PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

After 2 hours installing option file - i recomend moving 10 and saving - if it crashes it stores the images but dont save anything so you double up on images that arent attached to anything

had 2 games - was City and beat Juve 2-1 and was Chelsea and beat Dortmund 4-0 - earned super sub trophy when the new chelsea forward scored with his first touch.

The option file (PESWorld) make the kits look stunning.

Gonna have some lunch and go back on for more!

Couldn´t agree more.
Now KONAMI seem to have the gameplay right and should concentrate on the visuals and bells and whistles for next year.

The game looks good, no doubt...but it could be much better, because KONAMI can be good in graphics.
If it wasn´t so washed out-looking.
I wish there was sweetfx for PS4.

Tbh, there's no excuse now for not including a load of generic stadia (somewhat similar to some real ones) and using chants. There's no way chants can be subject to licenses so they need to add them for as many teams as possible. It's amazing to hear utd being willed on when playing a league game in FIFA.

They just need to do what they were always known for a pick out all those key details which make it feel lik ea real game. EA have been nailing that the last few years.
 
Hi, I've got a quick question (i have an XBOX one)

I was planning on buying PES2017 to play through the brazil league as that's the league that has the most stadiums and licenses (or so i thought). I've since read that although the kits are licensed a lot of the player names are fake.

My question is do the players with the fake names have the correct faces/look? i'm happy with manually editing all the fake player names but don't want to go through all of them and correct their appearances too.

Any help would be much appreciated

Not to get so much into it. But speaking of FIFA 17 demo. The game is just not good enough, the passing/shooting is just pain to see, and for some weird reason the Ref and GK are far worse now, they are so stupid in their decisions, I thought last year wasn't so bad, now it's getting worse. Most importantly get rid of this stupid FIFA street skill sticks spamming, I can basically run through the whole team, defending is so shit in this game, the physical aspect of the football game is just not there, just random tackles to finish off a player. There are some good things about the game but overall it's dull. I would end this with I will try FIFA again once it stops holding my hands and let me fully control the players and not feel cheated.

Oh ok I think maybe I misunderstood you.

What I would like to do (I used to do this on the PS2) is start an International Cup with 32 Human players. Then at the start of each match I want to make one of the teams CPU controlled.

For example the first fixture could be Player 1 'Italy' v Player 2 'Wales'. I pick the players and formations for each team. Then I start the match, pause it, and move one controller over so that the team becomes CPU controlled. It will not allow me to move the controller over. If I disconnect the controller it says 'please connect a controlller'.

This is a pain as it works in Exhibition mode but it would be better to have it in Cup Mode. They stopped this since PS3. I think PC users still get 'Free sides select' through a patch.

Also, on a side note, I'm getting totally fed up with pesuniverse and their customer service. I got an email yesterday saying that they are going to give everybody Gold membership because of the delay with the option file. They said I have 48 hours to upgrade. I clicked the link and their website is down. 24 hours later I tried again today and it is still down. I sent an email to their help email address only for it to come back to me saying that the email delivery had failed. It seems that the only way to contact them is via Twitter, but I am not on Twitter.

I will email PayPal now and try to get a refund. I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt yesterday but now I'm getting fed up with them.

Sorry for being lazy and not reading all the old posts, any tips on a good option file at the moment?

Isn't the free side select on PS4 too now? or is it just another lie? Maybe you need two controllers plugged in

Lami, is that you? Heh heh that really confused me. I thought there was two Lami's for a moment.

Yeh no 'free sides select' is a right pain. Playing as different teams in a Cup on PES5 was almost as good as ML for me. I used to roll a dice and the team with the highest score was the team I controlled. It sounds really sad, but it was a great way to get familiar with all the teams. Playing as Saudi Arabia v Germany and needing a win to get out the group made me realise how difficult it was with lower teams back then.

It works on Exhibition mode but I think the CPU won't play as well.

PES World's is pretty ace so far, just remember to only import ~10 teams at a time, then save manually and continue. Otherwise the PS4 is prone to crashing and could lead to your edited stuff being lost.

I can see Bayern in edit teams they gave names and kits but when I go to use them the players are the default Ines in munichs kit? Anyone know what's wrong???

"It's because of people like you that Adm Bhatti and Asim think the PES franchise doesn't need any work": well obviously not...it seems that 95% of the posterin this thread are very, very happy with PES2017 whereas most of us weren't happy with 2016...so it seems that Bhatti and Asim knew very good that things had to change.

I never met Bhatti and Asim, so obviously i'm neutral towards them, but the flack they get is really over the top. Making a video game is a team work. The PES we see is the result of teamwork and Bhatti and Asim are a small part of that team. The real work is done by Japanese people. Did you ever had a professional relationship with Asian people? The cultural difference is huge (i speak Chinese and Japanese and have been in both countries for months).

Finally: "grow up man": a rather cheap shot, don't you think?

You seem as much biased as you claim lonsfenomeno is, but then again, everybody is biased...so am i.

Maybe you could apologize to lonsfenomeno??? Or is that not done???

I think I read somewhere that Live Update needs to be off when you play the game. I'm guessing that is referring to exhibition games?
