Last one before bed...

+when playing in wet, much easier to lose footing when sprinting n changing direction...in that last game inter v milan, i fell/slipped over twice with perisic when trying to change direction, and once with the right wing back (forget his name). Have seen this in pes2018 but definitely more prevalent and easier to do in pes2019. Good stuff for those defending too hard with the r1...

Im out for tonight...2.22am here in aussie. Thankfully took the day off work lol

Does someone know when the demo will release on steam? Its midnight or later tomorrow?

That is the first time i will play it on pc.

Look at this thread. It works. Even if it means we don't get to test the "visible fatigue".

Works great for me :)) Nothing more needed than F2P version. It seems a bit better, but it's really not super interesting. Not like vision is going to be rewarded or that there's really more depth to it. Still built for zipping passes together quickly. Some of the Super Star videos that were posted told enough I must say.

This is an issue I have - we're already talking about "mods will make it good" and "next year I hope the passing is harder". This is day one of the new game and we're talking about fixing it, about what the game still needs but doesn't have.

No doubt it generally feels better, but. I can't help but feel - especially seeing how well the AI play with supposedly poorer teams - that it doesn't really matter. (But that's because I exclusively play the AI.)

Same underlying mechanics Chris. Sure, bit polished, bit improved, not as instantly infuriating, but yeah....not really interesting. Will take a new build and new foundations....if ever.... My 2 cents though.

Ok, so I tried to walk in a circle when having the ball. You guessed it right, I could not, because you can only move in 8 directions, in a sports game, in 2018. It's not a technical impossibility, it's a choice the developers made, this is their vision.
I've abandoned all hope in the series, I am free now.

Just got home from holiday and voila the demo is there (NZ account)

Its impressive offline but why 5 minute matches? Having to keep re-matching to learn things.

Looks the same as last year, plays on the same lines but like a different game just because of how free the physics are, the game seems no longer on rails.

Also even for 5 minute matches Liverpool do foul a lot becuase of their high pressure.

Okay, I've had 5 injuries in 20 matches. This game is broken! ;)

Edit - I should clarify actually: I'm playing as Fekir and he has gone down and stayed down holding his leg after 3 or 4 challenges in a dozen or so games. He hasn't gone off injured yet. Makes me wish they brought back the 'cpu kicks the ball out if a player is down injured' from years ago.

Day/Fine game time - it's like a typical 6PM aternoon game. There is no more a typical DAY/FINE noon daylight? That was my fav one :f

Guys, please suggest me a PC setup to run PES 2019 smoothly on max setting on 1080p. I'm upgrading my PC. I just need PES+FIFA run smooth on max. I don't play any other games. Suggest me setup on budget.

While some playtesters clearly fell into the hype-trap of claiming it was "borderline manual", I am getting the impression that some people are still guided by that claim in having to completely deny it: "it's so unlike manual it's exactly the same as last year".

That's not true, in my experience so far. The following concerns PA1.

That describes, visually, how players have a magnetism around them, which attracts any ball whose player input is within the field. Except, in my view, it's worse than that in 2016-2018: it's near impossible to mishit the ball into space. That means the fields around each player are as large as the distance between any players.

What I'm seeing in 2019 demo so far is something that's more similar to this above pic than 2018 is; i.e., while there are still large fields around players, if your aim and power are bad enough, you can still totally mishit it. Meaning: there are "empty" spaces on the pitch, not covered by some intersection of magnetic fields. That's new, in terms of recent retail versions of the game series (and reminiscent of the beta).

In addition, through balls do feel "loose", and can roll on quite a bit if you don't get the power right. Overall, passes feel more consistently related to power input than on 2018.

Backheels, I've noticed, are weaker when you use the same amount of power as ordinary passes. Still fairly accurate direction-wise though.

Ok so it might be a Barcelona (formation) issue colo colo didn’t do it. But Barca do it everytime I sneaked up to half way line they just back off posting a new vid

It's not just Barcelona, Colo Colo too did the same to me. They just stay there waiting unless they switch to offensive level on the attack/defense setting.

Will post a video later.

Feels very similar to 2018. Can still 1-2 your way to the goal and when you get there the goalie will stay rooted to his line.

That said, the game looks really good and the weight of the players feels spot on.

Looks good though, however I need to test this up on PC (4K hopefully) as it looks weird on PS4.. Quite similar to PES 2018, and as I have mentioned above - day/fine game time is a late afternoon and that worries me a bit.

This level of clarity and objectivity is a breath of fresh air, imagine if this was the kind of feedback coming out of playtests and going back to Konami. I bet they increased the assistance radius after people complained at E3. Sad, but at least there is some improvement.

I choose random as time of the day and had night Camp Nou, evening that goes into night the second half and day with early afternoon lighting.

oh boy... the girl is not feeling well tonight... so this opens a window... to the PESdemo! :D
never tried looking like interested when having a video call with her AND playing PES at the same time! :LMAO:
sure ill give that a try later!

Edit: I’ll give 2018 a last match while the demo is downloading. Same settings for the demo then... let’s see.
