvl 1 right now

How on earth you meant to judge on 5 min games?
First impression.....not yet. I’ve only played once and now I’m heading out to Orient v Ebbsfleet!
 
There is definitely more shot error as well, I had Falcao carry out a bicycle kick in front of the goal and he completely shinned it off for a throw in :LMAO:
