Seriously though - whether it's this possible on this gen or has to be done on next gen version, they NEED to capture many more goalkeeper animations and code the appropriate logic with it. Once they do that, the ball should become as free as possible with shooting.

Having enough animations and the correct logic tied to it can lead to variety, which will lead to better gameplay. PES plays better in the midfield than FIFA but it's the opposite feeling in the final 3rd. They must do so otherwise they're out of excuses when it comes to engine limitations. I appreciate we might not get there for this patch, but hopefully in a future patch or at the very latest for the first cut of PES 2015. Has to be a priority...especially instead of creating 1,000+ faces.

Perhaps it's more doable on Advanced Shooting. I'm curious to see if I have the same results as that poster if I put an outfield player in goal. There is something wrong when I know that the opponent will never score a goal from outside 16 meters. It means I do not have to rush to close the player because i know he's going to shoot and lost the ball. It kills the thrill of playing a football game. I've played over 50 games of PES 14 .Often I have more than 20 shots at goal. I've managed to score a goal twice outside 16 meters. It was straight at the keeper as he pushed the ball into the goal.CPU scored zero.
We can choose between 3 types of shots asistanse (manual, advanced and basic). I realize that execution is different but the outcome should be the same.
Konami's "advanced" shoting was introduced in Goal Storm in 97 and I feel that it is not behind the current PES 14. Maybe better.
Actually I'm not a player who likes to shoot from a distance if I see the opportunity to play the ball in front of me to a player who is better positioned.
I just think it's silly that the game limits itself with basic errors.
It's hard to recommend this game to my friends when Konami releases a beta version. Maybe after november patch tings will get better.
Until then, my PES 14 disc will collect dust. I'm not that young anymore and I can not wait for Konami every year and listen to their sweet words and promises.
 
does anyone have the original formation inclusive setting from CELTIC??
I would like to play with them in the MLO...thx for sharing

this clip is a shooting tutorial so i choose only the beautiful goals.
actually, i've tried to record the goals about 50 times
most of them was saved, fail shot (out of the box, press triangle at the wrong time)
some of them was touch by the keeper but still in.
only the goals in this clip that i can score beautifully.
 
Yeah, but still there is this ridiculous moment where Gk just went to sit on his ass spreading his one leg like idiot. 2nd is Gk parrying not so powerful shot into back of his net.

Some shots here should have been saved. I know training is on Regular (which of course you can change), but GKs reactions should be the same on all difficulties and not scaling with difficulty setting. Plus GK didn't really come out of goal for corners or tried to punch them out (this happens on FIFA, but it depends on GK and his individual traits).

Christ, I've never waited anything else (let alone the DLC) more than I'm waiting for the November pack. This + an OF will keep me occupied until New Year's Eve.

Would like to point out to the mods here, that I find this post extremely insulting and disrespectful of the constructive criticism that has been brought forth here so far.

And to the OP: I don't fucking care how skilled you are at dribbling or how many goals you have scored from freekicks. You have no right to call me (or anyone else around here) 'retarded' and you can stick your patronizing attitude where the sun don't shine.
 
Although I somewhat agree with Fitiello's first sentence, his use of the word "retarded" is incredibly offensive and shouldn't be tolerated.
 
OK gentlemen, lets move on from the friction.

BTW I also am convinced that a lot of people pulling the game to pieces
are not yet proficient enough at controlling it.
Purely an opinion that I am entitled to make.
 
So actually last night, I manage to play PES 2013 again. Guess what ? In my opinion, PES 2014 excels in many positive way despite the spesific gameplay inconsistencies/stability which hopefully most of them will be eradicated in November patch.
 
Anyone noticed any changes with 1.0.3? I played 2 games + free training on xbox. Maybe more fluid and GKs didn't do blunders but they didn't get much action either. Awareness issue still remains (or maybe it's switching). Maybe it's all placebo. I don't know, check it out.

You guys make me laugh. in case you don't know but this is a pro evo forum. We discuss everything that is related to PES. people using politics or charity nonsense to convince people are the ones who need to chill. Everyone who bought the game has the right to complain about whatever they want. IF I am not satisfied with my tv i will return it, probably get a refund or replace it. If you buy a game that doesn't work, people have the right to complain. IF one decides to destroy their game, they should do that. they paid for it. Really you people make me laugh, after all these years people still take this shit from KONAMI.

p.s don't forget that allot of people don't have allot of money. I know somene who saves money to buy games. You can't just go around on forums and tell them not to say anything. this is just not the way you should treat people, especially those who dont have allot of money.
