"Looks like 2013 and Fifa"

If that gameplay isn't proof enough it plays nothing like the mentioned above then I'm completely speechless; regardless better or worse.

Very happy with what I've seen. :))

I wanted to see clear change and I think that it's fairly obvious in that gameplay video. I'm sure this game won't be perfect and there is only so much we can expect from the PS3/360 platforms, but what excites me is what Konami can do with this engine going forward.

It doesn't look like fifa...And it is very different and 100% better than PES 2013...

Waiting for new complete gameplay videos and demo...

If FIFA 14 next gen is like the fifa in the video then the PES 2014 will be much better than FIFA..

Yeah, will LOOKS different, with HD textures, but you can found a gameplay videos in youtube (Like THIS one) from E3 and you can see how close is to current gen gameplay , almost 1:1! And who is say that FIFA is not broken ? My opinion is that EA has a lot work to do with the gameplay.

Maybe ts just 65% build :-)))))))))))))

Completely agree. It's pretty impressive since it's the first year for a Fox Engine Pes game. And foundations are very solid.

@yair :))

Its about the demo and game now, the big moment to see if all the underwork from PES 2013 remains or if its been taken out to accommodate these animations. I'm positive it's there since the producer playing as Santos was demonstrating the L2 Manual pass through the entire video, it looks the same.

Good point about the presenters using L2 pass to obfuscate passing/ball receiving behaviors from PES2013. I was secretly hoping that the game would be all manual tho..

Something i don't like in PES 2011 currently present in the gameplay vids by matsuda..

Ground passing animation... = pass then stop.. pass then stop.. cycle. Have a look at some passes just after 1st kickoff.

I thought most PES 2013 ground passing has eradicated this animation cycle a.k.a after passing the player continues to another run directory..

Finally someone seeing beyond animations and fancy new stuff. As good as those things are, Konami still keeps some basic football concept still unadressed.

:)) Very Impressed.

Like what I've seen, its definitely a very different 'looking' game which I assume will translate with the pad too, hopefully they manage to convert the tactical and AI aspects from last year which were very good apart and match that up with how stunning it all looks now.

I really like the Santos kits, especially the reflecting numbers. The Bayern kits look a bit baggy, though.

Well.. looking again at pes 2011, the passing animation cycle is worse.. They pass and suddenly stop..

in 2012 the same thing applies..

in 2013, mixed stuff exist like previous and the one with transition to another run direction which i think looks real..

So far in pes 2014.. they actually "pass.. still moving straight.. and stop" cycle. Hope they look at it before release given so many good animation and graphic stuff presented today. because it probably will look unnatural when doing triangle passes.. or just ground-passing around in general.

These applies for ground passes. But it could change though..

The trailer looked great with the animations and graphics looked
Nice aswell viewing from my phone.

Can't really make out how good the gameplay video looks will probably
Have to see people on the stand playing it more up close.

But things look promising atleast people shouldn't get too carried away
One way or the next til the demo is released.

thats not the way it is, keepers suck now for years, just watching while they concide, difficulty doesnt matter

yes good old shit keeper movement :)
