PES 2017 PlayStation & Xbox Discussion Thread

I played about 2 hours of FIFA this morning, and played this for the rest of the day.

I've had so many exciting games in my Master League. Still need to do some tweaking to my tactics.

I'm starting to lean towards playing 442 more. I noticed that when I was chasing games I would switch to 442 and I would usually get more goals. I'm guessing it's just the way I play.
 
Really struggling to keep going with this game now. Can't score for shit, can't even create chances. Crosses are pointless - every single one headed away. Quick passing makes no difference because AI tackles me from behind whenever I get near goal. Long shots are a waste of time because the keepers have every angle covered.

Lost my enthusiasm for this.

You'll have bad spells. I played for almost three hours earlier today and scored one bloody goal! Was fuming. A lot if it down to sluggish team form, for whatever reason, but you never play well when frustrated, so i should've quit before I did. Full manual passing just proved to be too tough for me in league mode. I can do it just fine in exhibition matches though, so that's a bit odd.

No, no. PES is dead I tell you!

Fucking fantastic stuff happening this year. Imported the WEHK file and played my first match as Argentina v. Belgium at the Bombanera at daytime and it looked glorious.

The lads are doing a great job with the option files .. . Pes is looking healthy this year.

Go figure, I just downloaded and installed their current version today! No regrets though, it looks awesome. Game won't let me load in the competition logos though, says there is no room. Not sure what's up with that.

Ezro on Pesgaming uses 1024 size option files .. eveything fits in fine.
 
Does anyone know if any of the non English commentary teams shout out in a south American style "GOOOOOOOOOOOOO GO GO GO GO GOAAAAAAALLLLL!"
kind of way at all?
 
I can live without the Bundesliga. Its unfortunate. But I'd rather let Konami do the squad work for me without any issues or constantly having to reimport created content. I'm just using a file for teams in the game and it looks brilliant. Hi-res kits and great gameplay to match, plus I can download live updates and not worry. Only really missing Bayern, but oh well. Konami not going to support updates for created teams. Understandable. But it will have a knock on effect for people that have imported new teams. Databases will differ.

My goal for this year is to try and get kits as accurate as possible. Although I have the kits at the moment, one or two do have minor errors in terms of ankle tape and undershorts colours. But as we go on, this stuff will get ironed out I'm sure. The community is buzzing about the game this year and taking it really serious in terms of the edit mode again. Pro Evo aint had this sort of buzz around it since probably PES 6.

Chuffed to bits with the gameplay. Really taken me back to the glory days. Finally we have somethimg thats up there with the PS2 generation of Pro Evo's. Looks the part, plays the part.

You can really play some beautiful stuff and you feel in complete control over the football you play again. Its tight, crisp and very slick. Dont take it for granted folks. Been a long time coming. I hope and pray Konami keep doing what they're doing. They are on the right track. Just please never go back to the doldrums of 2008 to 2013/14.
