PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Asim and the other guys keep uploading HD gameplay vids on the channel NextGenGamingBlog, on youtube. watched it all

looks fun. keepers still look crap, i dont care what you say, 80% of the goals are rebound goals. its still like not enough animations for them to prevent rebound goals. they just punch shots left, right, ahead. punching out for a CK is like a miracle in this build. also shot power is a bit too much for long shots, but that could be tweaked easily.

not getting my hopes up

I hope that isn't the case. I'd rather see a lot more variety in goalkeeper animations instead of 1,500 ways for Neymar to nutmeg a player.

Also, is it just my eyes or could there be a softer, more organic looking way for the ball to come of the keeper's hands? The keepers seem to have hands made out of concrete.

They did not give enough details about master league yet, but all we know is they will revamp it and there will be div 2 for better player scouting, and transfers will be improved better than before. Also there will be players from youth academy in each team (not sure if it is for every single team) since they use that fifPro thingy, so u have good chance of getting your, say barca's famous youth academy players. That is what we know so far. Not bad thus far.

Thanks mate.
It sounds pretty good. Really hope they do a good ML this year.

I'm still really worried about the shooting. There doesn't seem to be any sophisticated design in place to make the way you strike the ball that is dependent on your body position or speed. It's clear the game won't be a sim and that's fine (I've been banging on about it not being a sim for ages) but there doesn't look to be any joy in striking a ball in the game. It's almost as if every shot is low, hard and on (or basically on) target when inside the box regardless of how you approach a shot. There's a lot of highlights doing the rounds where a player simply receives a through ball and can smash it without taking needing to take a touch. Now even in an arcade-game there should still be a level of skill required for a player to actually think about what they are doing and for them to feel rewarded for learning how to play the game. The build-up play looks very rewarding but what's the point if there is little reward in doing all of that and hammering B and not feeling as if you were supposed to do something else.

PES has had this problem for many years but PES 2014 was actually a step-up in the shooting department I thought. I'm not sure whether PES 2015 looks to have capitalised on it enough. It still looks too basic even for the style of game it is.

....only night and day games, broken tranfers, hardly any stadia, bare bones really.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this years ML.

Night was garbage anyway. Only day matches and some stadiums look like you're playing in heart of Africa at 12 pm at 60c temp.

Same here, The last proper ML I played was PES2012. I miss it so much, PES2014 was a shambles, only night and day games, broken tranfers, hardly any stadia, bare bones really.

Yeah 2014 was pretty bad i mean how the hell they could make a ML with even features and more problems?? lol

Konami still have to work a lot on their ML.
I hope some day Konami have a owner mode on their franching

And i guess is too late for konami to release some new info on ML this year??

no weather news or screens, no ml news, i´m worried :(
no OF in ps4 its a big gamebrake for me i hope they fix this soon by sony or by konami making an Creation center online

Well for the first time since winning 11 10 (Which I just played two back to back seasons of due to all the vids of pro evo 15 hate calling it pes!! ) so a good 5/6 years out the game but still occasionally having a look on my favourite non porn website this one of course!!

Ok so I've decided it's time for a comeback just bought a ps4 on the back of the recent pro evo 15 vids It looks great to me I have a lot of hope for this game!!! Ooo can anyone tell me if in recent incarnationsim has there ever been an option in ml to move teams like getting an offer at a new club and moving to another League or national side always wanted this in the game?? Thank guys!!

Sounds goods. RE: youth academy players, that means I can recruit Andy Cole's son to the first team, if I was playing as Man City. :))
Considering I spent around 80% of my PES activities in ML, it's a big deal to me :(

Me too.

Yes, in PES 2014 for the very first time you get offerings after every season from other clubs in other leagues.
Same with national teams.

That feature is certainly gonna be in PES 2015 as well.

About the leagues...just wondering, why Konami isnt after (dont know if they tried already) leagues like Scottish league, Belgian League, Football League Championship etc, etc.
Yeah i know that a lot of people dont care about "small" leagues or clubs and the demand is small, but cant be that bad having more options, right??

Is that expensive to make a deal with small clubs and leagues??

I've seen some images where they mentioned about SPL license, not sure if it's just 1 or 2 teams or whether its the full league, time will tell.

I too would like to see something different like the belgian league, turkish league, more variety is good.

As for the Football League Championship, Konami have confirmed they are adding it to PES 2015, but it wont be licensed I believe, will be real players with fake team names I suspect.

Nice...didn't know about that, guess i will take Nottingham Forest back to the glory days :)

And i hope the days of the asian version gets the J-league and the rest of the world dont is over...so sick of this all this years...

Scottish league is in. Turkish league is now EAs property. They adding second division to all existing league like English (unlicensed) Spanish league, ligue 1, Brazilian, Chilean, Argentinian I and Italian league

All of the above is unconfirmed so take it with a pinch of salt.

Oh yes forgot about The Eredivisie as well. Not sure if it will be second division included

I dont think it will, Konami would've mentioned it along with the other 2nd divisions if they had that intention. Jupier League (or Eerste Divisie) is very small in comparison to the 2nd divisions of the other mentioned leagues, in my opinion.

Wonder if Konami are going to code the Segunda (Adelante) league so that it stops Barcelona B from being promoted? I would imagine Barcelona B will be licensed, would make sense as PES2015 supposedly have La Liga licensed still?

Yeah will be interesting.

I thought we would get more news after gamescom
This lack of anything irritates me
They got the award at gamescom and are on everyone's lips and they go back into hiding. As far as I know about marketing is the total opposite of what you should do.

Stay relevant and milk the PR for all its worth moresi you aren't the market leader so no need to build up anticipation

I'm very surprised at the lack of an official trailer, screenshots and such like. They've taken an almost viral marketing approach this year using 'unoffical' videos and images on social media to promote the game. Fine for communities like this where we take a heightened interest in the game and seek anything and everything we can find, but I wonder what this low-key approach has done for the mainstream awareness of PES2015?

The game has got such a positive welcome that every marketing thing would spoil it.
They better come with all sorts of info about the game-modes.
And screenshots? Yes, please, again, from game-modes.

Was chatting to a colleague the other day and was stunned by what he told me as a guy that doesn't frequent these boards.
He reckons he stated off as a pes fan but stopped buying it and moved to fifa because of the mess that was the last gen. No surprises there but then he tells me that he heard that Konami signed some chaps from EA (obviously talking about the guys doing the online updates in the UK) and that PES was back.

Interesting to hear this.

That's good to hear but I'm guessing he must have a fairly keen interest in gaming to know that e.g. follows gaming news sites or listens to podcasts.

For the people that don't 'consume' gaming media all they see is FIFA.
