PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

lol, this thread is like a stockchart.

First bears taking it down, one starts others follow, then one bull gets it up a lil (Lami in this case) and others follow :LOL:

Unfortunately I didn´t have much time playing the demo properly.
I guess I made around 10 - 15 games (WE Demo PS3 version).
Might be able to play a few games tonight.

At first I wasn´t exalted really but it grew on me with every game.

I agree to a few negative statements here like the passing, ball physics on low passes and that damn ugly ass ball...lol.
Please, that ball looks like the ones you can buy in a 99 cent store.
It might not be as ugly as the blue one from PES 2008 but it´s still damn ugly.

The new cheering animations, also the one with the crowd, look ok to me.
Last time Robben scored a penalty against me and ran through his team giving everybody a clap. That looked real nice!
I like them a lot better than the ones in the other game, when they run around, waiting for you to pull off a special move.

I really hope that in these two months the devs work on the negatives and don´t mess up the positives.
With these guys, you never know.

Btw, wasn´t it stated that there will be more visuals and animations in the full game or am I misinterpreting something?
 
Having tried out the ps3 version today after a few days on the ps4 I would go for the ps3 version.
The ps4 game offers nothing at all I can see over the ps3 aversion part from costing more.
Pitch looked better on ps3 version as well, PS4 next gen not a chance
Maybe I need a trip to specsavers
Think Konami have done really well with the ps3 game this year, ps4 = pass
that and no option files swings it for me
 
Played Fifa lastnight


I want to rip the gameplay and player models out not the ball physics just the gameplay and then stick PES2015 in there.

I then want to take Ai from another game altogether and stick that in there and maybe APES2011 tactical settup with the time scenarios and create the greatest football game known to man

That's why it doesn't work. The header mechanic seems to be broken on anything other than basic.

If you switch to basic shooting, they header the ball just fine.

They really need to fix that and bring back square + triangle for low shots.

Headers work fine in manual , contrary to the PES 2014 demo
 
Am I the only one having issues with the player switching, where the player stutters before moving, and also issues with the sprinting, some players seem to refuse to sprint properly, its SO frustrating!!

Really glad the delay has been done this year. 2 months to tweak and get it good.
Theres a good game underneath somewhere just hope these 2 months Konami can add a bit of spit and polish. I really want PES to come back to its glory but not sure it ever will.

I've been enjoying it more the last couple of days after a week of apathy. Shooting on manual and passing on zero bars works for me in the demo. Could be a very good game that harkens back to PES of yore if Konami clean it up a bit before release.

I have it too with the player switching. It needs work. I'm not optimistic though as I think player switching in PES has been a bit dodgy for years now.
 
Stamina is a big issue for me, I've played games where Pirlo is almost empty just before halftime even though he barely runs. Also in each game around 75 minutes in all my players get tired and can barely run and or get some separation from an opponent.

I'm a patient player, I actively conserve energy and I only sprint if the situation requires it. This is frustrating.

Konami should just copy the NBA 2K stamina system.

The gameplay has a lot of potential but the lack of midfield battle is another big issue, maybe it'll be different vs a human.

On PS3 what's the deal with shooting? The players take an extra second before shooting. It's also weird seeing some players run like Robben/Lennon.

I also think the tactics have taken a step back, the layout isn't clear and why did they remove the sliders?

Finally I love chest passes and when will they bring back the wingback position :BRICK:

I was gutted when the screen loaded for my first game. Especially after last years PS3 version looked so good. It looks like a bad turf patch that someone has knocked up.

The replays looks quality, but the game itself is spend mostly looking at an awful pitch

That annoyed me so much in PES 2014...very sad to hear it still exists...

I hope so dude!! For me it's a big point putting me of the game!! The pens and free kicks I'm loving! If they can just sort the heading and one Touch striking on goal this game will be great!!

Still buying FIFA? I just can't figure out how some folks can play both games. I can't. Never could.

Changed my mind now. Was tempted today but I won't :)

Can't do both in all honesty. Gotta choose one and stick with it to learn and master.

How many games you played? Slowly growing on me also, still quite not there as of yet. Challenging...
 
This game player vs player really remindes me of the good old days.

It's balanced enough to give equal chances to different Play styles if you pick the right team em set the right formation.

Ive been playing against my brother whos very experienced player in football games, the type that is very addicted to online matchs and like to use exploits. Ive been playing in manual passing against assisted and finally I Think I can keep ball possession with Barca and slow build up, dealing with his high pressue on my half, something that was unthinkable with pes2011 wich was the Last game that we used to Play against each other.

For player vs player match, This is game can be really, really good and it resembles the good old days.

Are you playing on an old TUBE TV or have some visual impairment? These are the only reason i can imagine for someone to say that sees no difference from the PS4 and PS3 versions.

I love to see hardcore pes fans like you having a good time with a new pes game.

We could say that at least we are going to have a very decent game this year.

Sure there are things that can be ímproved, but now I Think Konami has a good base.

Have you played a player vs player game yet ? It can be very fun, it brought me back to the ps2 days

I'm excited to organize a minor tournament with my brother and my cousins like the old days.
 
Downloaded the ps4 and Xbox one demo resolution not as good definitely on the Xbox one have both systems so not slagging off.

But metal gear demo was only 900p on xbox one also disappointed

But demo not bad and I hear this is an earlier build than gamescom so hopefully better at launch.

ps4 is on a 40 lcd at 1080p the ps3 is on a monitor at 720
if you think the ps4 version is next gen quality then it's you that's got the vision problems :BLEH:
A slight graphics upgrade over an old system is not the way forward
the game plays and looks just as good on ps3

Ok, i respect your opinion than. I tried to play the demo on PS3 but it played exactly like the crap of 2014. For me the PS4 is next-gen quality enough to justify me buying it, specially when it´s so fun to play it. :SMUG:
