PES 2016 News & Discussion Thread

I don't think he knows if Pc version will be based on Ps4 version or not, but i have this bad feeling it won't be. That's such a shame because Pes 2015 Pc version sold still a good amount without being properly next gen.

With a little more effort they could make Pc the second best selling platform after Ps4.

What i don't like mostly in PES 2015 and i saw it clearly in yesterday videos, is the poor footplanting, the skating and bad transition between animation.

Here is an example from PES 2015. If this isn't a major issue KONAMI have to fix, then they should take out their motto "the pitch is ours".

Everyone loves PES 5 & 6

I talked a lot about how the demise after these games was inevitable because Konami simply didn't plan to make heavy investments in future titles. It happened for a reason, it was no accident and there is little point using that as a mean to justify your constant negativity because it's not as good as it could be.

Life is way too sort to spend so much energy talking negativity on games you enjoy less and less every year, your well set in the mentality to look for faults on why this isn't as good rather than even try to master the game first to find things you enjoy.

You seem to be a extremely negative person in general, who seems to have a 'victim' complex, as if Konami owe you a game, to the extent you seem to have forgotten that you play the games for way they are and enjoy whats there. When i read you posts, it always strikes me that its like you want people to feel sorry for you and your plight.

I really think you need to ask yourself if football gaming is worth it anymore and find other things to do in your time, it can't be healthy to be that negative all the time.

A LONG timeage i think you should of just opened your mind up, said fuck this shit, and found a new, better hobby! What your doing, i don't think its working.

They have got a point that the shooting needs to be more rewarding. One should have to position the body right, to get the ball on the right foot, to use the right amount of power... at the right timing... Goalshooting needs to be less automated and the goalkeepers need to be a more adept by being able to stretch their arms more and being more reactive.

Only then will there be more variation and more satisfaction.

Nah, like last year he will be playing the game of cautious optimism and seem quite mellow and focus on issues more than positives.

Once Gamescom hits he'll be full of praise.

I'm sure we won't see much or any superstar difficulty until around gamescom. The guys who review the game are always people who a bonafide gamers who aren't good at football games.

Asmir will probably hold back and play on a lower difficulty because i have a big feeling the game is practically finished now and they will want to keep the best parts of the gameplay under wraps until as late as possible.

IGN will release a video next week which show the full gameplay (it will show Brazil vs Germany and will be the matches shown in that 1 minute preview teaser) IGN will talk about it probably with Adam or Asmir or whoever. Thing is if Konami are happy to show the gameplay off in full at such an early stage it shows the game isn't bug ridden and things have gone smooth in development this year.

This is a hype train which will 'build' momentum rather than just hit us with as much as possible whenever.

I think you should leave this sort of psychology-reading out of this thread and keep that opinion to yourself. To say he should just give up on football-games is nonesense for football fans. There are people that love football and want to play football-games because of it and currently there are only two football games, so the options are limited.

This is a football-game-thread and there will always be people that long for that next great version of it and offer suggestions what should change to get closer to it. That's part of the fun, and even if there will be disappointment, that's part of the deal and none of your business. So how about you stop patronizing people here and concentrate on the game and its discussion instead?

There many things i want in life also but i can't have. I like a sexy girlfriend with a huge booty but life doesn't always work like that!. He may want to play football games but if he ain't enjoying them, whats the point moaning all the time and seeing only the negatives.

I think its very wrong your post, very wrong, there is far more to life out there than just football games! This guy doesn't even seem like a football game enthusiast, he just sounds like someone who comes here solely to moan, for years and years and years.

This is a football-game-thread and there will always be people that long for that next great version of it and offer suggestions what should change to get closer to it. That's part of the fun, and even if there will be disappointment, that's part of the deal and none of your business. I'm blunt, we live in a word where people just want everyone to agree with them all the time as if they are always right. If someone for years and years posts negativity all the time on a forum for a game he's supposed to enjoy, you have to wonder why he bothers if it's troubling the guy so much and if he will be better of doing something else.

