PES 2017 - PC Version Discussion Thread

And as "he" has no current connection with PC platform I think we have read and seen enough.Dont debate it here.

I couldn't get the payment working this time (I've ordered from them in the past), yes they're a good site and good customer support with cheap prices. And yes the Steam India version is region locked, needs VPN to gift or activate as well as to play, I use split tunnelling so Steam gets VPN and the rest of the PC (and PES) gets my normal connection.

Thanks for replying man. If you mean if everything is properly set up it is, I'm testing stick controls and they are responsive enough settings for PES before I start the game. Or did you mean something else?

Might also be the bluetooth adapter , the cheap ones are known to be flaky compared with the more expensive recommended ones.

Thanks for a reply. I'm using USB cable to connect DS4 and also did try on other PC/system. And the only thing that comes to my mind is trying 32 bit system. Because the last time I was without this issues were on an old computer and Windows xp 32bit.
For exp when I try a game on PS3 for earlier PES version it's a night and day and those issues respond. I trash my friends. But when we play on PC and I'm using analog sticks they win every duel, every header. Their players just seam more responsive and more aggressive. (I hope that makes sense)

Amazing ... how they do it? Each year, the online mode is becoming worse and worse, it's "talent" .... Do not understand ... this is the most important part, that's why anyone buy FIFA, but Konami stubbornly refuses to make a good online mode ... For the thousandth time I say that no matter how good the gameplay, if you do not have a good online mode , everything is worthless.

I was trying to download a patch from them for 2016 and it was a disaster, ad link after ad link + random spyware popups and everything. Gave up in the end, it's a joke.
 

You mentioned you use the controller's own proprietary config software to setup your controllers, unless I interpret your original message wrongly, if so, let me know. What I meant is instead of that, have you used PES own settings file to configure your controllers? i.e. In the same directory of your PES exe file, there is a file called "settings", opening it up will let you access a whole range of configuration options like resolution, graphic detail and controller setup. What was the patch? Maybe I can help! One thing that might be worth doing is installing this: https://adsbypasser.github.io/ just installed it but haven't tested it, requires Greasemonkey. The ad pages I especially detest are the ones with a countdown that only countdown when you're sat looking, if you try to pass the time reading another tab it pauses, how do they ever think people will buy products being advertised in such an obnoxious way???
 
Meet a situation in demo where CPU ai make a indirect direct free kick from yellow box, the ball goes out of play without anyone to touch it. I recreate the situation two more times intentionally, the result repeats. Top Player difficulty. Almost like pes 2016 if i recall.

Anyone having similiar situation ? How about in the full version ? It is just frustrating just to know beforehand that cpu ai will miss. :(

Thanks for offer but it was only to tide me over until 17 was out :) Will definitely look into the adsbypasser though, cheers!

All these PES patches / downloads behind paywalls / ad links makes me want to put what I do with my day job to good use and throw together a site to bypass all the nonsense introduced by these third party sites.

Yeah, sorry. I posted from work. I really HATE those crappy ad links and I'm convinced they filled with malware. I didn't realise, I just saw that it was there.
 
Also to those people cribbing that the CPU AI only scores low shots to the corner I got beat by Hull City last night with a screamer to the top corner. I wasn't happy but it was some goal! I forget the player now.

Tampermonkey is handy for getting rid of facebook ads and shit, works on pornhub too ;)

Kind of works on these annoying paywall ads, but it's not perfect.

Back on topic

I am getting random stutters in game, even with freesync, i have switched to borderless full screen and i am still getting the stutters....Could be denuvo related to could be the sound streaming that has always been a problem in PES.

Overall i like the game, I had to turn the speed down to -1, has i could not score for monkeys on it, crossing was just too fast to react to.

On -1 the game feels great, no input lag for me....knocking the speed down helps with more controlled build up play, and generally feel more sim like.
 
I found out what was making the game lag for me, it was Opera open in the background with a few tabs open.
Runs really nicely with nothing else open!
Really struggling on ML, i'm sochaux in Ligue 2. Played about 9 and won 2! Finding it hard to get power on the headers, really enjoying it though.
 
-1 speed is perfect for me too. The more I play it, the more I'm enjoying it. I have had some great games so far.

Same here, especially when players are packed in midfield the game slows down a bit.. really annoying haven't found a fix yet. Playing on medium does the trick but it makes the graphics bad.

If you or the CPU uses Gegenpress than it's going to stutter like mad. So angry about this. Windowed mode on medium reduces it but it doesn't stop it. I tries to use that FPS software recommended on the previous page but it definitely didn't make it any better.
