Adam_Bhatti: Who the hell makes these rumours we will have 30 after data packs, 28 at launch.
Someone: @Adam_Bhatti Hey Adam, Only 5 licensed stadiums at launch? That cannot be right can it?

30 stadiums so, i don't care if 22 stadiums will be "generic", until there will includes many different styles of architecture, to assign for some teams, if they're not already assigned.
What is missing in every PES is little stadiums with 5000 place for exemple.
If that's the case well i'll be satisfied, having true full representation of an Old Trafford is another level, but it's fine to have many "lookalike" that you can change nets/color/pattern etc.
That looks good indeed. It adds a lot to the uniquenes of each stadium.
Imo stadiums >>>> club licenses
Club licenses is "fixable" with option files, and this year we can add a lot of kits done by community. I hope its also fast and user friendly this time.
We're having a few steps behind us like judging trailers, analyzing gameplay videos, collecting info about licenses, disappointment about PC hardware specs and ranting about it and so on.
Can't wait for the demo period.
Creating accounts to get it earlier, claiming differences between US, Japanese and Euro versions :p
This is so often overlooked. I'd rather they focused on the gap between the pitch and the stands, goal nets (most people can tell a stadium by just looking at the pitch/goals), and other unique identifiers from each ground.
I can understand it for tiny (<5,000 capacity) stadiums, as the tiny stands would be entirely visible when a player blasts a shot over the bar.
Most of us hardcore effers who buy this each year don't really care about things other than gameplay, problem is, we are not the ones that are making Konami enough money to keep making these games
Lots of interceptions there. Passing is not like the videos from PESDAY2, it looses speed, its not so direct and fast, defences in midfield are more organized, match is more tatical.

i posted a comment (#3722) about the licensed brazil league
after that KONAMI removed those 3 leagues info from the website...
maybe i should modify my comment as unconfirmed first
probably not yet for KONAMI to reveal those licenses yet
Gamescome build is definetly different from PESDAY2 build and its also better:
Passing doesnt feel too direct and fast, ball loose speed in its trajectory, making that transition from defence to attack not so easy and fast.
Also, midfeld plays a lot more organized and recomposes better, AI also anticipates better to those long passes to attack.
I saw Mascherano anticipating to a long pass dorect to Girou twice. Midfield defenders are really doing their job anticipating to opponents passes.
One interesting thing I saw on this video was Mascherano pass at 0:52: he overhits passing wich made even Messi struggle to control the ball. Really nice. Thats what we all want to see more often.

I don't think it's about laziness, I think it's about the amount of budget they have. Konami know it only sells to a certain crowd, but it sells to them no matter what, so why invest in it? They're not thinking "spend money to make money", especially not with fierce competition. They're thinking "spend a little, make a lot".
.. Some really good news today. Really happy from what weve seen from Gamescom. As much as I hate the animations (hopefully something they can work on for 2018), I have to say the new vids do look promising (helps that they are are in 60fps). They really highlight the fluidity of the game and for me some of the biggest improvements from last year, ie. much improved ball physics, and keepers. Also, defending looks more op than attacking, and for me thats a big plus. I also noticed some errors (touch and passing) which is a bonus...If they can just increase the touch, passing, and shooting errors/variations a bit more, than we'll have something. The demo cannot come soon enough...
Those videos look fantastic. The defending freak-out animations are not to be seen at all. They are controlled, they are jogging into position versus wind-sprinting into position. This is a very good sign.
Nice finally catching up on the trailer which looks GREAT but I will admit FIFA do trailers that much better even though it doesn't seem to translate to what you actually get from the game.
I am genuinely upset at the loss of licenses like my favourite La liga. I suspect Konami are digging deep in their pockets to rather get big teams and not try small leagues. Sorry state of affairs in this respect imo. Great news about BVB pity it means we lose a fully licensed BAYERN.
