The response in shooting, tackling and body feint are driving me nuts. It's hard to take a shot because the when I press the shoot button, players will only shoot about 1 second after I press the button :RANT:

That's annoying. I don't have that problem in the demo. Hopefully Konami will patch that.

I don't have that problem in the demo as well. Patch 1.01 did nothing for me hope konami sort this out quickly

Played 1 game so early days but I didnt enjoy it. I was Barca V Man U.
Patrice Evra has no neck what so ever.
Yeah yeah I have to learn it etc but why cant they just make games like they used - oh and release finished games.
Every year we get this shit with Konami - day 1 patches etc. Im stuck downloading update on 7% after about 15 mins. Its a joke. Finish the game then release it.

Hey, check that out. Normally, they would send you the code instantly. They might want you to confirm your email after which the code will be displayed as an image in the play-asia website itself under the order details.

Responsivness is much better on professional difficulty than top player, it feels like different video game when i switched from top player to professional. The problem cpu is way too easy to play against on it.

This is a problem. It's like the animation needs to finish before he will strike the ball. You could argue that he needs to take a touch before cracking it, but it's a poor argument to be honest.

The delayed first-time shooting option was the main issue all the lads complained about last night when we played a League.

I use the triangle button to header down scored a couple of decent goals offline.

I must admit I am going slightly insane waiting for the DLC, its been over 1 hour I am downloading at 20kbps and uploading at 780kbps!!, I have 120mb connection and I am getting 20kbps due to my seeds arghh!

Not using manual since trying to get better with dribbling firstly. CPU on professional difficulty gives really much space and is not very accurate with both passing and tackling.
Pass support setting has nothing to do with how good or bad cpu plays.

It's not the animations, but the transitions.

They have to make compromises here: Good/organic transitions often means bad response because the animation needs to end before using the received input order.

Bad/jerky transitions offten means an unrealistic feel because the animation doesn't need to end before using the received input order.

FIFA suffered this problem in the whole gen: they don't know to do the right balance. From the realistic transitions of FIFA 08 to the quick and arcadish turns of FIFA 13.

Balance is always the most difficult thing to achieve, in every aspect of life.

Well I was referring to your comment how easy it is to play the AI. With assisted pass support, it's always gonna be easy. Plus pass support has something to do with how good AI plays. With zero pass support you're going to do more mistakes and AI might take advantage of your mistakes coming out of pass support.

Be careful with the PSN version, you might have to buy the online code separately‎. It costs 10€. From another forum: "Hi. I bought the game on PSN and after patching it, it's asking for an online pass code. Aussie PSN"

Slow PSN datapack download: use HTTP option instead of P2P

Xbox guys with data pack problem, some guy said using an external hard drive fixed the problem.

I got GTA5 to keep me company until PES 2014 shows up on PSN. Just doesn't work. Might quit GTA5 and go play WE2014 demo. The only thing on my mind now is PES 2014.

Try it on a lower setting such as regular or beginner it might be easier, also, make sure you select your man and try to "steal a yard" on your opponent with R1(?) then try it :)

Just got the game today so yeah was late to the party. Anyways, yeah players have to finish their animation before striking the ball which sucks bad time. It's just not realistic

The lack of fouls is very annoying. I've tried to provoke fouls, but whatever i did, no fouls...does the CPU ever make a foul (and if it does - which i haven't seen until now - does the ref give it). Oh, i would be lying: one foul in 5 matches...that is not very realistic.

In defense there is also a serious problem with cursor switching, but maybe i should fumble with the settings. It's still early days.

Things I have problems with

Cursor changing, it feels very random, have a hard time getting the right player under control.

The physics system is also a mixed bag. On one hand there are some great tackles, collisions.
On the other hand there is something wrong. Often when trying to get past a player my attacker gets stuck. His upper body is passed the defender but somehow his legs and waist get stuck.
It’s looks very awkward and it’s clearly a foul however the ref does not whistle.

There are too many moments where the defender will just run into you and due to the physics system you lose the ball. These are mostly fouls which are not given by the ref.
Too bad really cause the system has potential, it just needs a lot of fine tuning.

Completely agree with these.

Add to them also that sometimes I pass the ball in space for a specific player but instead the game decides to pick a further one. Annoying. This is breaking my passing rhythm.

CPU shouldn't be accurate with their passing. There should be more error than this.

Defenders not properly zone marking at times in addition to not holding their lines properly when playing a high line causes lots of successful through balls. I don't mind the through balls as irl teams will do whatever to exploit any teams defenses. My issue is with my defense's AI like these 2 I mentioned already.

Game needs to be more responsive when shooting. It doesn't necessarily mean that they're successful, but at least execute the command instantly even if I press shoot at the wrong time resulting in a failed shooting attempt; don't mind this at all.

Great game but really needs these fixes.

Just tried manual settings on professional and had no problems dominating real madrid using Roma, missing many passes, but cpu is just no threat on offense at all. The gap between professional and top player cpu quickness, reactions and accuracy is way too big.

My 2 biggest gameplay concerns

Goalkeepers

They seem to be parrying lots of shots, just played on superstar Won 6-5 on superstar, 5 goals from keeper parries, also I thin k they are worse when playing 2 players.

They do save alot more shots than in the demo but no good if they parry them which is is made worse by my net problem.

Defence AI

Through balls still a problem due to high defensive lines there is no difference on 1 or 20 and even using the d pad makes little difference Also the lack of defensive awareness is a problems with regards the rebounds and headers

No related to gameplay I think the edit mode is too buggy at the moment logos disappear and the kit creating is slightly annoying

I doubt konami will fix defenders reactions and positioning because simple fact - cpu offense is built on exploiting through ball. If they about to fix defending, they would have totaly rebuild cpu AI as well, otherwise it would score like once in a 5 games against you.

How do you guys say the pace is same after patch..It's impossible not to realize the difference and even Adam said so..Man, Demo was love for me:( I don't have a fucking clue why did they do that.Everybody said pace is spot on..

Anyone help with winning headers or holding the ball up when playing long balls to your strikers - like from a goal kick for example?

I don't think I've won a single ball in this situation.

The pre-set speed is just horrible. -1 is the only way to go.

I felt the game felt slower paced compared to Demo 2.

Edit- Also, Zero Assistance Passing felt more Manual, with the need to add that extra zip to passes with L2. There felt a bigger gulf between Zero and 1-Bar, which automatically adjusted the weight of the pass for you.
