I think a lot of times people are saying there's a delay when in fact the player is just finishing his previous animation. If you want immediate response, you have to give up animations that fit together smoothly, imo.

It's amazing how much complaining people are doing tbh. I thought I was bad. It's like, 'this game's amazing, but floaty shots omg!!!!! 1/10'.

People are asking for the perfect game, which is a waste of time. The day the perfect game is made, no more football games will be made thereafter. What's worse is that each person's idea of the perfect game is different. :RANT:

Yeah i hear you mate. I suppose the shooting/heading issues just stand out like swollen dog's balls for me as it jars so heavily with the fluidity of many other parts of the game. Its just taking the shine off of what could be a great game.

I really hope for manual shooting fixed asap because it's great and for sure the way to go for me this year.

No shooting iSsues noted for me on manual. Low shot, mid range and high power all work well except when I try to wallap a 30 yarder with a CB LOL

Just the fucking heading grrrrr

I'm hoping it'll be patched but losing goals like this in a football game is not good enough. Earlier, I let in a goal where my keeper ran out for a cross, then just stood there and let it bounce over him virtually on the goal line where a forward managed to tap the ball in on the line, standing behind my static keeper. Must be a break-down in the game's AI or something.

The rest of the game is fantastic, in fact playing 15 minute matches was even better, but if this sort of thing is going to happen when I'm playing Master League then I won't bother. What's the point?

couldn't they have used this for all the faces?
the poll about what players faces we would like in the game sounds stupid if u asked me.
why not put everyone you possibly can for which you have got the licenses or are they just trying to add to the game what should have been there in the first place cause they rushed it for the release date.
Riquelme appears in trailers without his face, unbelievable.
the gameplay is always better then FIFA but these stupid mistakes don't really help to promote the game.

Just finished a match against Real Madrid (super star) in a 15 minutes match, lost 1-4.

They had 14 shots on target, if not for my GK it could be more. I could only muster two shots. They eased off a bit in final 20 minutes, but still very challenging. Feels like i was a passenger throughout the match, didn't give me a chance at all.

I think motivation play a significant part in goalkeeping since it is more noticeable. Slightly important than conditioning, in my opinion.

Yesterday, about the catch-up dispute Romagnoli-Ipswitch, I was thinking that motivation (heart feature) could have a role into the catchup design.
While I'm agreeing with Romagnoli, I believe actually there is inconsistencies within catchup phenomenon, which is there anyway IMO.
Could be possible that heart feature influence the catchup boost in some way.

I was playing my mate last night, we had an absolute blast. Getting more used to the shooting, seems that pressing R1 when you shoot helps. Heart had a lot of influence on De Gea (my mate played as United), he let in a soft goal and after that he had a "cold heart" and was absolutely useless. I got a goal after that which literally hit his face and changed direction into the goal. He didn't even try to save it.

Yup, and to clarify the keeper in my video was on a green arrow and his heart was orange to red.

Gonna try again later, maybe I just had a really bad run with keepers last night.

Did you know that when playing in BAL or with the Player Camera, you can hear your opponent team shout out commands? For example I was playing against Manchester United and I heard their players shout out things like, "Hey watch you're back!", "Somebody cover him!". Also playing against Schalke I heard German commands. These are such small details that Konami did not have to put in, but ones I'm thankful for.

How does Heart differ from the form arrows? How would a motivated controlled player perform compared to an unmovitated one?

How about the manual contorlled shots surely u cant be happy with that. They end up on row Z most of the time

I turned the heart feature off days ago. It ruins the game, for me at least.

But you only can turn it off for exhibition matches, right? Or there is a way to turn off for all the game modes , like ML for example?

I've not noticed the heart feature doing anything at all. I've also never seen any of my players change colour mid-game. Not started a season yet; I guess it becomes more obvious there.

I'm not sure. I only play exhibition games for now, until a well rounded option file comes out.

Heart is subtle, you can't see it but you can feel it, it sound cliche but it is true.

For example team you can feel there's no intensity with team full of less motivated player. CPU AI also react in this regard. Conceding goal between last few minutes, you can definitely feel the AI is having a go at you, putting you under pressure, vice-versa.

I don't think this is placebo since this is what Heart supposed to do.

Oh, I've noticed this a few times. Try to run straight towards the goal when you kick-off, you'd be surprised how easy it is to score. Definitely a bug that should be fixed.

I've noticed heart quite a bit while playing a season. Not quite sure if I like how it is at the moment though. Seems to be a tad exaggerated.

Shooting could always be improved, but it's not a huge issue for me. R2-shooting is definitely too weak though, but I've scored plenty of goals one-on-one with a GK with the R2 shot.
