OMG.. what is going on. On PS3, goal keepers safe 99 % of shots in the side in the penalty box... it's ridiculous.
You need a miracle to score a goal there.. and why after crossing inside in the box.. players always make some light and gay shots.. never shots hard and Confidently. In PES 2017, with fake shots you can make some awesome moves, here we have just 2-3 animations .. why?

Haven't played the demo since it came,so I'll give it a go later on tonite.
I've always had as a hard time playing demos (sport games) there's so much missing in them, aggressiveness,but mainly the competitive nature of a fiesty league game.
But giving it a go later on again
Impressions may vary I guess from my first 20 + games on Tuesday.
Any side that are good to play Vs?

What's a "gay shot"?
 
This game is fucking great.

I lost 2 won 1 so far couldn't get a shot on target first 2 games because Inters defensive ouwldnt allow many openings.

I love that you can't juts run into a loose ball out wide and swing it in with gay abandon. If your body positioning is not right the player plays a very weak cross.

This is on basic pass setting 1

AI on top difficulty averages a free kick per game against me so far and around 80% pass accuracy.

They can be quite tricky with the ball so you need to be wise in defence

I can confirm that a few people here are full of shit. This isn't just a matter of opinion.

Not every shot is on target
Not every pass is on target for myself or the ai
You cant dribble through a whole team with even Messi
Shots do have variation.Could they have more? Of course
The AI can defend on tp

Enjoyed my one half I got to play. Definitely a game I could get more into when I have the time.

it's about getting priorities straight, when building a footy game.
1.shooting
2.passing
3.fouls
4.animations
5.player models
6.faces
7.lighting

not the other way around.
 
I have been playing the demo for last few days and generally it is an improvement on PES17 but the assisted passing at level 1 is way to assisted. I have been playing at top player level and find I hardly ever give the ball away and it is annoying because they are almost there but need to tweak things slightly.

Shooting I have no issue with as a use Advanced and I am getting a very good variety of goals and I feel that I am in control of the shot. The basic shot though need tweaking as a lot of use it and it just does not feel right.
 
If you do hold up play and dribbles in the final third the cpu will foul you. It was present in 2017 too but why would you do that if passing and shooting is more deadly?

After all there are no "random" fouls at all. I want to see players with higher foul ratio. It needs a unique ability.

Ok people need to stop with this bs and nonsense exaggeration. Yes you can dribble with these guys easier than others but that's how they are in real life anyways, but it's not op to the point you can't defend against them. If anything they are spot on, it looks like I'm watching them on tv do their thing.
 
Second run with this demo.
Had 6 games all Inter Vs Colo Colo.
1.I need to learn how to defend properly

2 shooting feels better than 17,not much but slightly better,I was taking weaker shots from the outside,low!

3 movement and CPU reactions to that,great,really enjoyed making a quick feint and getting a few meters,very responsive.

4 looks,has been said a lot already,like it.
5 it's a demo, therefore,lacks intensity,and a nasty edge to it, hopefully it gets that with the full release,tactics/contra tactics/scripting etc etc.
6 really like how the ball moves on the pitch,really life-like

To me it's tough playing this one since enjoy my ML to much on 17,were I get what this one lacks.
Didn't play the 17 demo much either.
Good demo though
Btw,watching Chile v Paraguay atm,have to say,just by watching this,and watching the demo,looks really authentic, lightning,how the game flows etc
