I don't know what to make of this. Since I'm an offline player mostly, I cannot judge it because it's online with a hint of lag which cause a very slight button delay and might cause people to think it's slower. Plus playing humans is completely different to playing AI. I did have fun playing Steve from here though. That was an unexpected surprise, lol.

Hey Lami, that was hilarious

Guys, like a lot of you in AUSTRALIA, I couldn't get a match started - waiting well over 5+ mins before cancelling. Then I got calls from a couple of mates who just dl'd the beta, both living at the opposite ends of the same city I live in (Canberra, Australia). While on the phone, we tested to see if by pressing the begin match (1v1 with exact same match making details) at the exact same time as eachother, we could somehow get connected and matched up against one another. Didn't work.. and then as my mate quit, I suddenly got my first game vs Lami hahah.. I was still on the phone with my mate at the time, commentating and letting him know how I found the game.
I enjoyed the game a lot

I was pleasantly surprised, as I usually get more lag playing pes online. That's why I don't play pes online.. the lag. I'm like you Lami, I'm mostly offline as the smallest amount of stutter or slowdown is a deterrent for me. So for me to fully judge, and in fact enjoy this game to the fullest, ill be playing 1 vs com, or doing the pes nights having co-op or multiplayer (1v1 or 2v2) offline only. Cannot wait for the 'DEMO'.
But, what I got from limited time with the 'Beta':
+ Awesome pace..nice n realistically slow.
+ Ball physics are amazing
+Finally some passing errors when on full manual.. ie. a few times point a certain direction, and the ball would go ever so slightly a few degrees off to the left or right causing an error. I'm guessing, but not sure, that the passing on full manual is now more stat based. This not only includes direction, but also with the power.
+ Finally, there are real trapping/control errors... At one point, I passed the ball with full power aiming for a distant player, but instead it ricocheted off an unexpecting nearby player. Noticed little errors throughout the beta play.. the ball is much looser.
-only real negative if you call it that, is that some shots still seem OP.
-one more thing... game seems to lean towards attacking, meaning its easier to attack than defend. WE9/pes5 and pes6 had an awesome balance in that it was much easier to defend than attack, and often this was the reason it was hard to break down defence (in multiplayer) and scorelines were rarely that huge.
-...oops one more... and probably most important for me are the camera views. As most of you know, now you can select all the camera views, however, the customisation for parameters like zoom, height, and angle are still locked. Since I'm a full manual player, It makes a huge difference, playing vs cpu in my favourite angle, getting used to the touch of manual passing/shooting on that particular angle, and then not being able to select this exact camera angle during online.
BUT GUESS WHAT (in case none of you have tested it), during a gameplay pause, you can actually go into camera settings, fiddle with z,h,a paremeters while in the menu and see these changes visually being made to the camera. I actually thought it finally worked. However, as soon as you then go back out of menu, and in game, the camera reverts to the default view (unchangeable parameters). Weird stuff.. like Konami were going to let you do it, but didnt have time to fix it... guess its a beta and it may well be posible in the next build - fingers crossed.
