Can someone please explain to me what is happening here ? I feel like an idiot who is missing the obvious point.

Other than that, the wide cam pic of the Allianz Arena left me gobsmacked :O

That gameplay footage was so sexy, especially on animations! Hell, I even think that animations might just be the best thing about it, visually it's impressive and likenesses are better than ever but there's something odd going on there. Might be the color palette still needing fine-tuning.

But animations look so life-like, like I've never seen before on a football game...

Colour seems a bit weird but well done what a game for once I couldn't believe it is PES it's like a new football IP. Love the player collision and match speed is very natural not arcade-ish go to one point to another like fifa. I think quite photorealistic for PS3 standard. Still quite concerned about the crowds though, still pixelated. What a day, PES IS BACK

The game definitely looks good. It surely plays and feels good too. But I can't help worrying about the tactical aspect. If you look past the animations and the level of control the user seems to have, it still looks like the same from a tactical standpoint. I wonder what will happen when we get used to what's new in the game.

Konami seems to have exported the game into the new engine, and then modeled it according to the new engine possibilities. So, all in all, I see it as an improvement over PES 2013, but following the same line.

Perfect. Cause I was very happy with 2013 (On PC of course with some mods).

That trailer  ... Is this the year PES productions finally wake up ? I'm so scared to get carried away but that feeling of anticipation is so sweet :P

Not 100% sure what to make of that yet. e.g. the ball seemed to move really slowly on the passing? I noticed that in the PES 2013 demo but on the final game the passing was lovely. The pitch texture looked a bit 1 dimensional too? One goal towards the end, the net didn't move lol. I assume that's because it hit the rail on the bottom due to the finish being flat with the surface.

I do like it very much, just noticed those things a bit :P

On the plus side, the atmosphere and animations seem very good and the ball looks VERY much to be an independent entity. Some nice keeper saves and animations too. Appeared you can curl the ball from long free kicks too? Nice!

Some of the skill moves and jostles for the ball were great :)

p.s. I mean slow passing on the gameplay footage where they used manual passing.

Yes, the game simply looks different in every deparment, it's like a new franchise, but let's call that a new era for PES.

With Fox Engine we can really erase the previous PES from our mind. Just take note that I'm not saying that the game will be flawless and everything that we asked for ina football videogame, but the potential is there guys, things will change drastically from now on. :))

Don't get me wrong, the game looks sexy as hell, looks miles ahead of FIFA14. I just hate it that the right and left back are still the reference for offsides. My fear is that the back four could still be a mess, as Konami didn't work on it.

You can see nearly 8 situation on this video where the back four behave erraticaly.

And before you jump on me for concluding this over a single video, I spotted the same flaw in PES2013 early previews and you all know how it turned out.

I love the music they use for those trailers.I mean it shits all over the usual techno/electro/whatever shit they've served us for years.

The video trailer looks fantastic thoroughly, but seriously, didn't you guys notice a clear quality gap between the bits at 0:48 and 1:20 compared to the rest of the video ?
:CONFUSE:

These two parts of the video look just as good as that cgi video showing liverpool, chelsea etc... (I'm not finding the vid but I think you guys know what i am taling about):CONFUSE:

LOL I just noticed that right now..

The bit at 1:20 (wich imo looks better than the rest of the video, as if it was nextgen footage) you see player for Santos scoring the EXACT same goal that Neymar scored in real life against Flamengo, wich was awarded as the Fifa goal of the year.

I see a clear quality gap from night matches to day matches. It really is night and day :p

I had the initial impression that that bit was just a bit more "post-produced" but right now I'm unsure, after watching several times. Still, in terms of animation smoothness at least from what we can see on the gameplay trailer, it's not that ridiculous to think that bit is also pure gameplay.
