Konami promised something amazing, close to reality, and the pictures I've seen, is a simple evolution PES 2013 full hd.

The Allianz Arena image is not close to reality? :CONFUSE:

BTW, I read bench players are now shown warming up during gameplay. Nice detail.
 
I don't care for photorealistic graphics.

What I care about is how the players move, animation, physics, AI, controls, tactical depth...

These can't be seen in screenshots. In screenshots every PES-game looked pretty good, even PES 2008-2013.

So why don't you all chill out and wait for some videos where things get shown in movement, even if we have to wait till gamescom to see it in widecam? Until then we can read previews from those that have played it at E3, and watch limited trailers.
 
Please remember people, the very best PES' have differences that aren't noticable at first. The more you PLAY the more you FEEL the difference. Don't worry about someone not going overboard with a first impression.

i have always been impressed with the animations in this game.
when i finally found the game i noticed that like most games looks can be deceiving.
it does have a few good things, like long balls, great shots and smooth animations but it is very arcadish.
but like you said the fluid animation coupled with the old PES feel should be perfect.
 
Argentinian League - great addition.

Is the Brazilian league already in PES2013? I should know but the PC patches add so much content I can't remember what's original!
 
I think these graphics look still, rather cartoon like.

gameplay videos will be interesting.

Just hope the game hasn't been stripped down to accommodate new animations and all the functions from PES 2013, still remain and have been improved.
 
These new screens gave me a whole new perspective :SHOCK: Difference is slowly starting to become obvious (although it didn't come as expected).

One thing for sure though, it already looks miles away from next-gen FIFA.
 
HOLY SHIT!! After watching some amazing nextgen videos (Infamous gameplay, MGSV, the Division and so many others), I thought that I would NEVER get impressed with PES 2014 considering that it's still aimed for current platforms, but holy crap at those screenshots.

WOW.. WHY the daylight screens are FAR, FAR better than nightligh matchs ? The pic from Bayern stadium is just phenomenal... my God, I wasn't expecting that level after seeing the first screens and the fact that is for current gen console.

Can't wait to see gameplay of a daylight match.
