PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Always same (or worse) complaints every year.

"Nets don't look too good. Too stiff. Too loose."
"Menu is crap. Resembling FIFA. Too boxy."
"Hey look. The grass is not green enough. Also it's too short. Doesn't comply to FIFA rules.
"The referee doesn't use vanishing spray. Not up to date enough."

Nothing wrong with complaining guys, but please, give these guys something to work on, in regards to important things eg: gameplay, league, or even Master League.

I haven't heard a thing about ML this year. Hope they don't stuff it up.

Don't you guys reckon it's better they concentrate on these rather than nets or menus (or every other trivial things)

My 0.02c

They did not give enough details about master league yet, but all we know is they will revamp it and there will be div 2 for better player scouting, and transfers will be improved better than before. Also there will be players from youth academy in each team (not sure if it is for every single team) since they use that fifPro thingy, so u have good chance of getting your, say barca's famous youth academy players. That is what we know so far. Not bad thus far.

MLO sounds wank. You can pay to get the top players out of your own pocket, rather than actually play the game. Look forward to coming up against Messi-Ronaldo superteams.

Why even bring up FIFA? PES looks arcadey, but it looks fun. I'd like a more simulation style game, but that doesn't sell. At least with FIFA, we get sliders and they help a lot (not to the extent I would prefer, but still, enough that dribbling with the joystick is good and first touch error is noticeable with good players and bad players).

I'll enjoy both games for what they are.

Well fifa fans r the problem here. They said they will never play pes if it dont have FUT (MLS online style, but u pay money to buy players, real money.) So Konami obliged, which i think is silly and stupid. Either way I never play ultimate team in fifa and i wont ever, nor on pes too.

I'll bet that on the final cover, Konami will put big-shiny-silly and EA-ish logo like this :

Hey.
I've got a 360 - is it wortth upgrading to an Xbox one to enjoy PES15 better so you think?
Will there be many differences?
which do you think will be better for custom edits and downloads?
Thanks.

If I was u I will stick with 360 as there will be downloadable patches etc. The xb1 has extra features like dynamic lighting and better cloth texture, nitty gritty things like that. So u might as well wait for pes 16 on xb1 which will surely be better and have more stuff added to the game by then to try and utilize xb1 for its power.

Upgrade to a PC or PS4. Steer clear of the Xbox One, at all costs.:BRMM:

Last video is painful to watch..Insane game speed, ping-pong passing and arcade shooting with shitty ball physics, ice-skating moves all over the place...

Yep, so far it looks like a game with no tactical depth, no player stats, ping-pong, arcade action with no fouls, no physical play and an end-to-end frenzy that plays out like a game of basketball. I don't think the "fun" will last long if the videos give a true reflection of how most matches play out in the final game.

I can only hope that when you play with some of the lesser teams, there is an occasional poor first touch, that at least some 180 degree passes don't go straight to their intended target, that at least once in a while a first time volley from 30 yards doesn't fly straight into the top corner but instead is slightly miss-hit, that the endless top-speed sprinting results in at least some sign of fatigue.

I like the smoothness of the animations and there is definitely potential in this game but so far, looks like a shallow sell-out to keep the kids happy.

So any word about J-league for the rest of the world??

Because i will go with the ps4 version and i dont know if will be possibly to have the option files.

I saw somewhere that Konami will be doing a special event in November(Asia Champions League Final), and that they'll anounce something for the Asian community.

Some people say that it will be a new League... hoping for the J-League!! :JAY:
