PES 2015 Discussion Thread (PS4/XB1)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Regarding the second divisions, is it confirmed the players in those teams will be licensed? (Something I saw from GTM PES World).
Yes they are. Adam confirmed it thanks to the FIFAPro license.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

News from Adam Bhatti interviewed by Italian TV program "Gamerland":
- Each team have its own manager with specific characteristics that will reflect on the team
- You can also create new managers
- Second divisions for Italy, England and Spain (not sure if licensed)
- Stadium editor confirmed
- Improved offline ML, especially transfers
- Improved crowd sound effects
- Time lapse with dynamic shadows

Oh, no… Wait… WHAT?!
Oh, OK… I’m OK… I like that.

Thanks very much for that! I can't find that anywhere. Where abouts is it? (Couldn't find it in the translated interview)

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

My guess is that the license with FIFpro is per league, Konami has to pay extra to have the real players registered in each individual league.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

I hope that all of those 2nd division leagues are available on BAL too

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Maybe because they're using the d-pad instead of the thumbstick.

Playing with D-Pad in 2014 is a shame when a game offer 360 degree control.
It's not a fighting game.

Ps: Very happy with D2 league, This will help a LOT option files makers.
And no more fuck*** fake teams in ML after one season in the league.
Now we can only pray to have a "semi-licensed" bundesliga, with fake teams names, bu real players names/appereance, team formation.

Thats if they have more slots for badges and logos

Is editing even possible on the PS4?

I read somewhere that you can't save images in a folder which was required on the ps3

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

We don't know if that's possible, i don't own a PS4, and don't know any games that need to be "edited" like PES. But i don't think the system have totally changed, normally we can input pictures/saves/movies directly by USB like on PS3.
Needs confirmation for a PS4 user throught.

With latest Konami's annoucements, a "FIFA CREATION CENTER" lookalike is a possibility too, or sharing teams reproduction online. But for now on, the principal is to finish their game before, add animations etc...
We don't know all features yet.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Since PES have done the "Import/Export" teams, it can be a good solution, but for the leagues logos, if we can't import PNG...

Thanks Zee ;)

All these leagues work with FIFAPro, so the names will surely be real.

Very true!

I´ve used to play with D-Pad only since I´ve started with PES 3.
Never ever wanted to switch to the stick.

But with PES 2014 you´re way too limited with it.
At least that´s how I feel.

It took me a few attempts though and some time to get used to it, but it´s definitely better.

Btw, those turns you can see in that leaked gameplay video, when players receive a pass.
They´re in PES 2014 too.
Played a few offline games with my cousin on the PS3.

Even saw a first flying header .

Even with all the flaws etc. this game, offline with a mate and with heart switched off, is very enjoyable imo.

PES 2015 built on it with a polished gameplay...if that´s how it will be and all the news and feats we´ve got to know so far, I´m really very optimistic about it!

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

my question is...if nornally they update the rosters 2 or 3 months after the end of hiring season, which is lazy and lame, if there is going to be more leagues and players we can expect a full roster update by april or may :(

There will be weekly updates now according to KONAMI done by fans working on database.

The problem I see, is whether or not will it conflict with EDIT patches. Unless PES 2015 uses different file systems (ie. no option files).

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Can you confirm that all we have for Pes 2015 are two leaked videos, the few seconds and the 15 minutes... Right?

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

It will be really interesting to see how they do it especially with the last few DP's messing up teams. Guess we will have to wait and see.

Hope so. As good as it sounds, I will turn it off for the sake of using PC patches.

yes, its optional.

Live Updates: Weekly data updates constantly adjust transfers and team line-ups in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian leagues. Player data is also updated based on current performances every week, so if a player is on a goal-scoring streak, his stats will be boosted accordingly in the update. Applied to all online modes and optional within single-player mode.

PES 2015 'locked at 1080p/60fps' on PS4 – but Konami hesitant on Xbox One performance

Publisher can't commit to Xbox One performance 'at this stage'.

The PlayStation 4 version of PES 2015 will run at 1080p/60fps, Konami has confirmed to VideoGamer.com, but the publisher remains hesitant over whether the same will apply to Xbox One.

"We're locked at 60 frames, 1080p already, and this is the first build," European brand manager Adam Bhatti told us earlier today referring to the PS4 demo on display.

But while attempting to seek clarification over whether Bhatti's comments also applied to the Xbox One version, senior creative producer Naoya Hatsumi explained that PES Productions is "still at a stage where we can't give a definite yes".

"When you consider that question comes from us having just PS4 consoles available for gameplay on the floor, it's just purely for the development reasons," Hatsumi said.

"At the current development stage we're in - which is just under 70 per cent complete - we still have a lot of work on game balance and some of the gameplay elements are just much more visible on what we want to deliver... We thought that would be able to be conveyed best through a PS4 at this stage, but we are definitely working on the Xbox One [and] all other platforms in parallel to the PS4 edition."

While Fox Engine sibling Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes struggled to reach 1080p/60fps on Xbox One, PES hopefully shouldn't suffer the same fate. Last year's football launch title FIFA 14 managed to achieve 1080p/60fps on PS4 and Xbox One, with this year's game set to do the same.

PES 2015 launches on PS4, Xbox One and "additional platforms" later this year.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

Curious to know, other than looking nice, how 1080p/60fps will benefit a football game.

Re: PES 2015 Discussion Thread

It would be nice if we could mix kits like in a previous version. How hard is this to be put back in? Also i hope they keep the dirt on kits and pitch wear would be a nice edition.

Yes, I'd love to have that feature back.
