"Hello guys - I had a bit of a restless night worrying over what has been happening with the development of PES 2014. However, I then woke up this morning feeling a lot better because I was hit with an eureka moment of some logic & facts over where we all stand with PES 2014. I thought I would share this with you all here on WENB to try to help everyone else feel better :-) ...
1. FACT - The code that was reviewed by Suffwan & Asim was the WINDSOR code and NOT the most recent code of PES 2014. What that means is that at present the best code or version of PES 2014 has yet to be previewed and therefore it is logical to assume that the LATEST code is several weeks worth of development ahead of the Windsor one.
2. LOGIC- If Konami themselves really did have worries or concerns over PES 2014, then they would delay the proposed September release of the game in order to buy themselves more time to complete development. Such a decision (if it were to happen) is certainly not unheard of within the video games industry.
3. LOGIC- Whatever the latest code may be at present, and assuming that the game's official release is still to go ahead as planned for September 24th approx, that still leaves a decent chunk of time for Konami to work on the game and furthermore, some solid options remaining to turn to. For example, they could hire extra emergency programmers or pay their current team extra money to increase their working hours around the clock in order to make sure that the game will be brought up to speed.
4. HISTORICAL EVIDENCE - My point is that Konami have always released a game that is on THEIR terms and to their own effort and satisfaction, and not pandering to the concerns of outsiders. After all, it is their game, their product and they know they have strategic options regarding how they are going to complete this final phase of PES 2014's development.
5. LOGIC - If Konami continue to stick to their normal schedule of working hours, size of team and planned release date, then that shows a message to me that they are confident (or arrogant) enough in their upcoming product.
6. Realizing this is something that (at least by logic and by fact) makes me feel better and for those of you who are still worried, you just have to accept the way Konami operate and hope for the best. We have no power of negotiation over this matter except the option of refusing to buy the game. Well, regardless of what happens between now and September, I'm still going to buy the game and I can only LOGICALLY assume that at the very least, out of sheer curiosity alone, most of you guys will too.
Chins up lads :-) ... and always look on the bright side of life!"
