The gameplay makes FIFA 14 animations look abit outdated imo (see page 65 video by mehtab); that's just how good it is. About the slow passing on manual thing; i just think he just didn't put enough power in the pass; you could see he held L2 almost the entire time; i remembered doing exactly the same thing in PES 13 demo testing out the manual passing; its either too hard or too soft.

I'm so happy reading this reactions of everyone! The big change it's finally happening. Waiting for the demo...

Hmmmm looks good but the physics look floaty, FIFA like. I've always been worried that Konami would one day switch closer to FIFA's style. Money talks after all. I hope I'm wrong. I love PES.

Impressive trailer. Player movement and ball movement looks a lot better. Ball seems more free.

The issue with the colors is that they look very dulled and lack vibrancy and contrast. Hoping this can be alleviated with modding on PC. Fully expect that to be a limitation of the current gen, and will be gone next year.

I see a clear quality gap from night matches to day matches. It really is night and day :p

I had the initial impression that that bit was just a bit more "post-produced" but right now I'm unsure, after watching several times. Still, in terms of animation smoothness at least from what we can see on the gameplay trailer, it's not that ridiculous to think that bit is also pure gameplay.

I'm completely lost. I've no idea what to think of the trailer...one thing I know, it looks astonishing!:WORSHIP:

I do think that to produce the level of such a 360 degree seamless animation fluidity. the output of floaty feels is inevitable. Unless inertia, foot planting, etc are available and well-implemented.

It was interesting to see the glimps of GK in trailer but not really in gameplay vid. Need more proof :)). However, nice to see they retain the simple menu approach.

Anyway, it is great to see this level of football game in current gen console. Fox engine adaptation brings a new level of football gaming.

Question now is, will my notebook handle the new game very well :OOOH:

What a nice surprise to wake up to this morning, some gameplay footage :) :) albeit at the South American conference, but still! :D

The game looks fan-fucking-tastic, so impressed! This is surely going to bring a lot of people back from fifa.

This reminds me of the whole xbox & playstation thing :P

If this is what current gen looks like, imagine next gen when that time comes! :D

And the 3d crowds seem just for cutscene which is expected. But the added atmosphere, flags, smokes, are good compromise. It is not a big issue but.. i'd rather not to see the crowds before the Goal Kick cheering up like a maniac.. reminds me of the other game. :P Just chill out and sit down please.

The more i see the wide-camera gameplay footage, the more i feel that this game starts looking more like FIFA animation-wise (I get a little bit of "slidey" feeling when player dribbles, like FIFA). Does anyone else feels the same?

I don't think it looks like FIFA at all. Personally though, I won't be using that wide camera angle as I don't think it shows off the visuals as well as a closer cam. Hoping that they changed Live Broadcast back to normal Broadcast!

Lol you guys are crazy it looks nothing like fifa and there is clear inertia look how players still take a while to turn.

Game looks unreal. Animations far higher than FIFA

the only thing I didn't like is the way players run, it's just ridiculous like FIFA ..
In my humble opinion, the best run was in PES6, PES2010, PES2011 ..

Lloks good, but i will hold any judgement until i have played a retail version, even the demo gives no indication after what Koanmi did recently.

PES Production has taken a giant leap by introducing this new engine. However i'm waiting for slightly better gameplay footage which demonstrate wider area of the gameplay.

in the gameplay segment, anyone else noticed that there are real electronic moving adboards?
that's fantastic, I think ads makers will have a harder work to do, they have to imitate real movements of the real ads..

Yeah, and the adboard model is updated too...

Well, for adboard editor, i think it'll be the same like previous version, just replacing texture. There's electronic adboards too in previous PES, and to edit it people just need to replace texture.

Well, that's if tools like GGS or UDE will exist for the new PES engine.

I mean the hard part this time, is to simulate also the animation itself, for example in the video, the PES2014 logo in red, the way it moves, this need a GIF or an other format supporting movements ..
not usual PNG or BMP ..
for example, we have to simulate adidas, Nike, Coca Cola ads as they move ..

Nice trailer, good emphasis on the atmosphere and crowd interaction, also reassuring to see the improvements in player movement and goalkeepers.

I don't like the colour though, it reminds me of FIFA, they should tone it down and make it look more like a HD broadcast.

I know what you mean, but it's possible also that the adboard animation and texture are stored in different places like previous PES' electronic adboards.
That way, we can only change the texture and it will animate the same way in the game without the need to make a new animation for it.

A longs as players boots dont disapear into the ground ill be happy

Also I need a lot of convincing re keepers. Im keeping my on on those.
