ARHS na goustaris!
I am always trying to stay far away from the sh*tstorm, but this year the eye of it is right in the god damn middle.
One bar assistance has always been insanely restrictive and automatic, when people are claiming otherwise on playtests, etc. I am always laughing my ass off. PES doesn't have the proper assistance levels. Its like this:
3 Bar basically, AIvsAI
2 Bar AI(am I even playing)vsAI
1 Bar Assisted as fuck!!!
Manual - playable and enjoyable and you are seeing much more of the game, than with assisted. Shooting is the same, you are playing on either manual, or the game will feel fast, insanely end to end and what not.
The only problem that people should focus on, is the damn defense. This is probably the worst PES I've ever seen defensively(Superstar). I will wait for the 6 star difficulty in the full release, but god damn the little men on the pitch are braindead.
Yes, chip shots are kinda cheesy, but they are meant for that... if they tone it down, we have no fuckin idea how exactly they are going to do it, maybe the will break ti, or worse, they will break other things while "fixing" it.
Keepers being floaty, boys these are the best keepers in the history of the franchise, they are easily rivaling PES 5/6. They are far from perfect, some may say they are kinda "scripted", but every aspect of the game is somewhat scripted, the keepers are doing great and we should appreciate the progress in this area.
Fouls, I never had issues with fouls on 2017, I mean, I am always being fouled If the A.I. is completely unable to stop me from advancing in, I can easily make the A.I. foul me. 2-4 Fouls per game, most games.
Now Penalties, now that is something rare. Maybe I've been give no more than 5-6 penalties through out my time with 2017 and my time is by no means a lot, roughly 150 hours tops.
I also do not like how the game was made to be so open and spacey, but I can see why they did it. People have been complaining for ages that they can't score and that their games are 0:0 or low scoring. If we can't "fix" this retarded defensive A.I. with deep tactical changes, then I don't know what to think of 2018. Yes, I will wait for the 6 star difficulty, but I really don't see why they would hide something in their, but hey who knows, KONAMI are known for making retarded decisions, maybe this is just one of those and they game will play different on 6 stars, defensively.
