I have read this forums on and off for years and you come out with the same pro-PES propaganda everytime. Stop making up taglines like "The King Is Back" and "Best gameplay on the market" when no one has even played FIFA 17 full release yet.

It's because of people like you that Adam Bhatti and Asim think the PES franchise doesn't need any work - they could bake one of their turds and stick a PES flag on it and you would still say it's the best thing ever.

I for one cannot wait for fifa release just to have this forum in peaceful ignorant bliss.
 
Goalgerd I can't thank you enough and whilst I had a so what attitude about the guys at pes universe charging for their hard work. Its people like you, Glen and many others who do this for no charge whatsoever its what makes a community great.

I wish Konami would and the care packages they so free with to you guys as well.

good news!

i am looking around and compiling the bits that i see that i think I will need for an OF but it just seems silly to me that someone is creating the DFL bundesliga file but the other guys at PESWorld/uuniverse whoever are making their own whereas they could just for permission and work together with the other guy to get everything out.
 
Headers seem to always balloon pathetically.

AI negativity is a major concern as well and I've been trying to tweak their tactics to no avail.

no problem man, as i said before these are just kits il use on my own optionfile so it only takes a few minutes to make a link for others who'll use them

im already in discussions with the guys over on pesgaming , everyone over there making leagues that people will use, by the end of next week for example the full Mexican, MLS, Chinese and Bundesliga will be free to download
 
I find that crosses into the box are overpowered and lead to goals more than they should. I find myself crossing for headed goals more than usual.... anyone feel this way?
 
I am in 2 minds as to whether I should buy it or not. In general it plays better than 2016 but the shooting to me feels lifeless and flat. I scored a goal earlier on by just tapping [] on the PS4 control pad and it flew in I didnt have to think about direction or player positioning or feet. Worrying me a bit

It is a problem, the only thing preventing it from impacting my enjoyment is the fact I'm finding it so hard to make clear cut opportunities. I know a lot aren't so I'm probably terrible but I probably have 6-10 shots a game and a lot are from terrible positions and get blocked/easily saved.

Use the manual trigger for floated crosses and early crosses. The arrow really helps, and for some reason the power on the crosses seems to be more on point. Combine that with the triple/double tap cross and the advanced through balls as another 'driven' cross alternative, and you have plenty of ways to mix your crossing up on manual.

Well put Zeee.
It's always a few that does the same mantra over and over again.
Everyone is entitled to their own,but if you have a look at their other posts on other thread,well you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out their agenda.
 
Am i missing something or can you only deal with one thing at a time during the last day of the transfer window, i.e. you deal with a bid on your player but have negotiations to buy a player, but you can only do one of those in that 3 hours?

Thanx pal,I almost feel like rookie at PES,played "Goliath" for a long period before this.
Really struggling in my ML,need some practice I guess:)
But loving manual.

At the beginning maybe, but as I played more, it's not too overpowered, it's just based on space and who's there to head the ball. Stats I guess. When I play against a friend it doesn't work too often because we position well. Personally I will rather have this than what we got last year, it was just dreadful, too hard to hit a good cross and score.
 
I must have got really good on manual on the demo. I thought the full game is easier but maybe I have just improved. I don't hit as many at the keeper and finding there are areas where it is easier to angle it in.

I like when using manaul you could still misplace a pass.

Itching to get on with the ML so I can truly test the AI on this game.

Struggling here to,but getting the hang of it,you really have to be a few steps ahead.
Think team mate ai is brilliant

The ML is a different game my friend,I'm finding it really challenging
 
I know it's been beaten to death, but the only glaring fault that I just can't overlook is the pitch color. Are they all color blind over there? Good God. It makes zero sense because you can just, you know, look at actual pictures of turf under various lighting for reference. I can't play day matches in the majority of stadiums I've tested. Sure, there's a few niggles here and there and some things I'd like to see improved upon for 2018, but the joy I'm getting out of this game is something I thought would be lost forever in regards to this series. I also found myself sneaking in a late night match before bed. "One more match, it's fine..."

Are there issues with the game? Of course. I'm not going to sit her and say it's perfection in video game form, but I honestly can't see how someone could love football, and not love PES 2017. I think it's that good. The amount of times I've paused the game and looked on in awe from seemingly trivial things like how a striker loses his marker, or an ingenious touch... it's wonderful. Speaking of which, Ronaldo feels so much like Ronaldo it's absurd. Not just in terms of his pace, strength and what have you, but also his goal poaching instincts, and positioning. That attack prowess stat is really doing wonders for him. The way he gives his marker the slip, or utilizes his pace to get on the end of a less than stellar cross is truly a sight to behold. He stands out, and rightfully so.

When you've been playing football games since the early 90s, these are the types of things you really begin to appreciate. The subtle nuances between players that, on the surface might seem completely trivial or even go unnoticed, but in actuality they are the necessary pieces of a bigger whole. It's how they connect, and behave with one another that can help create a special game of football. That's really a big part of what PES used to be about, isn't it? For whatever reason it got lost along the way. It's like Baggar Vance strolled on up to Konami one evening.

It shows you the games true mettle. I only start ML when my option files are 100% complete.
I remember back in my in editing days on the PS 2 yes the pixel editor lol I used to spend weeks before I kicked a ball in anger. That OCD hasn't left me yet

They do, they're almost like shots at times! If I want to whip in a cross across the face of goal I use the normal cross, and just make sure my positioning/power is right. If I want to stand it up for my big man at the far post I use the lofted cross. I do like that they put some zip on the ball, but sometimes in the context of what I'm trying to do it's a bit much LOL.



You can really whip in some dangerous balls.

The good thing nowadays is that you can edit almost everything as you go along,except tactics and player stats,remember when you spent a week editing,and found out a game in,that you've missed a few things:)
I edited team tactics for Serie A-B,and Juve -Sassuolo and then started playing
