From what I understand, demos are a pain in the ass and are very time consuming for the developer. Would rather not see a demo if this is the case and have Konami put those resources into the game and launch it in August when the football season starts.

They already do the demo for shows and previewers. It's not like we are getting a special one built from ground up.

Can't they just release a demo a couple of weeks before release like most other games? I'm seriously tempted to skip demo one this time, the game always seems to get worse from that point onwards. I tried demo one of PES2013 the other week and it was miles better than the retail version. Graphically identical, but better paced and the COM was much more adventurous.

If demo one won't end up being like the final version then what's the point?

Come on bro we all know your bi-polar when it comes to PES

Because I'm the new pes messiah.

It will be 79.6% and mid way through the game you'll ve stopped by a fat bloke with a cup of tea and hard hat telling you to turn around due to building works.

I agree, if it's an early demo I'll just skip it and wait for the final version. If it's a late demo about two weeks before retail and containing final code I'll play it.

I don't see the point in playing an early demo.

The most recent playtest featured the 85% build of the game. 100 INTERNET points to whoever can find the latest impressions on PES14 and the quote that verifies this. Anyway, the demo will probably not be an earlier build than that one.

It would take phenomenal intestinal fortitude for any fan of any PES football game not to download and play any PES 2014 demo, no matter what percent code it is.

Is it just me that thinks Konami, being Konami, will probably sy 'not final artwork' and then in the end that will be the final artwork of the game? would be such a "Konami thing to do" :P
