Kickoff bug is still there and around the edge of the box I can still take my finger off the sprint button and waltz through the opposition.
Do Konami not realise this is a problem or are they okay with it?
I played online again yesterday. Was 3-0 up and against 10 men from early on. I thought it was going to be an easy victory especially when the other guy didn't bother putting a player in place of his CB. Shock horror, there was no difference. His team were getting every loose ball and my players were stuck in the mu and couldn't control run or pass anymore.
He managed to pull back 2 quick goals and I decided to stop holding and rather pump long balls on the counter and grabbed another vital goal when I sent a ball through his defensive line on the halfway line.
Here's the mindfuck I have come to realise about PES online - playing better passing and ball retention is a liability. This game is made for people who can't pass for shit but can spam long passes to wingers and back in to strikers with great success.
The amount of tweets I have sent to Konami with screen grabs or guys with sub 40 % possession and under 70% pass accuracy whipping me senseless is shocking.
I sound like a dick now but these guys have little skill and couldnt string 5 passes together but they get the wins.

You can get a good hard game out of PES 2016 if you set high pressure tactics to the AI. Its still full of flaws and issues buts its not just an easy arcade game like with default tactics.
Not in anyway saying this is good enough, its that it was the first times i played vs Bayern with the tactics i tested out and gave them and was happy the tron running wasn't working and i actually had a hard challenge.

Euro 2016 DLC (free) will be out on March 24 2016 and it will also be released as a standalone version on April 21st 2016.
Just 15 of the teams will be licensed (France, England, Wales, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Czech, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey, Albania, Iceland and Northern Ireland). Stade de France will be added and Euro 2016 "icongraphy and presentation elements" will also be added. Source: PESfan

Half an update, then.
It seems like that's the recurring theme with Konami, we get half a game (no transfer updates), half a transfer update (missing the crucial final week of transfers), half the fucking gameplay... Come on Konami, give your franchise more than half a chance to shine.
EDIT: Eurogamer have confirmed it too. Eurogamer: PES 2016's Euro 2016 DLC only has 15 officially licensed teams

Yup I honestly don't know why Konami are bothering with this if they can't release an authentic version.
The worst of it is that some unsuspecting parents will end up buying the standalone version for their kids not knowing that it does not include all of the team kits or the stadiums.
15 teams are fully licensed, but the other teams are also partly licensed, only kits are fake.

With there being one stadium, what's going to happen? All games in the one stadium? I wouldn't have thought they'd have got away with some matches being played in random and/or fake stadiums. "Welcome to Old Trafford, France for this exciting Euro 2016 game"...
There's people on Eurogamer and other places wondering if the game will come with a qualification mode. It just makes me laugh. You're getting a stadium, some kits and the scoreboards will change to look like the pretty little ones they use on TV, seriously lower your expectations guys...

Quick gameplay/tactics question... Does anyone know how I can stop my fullbacks boming forward and overlapping at every opportunity? I'm set to all out defence and players in defence as 'many' with possession game and players in attack as 'normal' and I can't quite stop it... Needs to be more balanced in when to attack

Lol at guys who thinked that it will be all stadiums. PES production don't have as much workforce, Konami prefers to send their employees on others (shitty) Pachinko and mobile games.

The game will feature full iconography and presentation elements from the football tournament
It will also boast the unique playing styles replicated by the Player ID and Team ID systems, mimicking the styles of the players and teams on the pitch.

I secound accept Hardlock's Gameplay or Yair to be official released throw konami.

There is one thing about that DLC announcement that is actually good. I just checked all the 24 national teams in the current build and there are 9 national teams with fake player names. All other teams are either licensed or have correct player names due to the FIFPro license. But all of those 9 teams with fake player names are going to be licensed in the new DLC, so actually all players participating at the Euro 2016 will be licensed.
FIFA 12's Euro 2012 DLC in comparison only had 15 out of 16 teams with correct player names and even less teams with correct kits.
I guess KONAMI are trying to minimise costs and since kits can be imported anyway, it is possible to recreate all teams even on the PS4.
The lack of stadiums is disappointing, though.

That's actually good news, hopefully those licenses will be utilised in future PES iterations... Guarantee they were placeholder player names waiting for the license acquisition to come through
The only reason I am waiting the upcoming DLC is to see if there are gameplay tweaks as always with every new update/patch. With hopes for fixing the "one man army" going through the whole defense problem and the always low shots from the CPU + floaty/slow motion keeper dive problems( i highly doubt this will be fixed ).

totally agree. let's say PES team is small or busy, not able to build all 10
I don't understand how it's not possible to make at least 2 or 3 stadiums
let's say Parc des Princes or Velodrome are exclusive to FIFA
what about others : Bordeaux or Lyon (build for 2016)
let's hope for last minute changes (another DLC during May/June)

Can't believe they're actually spending the money to print the cover art and produce the physical copies for such a minimal update.
Yes, their attacking pattern is not that bad. At least it is not always high through passes, without any back passes..
How the other things can be fixed - for example making other type of shots based on player position and foot planting, also involving the player accuracy stats and some random % for what the shot type would be.
But the shooting in PES 2016 is a bit overpowered and too accurate in general. There are mostly no too wide, or too over the bar shots from the CPU. So firstly this have to be tweaked.

Believe me GeladoBom, just look at Konami's PES buildup before release. They went heavily after known Fifa celebs/players.
