Daymos was saying something about option files the other day. He said he thinks the PS4 cant have them and the XB1 might be able to have them

just checked daymos FB page - PS4 is getting an option file and so too XB1

I have not seen many videos but one thing that I have noticed and is pretty worrying is the amount of players making neck breaking forward runs. Once the ball get close to the final third it looks like every player wants to get into the box, tactically it looks very arcade like.

Could that not be down to players spamming the forward run trigger?

I watched the videos of Fifa15, it has unfortunately been at EA for that matter Gameplay and again very little to do playmaking nothing.

It's such a boring kick it nothing happens on the court, always the same attack pattern when goals happen then always in the same way, namely striker runs alone on goal and only has to push him.

Since Pes 2015 has to offer much more, man must sometimes the video just look at the gameplay alone, because just happens much more on the lawn.

The only bad news for pes 2015, unfortunately I have to wait until mid-November. In Fifa 15, only the demo is loaded and looked but it looks very after 2 weeks of fun and nothing more.

I'll think to myself I to Pes 15 appears Get NHL 15, at least here is the gameplay really cool.

I really don't get this fifa hate on this forum, what are you 13 years old people? I get if someone tries fifa and dislikes it, or if someone tries pes and dislikes it, but im noticing so much hate from both this forum and fifa forum about the other game I just find it funny as hell.. I mean you haven't even tried fifa 15 or pes 15 to compare yet your saying the other game is shit and hating on people who even mention possibly playing it, why? I really don't get it. Are you football fans and love playing football games? Whats your deal then? I play the football game that is better or if both are good I play both, why would I play something that is shit just because of its name while not playing the other better game just because of its name? lol, why would I even support KONAMI or EA and being their loyal fanboy, they don't really care about fans only profits mostly... I will play the game I enjoy more, or both if I enjoy both.. get a grip people.

As far as PES 15 and Fifa 15 is concerned, I must say both look promising, last year both games were fairly bad, but fifa 14 was at least somewhat playable for me while pes 14 was utter garbage. This year both games look very promising I must say.. I hope im not disapointed.

Hey boy, I believe you're 13 years old and do not understand me completely.
I judge only by what I see, it has nothing to do with hate, why also?
I give every year Pes and Fifa a chance, I will test me both demos intensive.

I get by konami or Ea no money, it's just my opinion, I should probably write it here or? I judge only videos, but it looks just after typical Fifa and that makes me just not fun.

Ive seen many of the latest videos, and ... im a tiny bit concerned about speed overall, it does smack of fifa 14 in certain ways. Not in terms of AI positioning etc, but the responsiveness and "fun" aspect being such a fine line, its hard to work out if its tipped that line.

Anyone remember the camera recorded footage of gameplay that was leaked and then removed from YT and then appeared again (cant find link its in the large thread somewhere)? The speed of gameplay on that was "perfect", I wonder what build and game speed setting that was at? It looks nothing like the latest gamescon footage ive seen.

I would like to see something others probably wont:

1. Highest difficultly
2. Set game speed to 0 and then another -1
3. AI v AI on all
4. Broadcast camera.

I like the fact that it was voted best sports game a GC. A lot of people played it and had different opinions of the game. The vidoes look great and it's by far more positive and we were a year ago or even a week ago. Same people assassinating both games every year. Just let people enjoy them to the best they can ffs. Nobody is scoring any brownie points by slagging off the other game, it's like some people hate a company for the product they turn out. We get it that some of us dislike one of the football games, rejoice at the fact we may have two good games to play this year. As for a certain manager of a certain company, he'll fall on the blade sooner or later.

Champagne needs to go on ice for the pes team as far as I am concerned.

Gameplay is an important element but what about
- Online stability : if this isn't on par with FIFA14 NG they are screwed
- Editing kits: I am not huge on this but will be annoyed if we can't get authentic looking kits
- Flawless release: Konami CANNOT afford massive debilitating bugs. People are not as forgiving as they are on EAs game. If they screw up people will write it off.

Konami are capable of anything but i think for them to take out the ability to edit is not going to happen...I fucking hope not!

Couldn't agree more, both games look really promising this year and with two months development time still left for pes, more spit and polish will be added as well as additional fine tuning.

For those that enjoy both titles you have FIFA just around the corner and love or loath what ea do,you can't deny they have added additional polish to there game that's only going to improve it from last years iteration.

I enjoy both and although I firmly sit more in the pes camp i am loving what I'm seeing this year,I will pick up both titles irrespective of opinion and gain a equal amount of enjoyment from both, that I am sure.

What we all should be embrassing is how good both games are looking and if your a next gen console owner your in for a equal treat.

Not a bad time to be a footie gaming fan..

For me it's pointless picking holes in pes currently, the build shown at gamescom is already weeks behind where the team currently are and with just under three months to release there's more then enough time for refinement, bug tweaking and what ever else the team needs to add.

It's more then obvious they have a vision for this years game that is well beyond what we've seen prior to the last 6 years.

Relax people it's looking all good.

Deco, you bin smokin' some shrubbery? It looks nothin' like FIFA.

:TU: some really need glasses.
FIFA has never looked this good.

i do like all the things happening AROUND THE PITCH in FIFA,like the ball boys getting the ball, stewards walking around, the crowds etc.
really nice, but like KONAMI said: THE PITCH IS OURS.

Was half kidding :))

I love playing with the camera which is closest to TV broadcast as possible. Otherwise I can't feel the game at all. You know, distances, angles and everything.

Fair enough not too fussed about a "TV broadcast experience" myself. Always had it on wide(better view of pitch) as broadcast hasn't clicked with me maybe I just needed to give it more time.

Couldn't really give a monkeys fuck who's pitch it is. Two good games within a couple of months is just the ticket for me.

This crazy guy is Official Fifa ranked 5th in the world

then... why i not believe?

no i dont believe him. not because he is a hardcore FIFA player but he is not me and im the one who is buying the product. and many guys praised PES 2014 even here and they are still praising and that game man......u know what im mean? matter of taste. waiting for demo...

Bit of a rant coming up because i notice that most players prefer wide cam, which for me is a big annoyance when playing with more people in the same room. My opinion is that the closer the cam, the more i can get into the game and do some micromanagement like making last second decisions. At the same time i must keep an eye on the rader and the space around me. It's more difficult but ultimately more satisfying.

On closer cams my feeling of control over the ball much better because i can notice when an animation is finished with more ease and adjust my timing on this. Perhaps also because the responsiveness is higher when there are less players to be rendered on the screen, the game definitely feels smoother on closer cams.

So yeah, for me the better feeling of control, while at same time experiencing the stress of calculating all your options with minimal oversight is what makes me think that playing with a closer cam is mimicking the experience of real football a lot more. In real football u continuously have to find a balance between looking up to see your teammates and the space around u and looking at the ball and you're direct opponent to stay in possession.

Wide is just a totally different game and more focused on macro management alone. To me it feels like cheating if you can see in a split second which player is marked and which is not. In real football it takes skill to pick out the right player to pass to. Therefore, imho, wide cam sucks a lot of skill, creativity and micromanagement out of the game. I say creativity because with wide cam players actions are a lot more predictable. In my experience games tend to be more pass-pass-pass-shoot-fests with less micromanagement and skill involved.
