What the fuck are you people playing? individuality has NEVER been asgood as it is now.
"The only difference is speed" I spat my coffee across the room on that 1.
Offcourse manaual settings changes things a lot but to say PES is not stat based is mindboggling.
Keep in mind the PS2 games were very old and archaic code.you get away with so much more than where football games are today moreso with the Introduction of the physics and animation engines which is why I think that Konami are spot on to introduce player cards.
Okay, if you have, day, Xavi on the ball, what does he offer over anyone else? He's not a dribbler, so that's obviously not going to be a factor, but his control, passing are pretty much identical to anyone else's despite these stats being through the roof. I can still hammer a long, 50 yard pass with pinpoint accuracy with a defender with low passing stats, so what's the point in Xavi in the game? His movement off the ball doesn't seem to offer anything much different to other players, so that's my point - unless someone is renowned as a dribbler or powerhouse like Zlatan for example, players feel very generic.
So there you have it. There are players with good dribbling, acceleration, and can turn quickly, those who are powerful and hard to knock off the ball, and the rest who kinda just feel the same.
