I believe one way to do it is to create a new account and assign it as the child of your main account. Both the parent and child account should be able to use the edited data, but I think you must also turn-on a setting to allow the sharing of the data to the child account.

Have you tried doing it with a guest account while the PS4 is offline? I thought someone said that worked too, about 20 pages ago in this thread.

EDIT: Found this which looks like it is the easiest work-around (if it works - I can't test it):

"I have the same problem when I want to play with my son who uses a normal PSN account. To bypass this stupid limitation the second player cannot login before you reach the team selection screen. When you are on this screen and you can see that custom logos are loaded the second player can log in and the "Use of user-generated media is not allowed for your account" message won't appear. Now you can go back to the side selection screen when the second player can chose his side."

So try logging-in the guest accounts only once you get to the side or team select screen (it's not 100% clear which).

Bloody hell people seem a lot more chilled out and reasoned in the PES section of this forum than in the FIFA section. They just seem so personal and ratty over there I'm racking my brains trying to figure out why that is? Perhaps its because FIFA 17 is a shite football game in comparison to PES 2017 and they are actually really frustrated by years of FIFA, but yet so in denial about it?

The PES section is generally a lot older I think, with age comes maturity.

I hear ya, but the sad thing is I think many of them over there are of the adult age. Yet they're giving it some serious front over games like they're 20 stone Danny Dyer's whenever people question the gameplay of a rival computer game.

You also have defending corner strategies on the d-pad. Man-mark, zonal or a mix. Sometimes it pays using certain strategies against certain teams. Take into account the size of their players and aerial ability. If its a team of big physical units. Man United have Fellaini, Smalling, Ibrahimovic and Pogba for instance. Who are all a threat. Go zonal and try to win the ball before they can meet it in the air. If you're playing against a team of smaller players, man mark and out muscle them.

Don't forget the shoot button is also the clear button. Sometimes its best to just clear it away, rather than being cute about it. I've tried powering up a header a way to find one of my players with circle and before I can head it I've been beaten to the ball and conceded.

Well, I really like the game to the point that I am bit concerned about future updates that might miss it up. In the beginning I was comparing the full game to the demo and I was not aware what's in store as far as how good the final version is. Surprisingly, league games are where this game shines , unlike previous versions where I found exhibition games to be better. I am really impressed by the gameplay , which makes pes 2016 a bad product

Yep they just need to leave the gameplay alone now. Its fine. PES 2016 was decent and I saw improvements in the game from the last time I played Pro Evo (before my sabbatical from modern games) but it wasnt quite enough to win me back, so I reluctantly found myself playing FIFA 16. But I was never really satisfied at any point with that either. I played it because, well, it was just there really. An easy shag.

PES 2016 was a pretty woman, but very stiff in bed. You werent thrilled to go back for much more after that first round. Bit of a wet fish.

PES 2017 is also a pretty woman however, but this one will do it all for you in bed. Whatever you like and she's game for anything and coming back for more is not even up for debate.

If you want to play properly with mates offline, you will have to create subaccounts for children for each one with your main account and allow user specific data.
Once the sub account is registered and verified (email adress necessary) you can create A new PSN account using the same email adress.
AND the sub accounts have to be logged in PSN, otherwise the error occurs again ;)
 
while i was playing my serie B master league I was home to Ascoli who had signed 79 rated Osvaldo as a free transfer and he was a bit of a handful for my 64 and 68 rated CB's but the amount of times he was left frustrated amused me he clearly was on another level to his team mates in one situation it was 2 on 1 vs my centerback and he tried to play a 1-2 he laid if off made his run but the AI player had already made a run ahead too wanting it through and the chance was gone Osvaldo threw his arms up is disgust lol and to top it off they subbed him 2 minutes later

it actually was a good example of the difference in players ratings Osvaldo was trying to get moves going and getting into good positions but his team were letting him down
 
Multiplayer issue:

I fixed the multiplayer issue by using the second account and started the game....the error media message will appear, and i just go in to the editor and create a saved data. Go out of the game, start it up by using your normal account where u got the option file. Even with both controllers on the error message wont appear as the game feels both accounts got saved data, but as u start the game with the option file data, thats the one that will be used
 
Convinced someone to have a couple of games on it earlier. Someone that played Pro Evo in its heyday, but played FIFA for many years now. His immediate thoughts were that the game was really responsive to control again and its really good. Reminds him of those great games on PS2 again.

I noticed playing this game, it takes one game, two games maximum, to fall for it and realize what its all about. You connect with it virtually straight away.

Watching him play, right away he was thinking more about what to do with the ball and how to create chances. Even playing longballs and trying to hold it up. His playstyle and way of thinking dramatically changed from his mindset when playing FIFA. You cant just expose flaws and abuse phases of play. You have to really think about how to play and slow right down. FIFA being very end to end in comparison.
 
Me and my lad played yesterday and the option file wouldn't work with guest controller in a 1v1 game. So I had to re-start game and get to match screen. When the controller screen came up we turned 2nd one on and it was fine from there.

Been going through stuff you have been linking and downloading teams. Just had a message that it's full. I need to delete some images. It's pity it wasn't unlimited. Been playing with national teams, the strips are excellent
