I'm very curious to see how the whole "heart" thing turns out. Balanced correctly, it could be brilliant. But it's a very integral thing to how the game plays so I'm also worried it might not be all that great.

I've always liked the form arrows and how they force you to change things up when setting up your team (otherwise you'd just find a perfect starting 11 and stick with that) but this is a new layer on top of that. We'll see how it goes.

That video was great. I'm really looking forward to mastering that barycenter thing, hope it will impact the gameplay and not just be something you'll hardly notice. "Heart" seems to be, as I suspected, form arrows changing in game. Only thing that I'm not excited about are those free-kicks. It just looks like something from a 10 year old game.

would you believe a 20 year old free kick system;)

I think it could be done better if they had better player ratings at the end of games and maybe early touches could determine how their form goes.

Say a 21 years old playing his first CL match would be nervous and might get heavy touches and his form goes down. But maybe a 30 year old would be more consistent, and a bad play won't affect his mentality that much. There should be a stat of consistency or mentality that as a player gets older he matures and is more composed regardless of situation.

Also, factor in form in the past 5 matches. A guy is scoring a lot but suddenly has a purple arrow. It sucks.

In ML it's also frustrating when you are coming up against United but Van Persie is benched because of his arrow. I think it can be done better to force you to change players around, including a better use of fatigue.

By the way, it's obvious that KONAMI is still working on assets. Compare Neuers old face at 3:35 with his new face at 0:35. Also, dubstep.

Good video, except for the form arrows. I hate them.
PC version, globally edit all form ratings and raise them to max. What then happens is players on game day then range from excellent to good form, with very few players ever dropping lower than that. Much more realistic given these are supposed to be pro athletes in top shape.

Yeah they can certainly make it a much better system than it currently is. and introducing it into mid-game scenarios, they will have to.

Free kicks looks like no skill shit :/

I agree that they made it look like they take no skill, but I'm sure that won't be the case. Why would they make a, at least from what we have been shown, seemingly great game only to have it ruined by a free kick system that makes it easy to score?

Maybe it's foolish, but I think the change they have made to the free kicks is a good thing. At this point, any step they make is a good thing because the current free kicks are crap and this can't be any worse.

Free Kick System looks bad. I hope that you still need skill to score with freekicks.

Although I've though the hexagon is back instead of the number as rating. :(

But the rest looks good. If the freekicks aren't to easy it could be an awesome game.

2:31, best part for me
2:39 player ID and Robben skill..
phisic ball..

I am honest with everyone.
Best of all, are the graphics, especially near. (Lahm)
animations also has improved
in general terms, I like, but as has been almost always, there will be something to improve, This is the first versions PES (fox engine), I think that lack enough to be "the game"

I'm in middle, I like, but not quite.
just wait "demo", I hope my damn mouth shut :))

PLEASE KONAMI!!! :CONFUSE::CONFUSE:

Nice details with even having the reflection of the pitch in the players' eyes. It's a small touch, but shows how much detail they're putting into the game.

PES finally looks like it is back.

Although PES 2013 wasn't perfect I thought it was a step in the right direction. But the new engine changes everything.

Cannot wait!

If those animations look robotic then real life football does. When ribery is dribbling that inertia of his arms and body look ridiculously life like.