Sorry, i really don't like your attitude here as if people who moan are immune to an alternate opinion. A persons wellbeing is more important than video gaming pleasure. There is much more to life than just sitting infront of a screen all day.
 
none of the sports games should be played manual at all, unless its for the Wii. PES should be stats based i dont want to play like every move fully depends on me or on my slippery fingers on a hot day. i want to play with Pirlo, with Ibra see their skills, not mine at all

Just use 1 bar then? Its not full manual it's just harder and the passing is more free, 3 bars is very, very limited in regards to passing.

If you don't like full manual, use 1 bar where stats still count but you have the freedom to use guys like Pirlo better and put balls into space as they do.

Your another exactly like him who falls in everything i say, always super negative with both FIFA and PES in every single post, never contributes little or anything at all. Just a first class moaner and probably can't even play the games well these days since you don't really like them much anymore, so your not going to even invest time in them. Its just a recipe for disaster.

I haven't attacked him, could you point out where i attacked him? I've just given him my advice, i felt its an opinion he needed to hear. Its up to him if he even bothered what i post, he can disagree or ignore me, it's his choice to see what i wrote and decide.

One thing i don't think you understand all the issues you guys talk about, i see them too, its just you guys are determined at times for everyone to agree with you and if you can't find things you like you make sure to try and make others as upset with things as you are.

All I said was if you don't like the game and haven't liked it for, so long now, almost 10 years? Why bother, and you still haven't replied to a very simple question.

Your the one being rude saying i have a problem? What only problem i see is i don't agree with your constant negativity its just baffles me.

What exactly do you like doing? I mean just show me any positive post you done in the last year!

If you where actually positive for once, i'd think a lot more people would see you point and understand you.

This crazy, all you need to do is just talk about what you like and look for in football games which have been seen in previous versions, but you decide to turn this into some argument.

and thats where ballphysics should come in to play...good ballphysics, then no one would use manual to dig his head into the sand, saying 2015 okay. too bad 2016 ballphysics looks pretty much the same so far, on rails, in a ball game. thats my only concern.

Even with good ball physics like FIFA has, if passes are lazer guided to opposition, your going to get repetitive outcomes because there just not enough variables preventing passes from always being accurate. Manual i think has changed how passes work in PES so the 3 bar settings is far easier than the one passing standard we used to have.
 
I buy this year PS4 and first game will be Pes2016, because from trailers game look so smooth. I played Pes2015 alot on pc and one main reason i dont like it, is goal scoring so repetative and with zero exitment. Pes 2016 look not so basic ,because players collision and emotions. If pes 2016 let me down i always can choose Fifa 16(Ultimate team mode).
 
There is only one real option for passing bars in PES. Zero bars. Anything above that, the AI will make some crazy assumptions that you wanted to play to some other dude than the one you clearly aimed for. I have tried to play above zero and I find it impossible.

Anyway, the full reveal might actually be a bit fuller than what I expected, but it's still pretty limited. It would be nice to have some real "Wow!"-moments in the stuff that has been shown but to be fair, the last time PES did a revolution (2014) it went pretty wrong.

PES 2015 is pretty solid though, I still play it all the time and have a ton of fun with Cardiff in the Master League, even if I'm struggling in the prem now.

And I think we should have a seperate thread for "I will quit PES forever if it is shit again this year" because how many friggin years in a row are you going to say that? Just leave it already. Go play something else.
 
Just to inform all of you guys, I heard that the full IGN gameplay video will be showed next tuesday.

Lets hope that they show it in different condictions, in different official stadiums, night and day matchs, rain and etc.

Expecting them to show a manual Gameplay is asking too much tho.
 
As ever, it's edit mode I'm waiting for, but I was very excited from the trailer. Not that to be honest 15 needs anything major doing to it in terms of gameplay, it's essentially a very good base to build on.

Loved the bit in the trailer breakdown where they showed Brazil's keeper making two blocks in quick succession, I'm liking what I'm hearing about extra stats and abilities for keepers.
 
i like what i've seen so far, but ONLY if this would be included in the pc version too.

:APPLAUD: that's why i try FIFA every year and usually give up after a month or two but i don't go and try to make it my job to convince the world it sucks.
