Its 'crap' well i like the idea but the issue is it makes very simple through balls impossible.

It would be a lot better if it was a modifier attached to L2

So instead of always being an advanced through ball, if you do a through ball and Hold L2 that should activate it. it don't work as a standard through ball.

In PES 6 your player can be facing to any direction.. you can make what you whant and in every dicection with R2...

PES 6 was in 8 Directions. You have L1 if you want close control at any angle.

Ok played one and a half games (begrudgingly had to switch off cos we visiting inlaws)

I think I got the super delux version again cos this copy I got with a rather cool PES t shirt is simply a refined and polished demo 2

I have 0 issues heading a ball, the game is still slow and the AI don't use throughballs.

The question begs "what the fuck are you lot playing?!"

Top player, completely manual I was argentina against Brazil and getiing my arse handed to me but I was playing in a hurry and this game doesn't do hurries. Tactics need to be fine tuned each player has a role and you can't spam anything the R1 button is now the sprint function and not the foundation of the game. Messi could jink and jive past 2 players but David Luiz was keeping him in check whilst on the other end Neymar was walking through my defence who were trying to hard to dispossess him as quick as possible.

The game ended 0-0 I registered nothing on goal and didn't even reach their box. Andujar saved my arse with superb goalkeeping beating away 6 shots from brazils 8 and when Neymar finally slipped one past he was adjudged offside much to my relief.

If online for me is like PES2012 or 2013 and I don't find any issues around the box cos I haven't been there yet :) its Goodbye GTA and Los Santos the king has returned.

Well I was set on the digital download, but was having problems buying a psn card code online for funds. So I said, F*** it, i'll drop into town and buy a friggin card code from a shop. I decided to check the game rack just in case the game had come in on launch day, which it never does. Well, it was actually there. So problem solved. Just starting my first game, Dutch League with Ajax!

Still can't win a header from corners or crosses and first time shooting is nigh on impossible. Response times still unacceptable. I'll come back to this game when they've patched it. It's a case of 70% brilliance and 30% utter shit.

Argh I tried playing in broadcast camera only to find out you can't edit it at all :( and they've STILL kept in that pointless change of camera angles that completely throws you when you get to either touch line. Why, Konami, why???

Not sure about the AI just yet. Playing on Top Player, I've still to lose, and sometimes it feels when I score that the COM almost let me do it. Strange. Also, just played against Marseille and they did nothing but spam chipped through balls almost every time they got the ball.

Couple of questions if anyone can kindly answer, firstly, does anyone know if there is any difference in gameplay between the original and the patch (what does the patch do?).

Lastly, has anyone in the UK managed to download the data patch because my game is telling me there's not even a data patch to download :(

BTW, how many chant slots ? And specific in match scenario slots ? Wowsers !!

I can't be arsed to night but I will be filling up all these bad boys, what an atmosphere I'm going to able to create with all the samples I've collected over the years !! Got some really loud 'Boo's' for when my players get crunched !!

P.S. How bloody good is R2 and Circle, or R2+L2 and Circle for Manual Higher than High passes ?! Love it !

Oh, and one other thing, didn't Adam tweet a while ago that you can now change the commentary language? Because you can't. There's no commentary language option.

I've dropped to Professional for a bit as I was getting some ugly and awkward games on Top Player.

The data pack is under the "i" (information) section. I couldn't find it either at first.

I still can't work out where to input the promo code for extra kits i have.

Well the rose-tinted glasses are on for me and totally love this game niggles or not. I've waited to enjoy PES for a long time and will cock a 'deaf un' to all the moans. Now i want rain, turf marks to go along with the dirty kits, and being able to foul the kepper and i'm a man with two cocks in a whore house.

Intriguing. The South American ML has a different set of defaults than the European one. Including some 35 yr old chap with ridiculous ability.

Btw, just done playing my 1st D2 game with the original ML team and only had 1 through ball played by the CPU during the whole game, and that through ball was to the wing.

Played on professional, default speed, manual pass and shooting, and advanced through ball (don't even use through ball tbh as I just rely on manual passing using short and lofted passes). Game was amazing, very responsive.

Not sure this was the stadium's doing or the difficulty. Guess I'm sticking to my beloved Professional difficulty as usual then.

You can because i have changed mine to spanish, can't remember settings. Also when importing chants make a playlist called WEPES2014.;)

Thanks for that mate :) yeah it's weird, why is the online registration/data pack under a section called 'Statistics'? Really odd!

The data pack won't download though, just stays at 0% and there's no option to choose http or otherwise. Grrrrrrr

I did the demo on Top Payer but I might reduce it down then. That said, the matches before I played Marseille were fine. Brazilian league seems to play better though, had a match as Corinthians and it was awesome!

Ive had it with this game for the time being anyway. The keepers are totally ruining it for me, they have parried the ball 3 times into their own net.
 
I'm just not feeling this game at all. So unresponsive.
Boatang hits post and rolls past shawaray who just stands there. I'm pressing the buttons and nothing.
Is my live affair with pes over? Will try again later

i can't find on-the-fly "attack/defense level" and on-the-fly offside trap , now u can just set it on or off no presets

Absolutely love the way this game plays on the pitch. Final game is indeed better than the demo in every way. Not sure if it's because I'm playing the digital version or what but I don't have any stuttering or frame-rate issues either. That includes when shooting and when the ball goes wide of the goal.

There is none of this. They removed it.

To play offside trap press right or left on D-pad (you will see line on radar where your defense is positioned. You can push them higher or lower up the pitch).

Heh. ;)
