PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

I would rather have unrealistic first touches which keep the game flowing and responsive. Rather than super realistic first touches which make the game slow and unresponsive, like the past 8 years.
Remember the power of pes has always been the great mixture of arcade and simulation. Some aspects of the game should be arcade and some should be simulation.

i'm all for responsive gameplay too, that's what made pes great, and i don't think realistic first touches would kill the flow of the game, just make it more of a challenge

i think it has a lot to do with the ball physics, looks way too easy to receive passes and immediately sprint

The ball physics does look easy on occasion but I think its more to do with the mentality of the player, the quality of the teams/players has nothing to do with it.

He should definitely get a job at KONAMI just as allot of people who are into editing and option files.

amazed at the lack of response to Weddens latest video, it's awesome, Konami should ABSOLUTELY hire his services, he does a better job than Konami ever have with their trailers...

Looks quite good this judging by the recent videos.

The keepers parrying shots straight out happened a few too many times though but other than that it looks a whole lot better than the last one.

Great example of how good goalnet physics give that extra 'cherry on the pie' feeling which makes this goal of Willian more beautiful.

Look how the ball behaves in the top corner. Aaaah sweet!
In this case the net acts really realistic, but I think there's still much more room for improvement.

Congrats to Weedens! He is now collaborating with Konami France. It's about time they use someone with actual video editing talent.

What I've always disliked about PES replays is how abruptly they stop. Normally the ball hasn't even come to a stop in the net and in some occasions hasn't even hit the ground before the replay stops. It takes something away from the goal for me. How hard can it be to let it run on a bit longer?

Yeah I agree. I've tried doing a couple of goal compilations from the saved goal replays and it's frustrating. I'd love to see the celebration start too but you can only do that if you're capturing it separately. That's what I'm looking forward to on the new consoles. And the other thing, is that the replay speed was hard to get consistent if all you wanted to do was play it back at normal speed. Normal speed should be default and then if you want to speed it up or slow it down (for whatever reason??) then you can modify it.

.. Im not a fan of the replays fullstop. They have been crap for years.. only about 5 or so crappy preset angles.. back in the pes6 days they still had the preset views, but you could manually zoom in or out etc.

Also.. still cant believe you cannot control your own celebrations ala fifa. Even as an option... flexibility in games are big sellers.. obviously once the basics are done well.

I love this site and am glad I joined lol. So when there is nothing to bash about the game, ppl turn to nets, when they get tired they turn to replays? Lmao! I love u guys man :D

To be fair fifa's goal celebration is over the top most of the times with retarded celebration like u r in the circus. Dont mind having the players doing their own unique designated goal celebration that is their trade mark, or creating a player and giving them a pre set goal celebrations.

Yeah I don't want controllable celebrations but being able to assign your own is cool :) It feels more organic to just watch the game do its thing instead of running around in circles to annoy someone.

here are the fifa celebrations.

Dont mean to start a war but would like to point out, why is it when same glitches as fifa is found on pes, ppl kill konami for it, yet EA gets away with it. I.e players move way too awkward. Just look at lewandowski. And player's hands go thru each others body too, no diff to pes.

I also prefer the PES celebrations to FIFA's system...my son loves that...he does the most crazy thing with them, makes me laugh all the time...so basically what i'm sayingis that it is a good thing that both systems exist and that sums up the whole FIFA/PES "thing", let them exist together...

even though some PES celebrations are weird as well (Neymar in PES 2014), but it's authentic as they've done it themselves before...others like Raul's kissing the ring, Pato's heart, Rooney's glide...those are actual celebrations that are done by the actual players, thus i'd like that authenticity part.

Manual takes that out and lets people do stupid stuff which some enjoy, but I don't...
