Demo should hit end of August, same as last year.

Are we openly calling people idiots now? Good.

Demo is announced at the end of this month, and the actual date should be close to the announcement. 2+2=4.

Second week of August is my guess.

Obviously, you are out of sync with reality. The demo date will be announced at the end of THIS month and PES 2013 1st demo was released on 27th of July 2012.
Calling people idiots when you you've been talking nonsense in the last couple of pages is just pure impudence.

Didn't Adam say they didn't want a repeat of last year where the first demo was poor quality?

The demo wasn't poor quality, but people feel demo feedback has never done any good for the game. If you don't plan to take any feedback from it then all is good.

@Tunizizou: Be aware that I did assume it myself on that Tweet that it was going to get relesed before gamescom (trying to squeeze a "yes" out of him :P).

The Show Must Go On, Innuendo, March of the Black Queen just a little cross section of their fantastic output.

Hope they have a decent indie, metal, rock selection. One of the patches included bands like Friendly Fires and Django Django which was excellent.
 
As much as I want to play the game now, I'd rather Konami concentrated their efforts on tweaking things to be right for the game that's printed to disc. If that means a demo mid August, that's fine with me.

My understanding is end of July will have some more news and possibly a demo date announced but it seems that they're playing things by ear this time and waiting until they're confident things are worth showing. Since they're still working on it all the time they can't give us a definite date yet because they don't know it themselves. That's what I gather.
 
Can't they just release a demo a couple of weeks before release like most other games? I'm seriously tempted to skip demo one this time, the game always seems to get worse from that point onwards. I tried demo one of PES2013 the other week and it was miles better than the retail version. Graphically identical, but better paced and the COM was much more adventurous.

If demo one won't end up being like the final version then what's the point?
