Have to say, I'm enjoying reading about the people who are enjoying the game more than I'm actually enjoying the game itself so far!

It's yet to click for me but I know it will eventually.

It will surely click for you. Take this as a challenge. Try keeping 75% possession in a game. Play for/against any team of your choice. Try to keep 75% possession (don't mind the result). And then in another game try to keep less than 40% possession (don't mind the result). Play 15 or 20 min games. At the end of this exercise you'd have understood the game better. The 'click' is around the corner!

I installed the disc version of the 360 and haven't really seen any lag or stutter at all. Haven't tried it streaming from the disc though. No input lag that I've noticed, and no stuttering on replays etc.

Anyone with the ps3 verison, can you you tell me how to install on to the HDD as i can't see an option to do it on the menu screen. Thanks.

As Blue says, don't use sprint unless you are in the clear, and take things as slow as possible. And don't chase people who have the ball, bring others in to challenge the ball carrier with square (or X on 360) and manually select a defender in a deeper position. Slows everything right down, evens out possession, and stops the constant though-ball attempts.

Mine just has the option for English and Swedish text language.

I also really don't understand how people have the 360 UK version and say it has options for different commentaries. This is really confusing. Mine has none, just the text options for English & Swedish. No audio commentary language options whatsoever :(

Rumour has it this is written on page 14 of the PES 2014 user manual:

"Please note that depending on the type of your television, you may find that your controller inputs may be out of sync with on screen visuals"

No wonder there are so many different experiences being reported with this game:LOL:

Yeah just had a look at my manual it's true, it's written on the 2nd page in the booklet

No wonder. First time I heard such thing in a video game. Different tv will affect controller? Pure nonsense

On side note, I must admit, I had a wry grin at those who didn't like the game initially. I always feel the best PES games are the ones that require a learning curve for them to click. Anything that appears amazing from the offset, probably hasn't been changed enough or isn't deep enough.

The great PES titles have never offered instant gratification.

Just my 2-Cents.........

I agree, with the wry comment too:))I still remember the dissatisfaction and complaining that took place on PESGAMING when PES 5 came out.

Yup, I think it took me about a week to score my first goal on PES 5 against the CPU. It seemed almost impossible...... :CONFUSE:

I've had at least one - was a closeup of the sub waiting to come on. I seem to remember another too of a longer shot with one player coming off and the other going on but it could be a repressed memory from PES13 :CONFUSE:

Nope, but I did see a great little cutscene involving an injured player getting physio on the pitch after what was a very nasty tackle.His face was grimacing, and he had stress-lines and sweat dripping down his face. It looked really cool. :)

I don't think so. Sort of glad about that because they are boring but I imagine not everybody will feel the same way.

Never saw any substitution cutscene...

I am doing the some games, editing some clubs names... im waiting for the transfers update by konami.

Btw i saw some news yesterday that Konami will give via dlc some extra leagues, what do you guys think??

I really hope that one of them is J-League :)

ok I had to up my pass assistance to one bar. This coming from someone who had 80%+ accuracy on 0 bar online for PES2013. I just cant get the ball to go where it needs to on 0 assist for this game.

I cant play little dinks and very few short passes go where they need to. Its almost always overpowered.
