PES 2014 Discussion Thread

The Edit mode news is good for console gamers and all, Me being a PC gamer, none of it really applies to me as the modding community will rectify this anyway. What i am curios to know is if Stadium creator not only remains but has been improved majorly. Hopefully with real world Stadium parts to recreate the Emirates and Signul Iduna.

They could make life easier for PC stadium makers, that's for sure. Having to replace an existing stadium or use stadium server is a pain in the arse. Surely it's better to have a folder for mods which means an unlimited amount of stadia (or teams) can be added to the game?

Maybe they plan to sell stadiums as DLC, ever thought about that!

At the right price I'd buy additional stadiums.

League packs etc.

Those edit mode news sound good but if there are no long ankle tapes and short socks then sod off

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think low socks will be in. Think about it, the only two teams we got to see so far are Bayern Munich and Santos. And we all know how Thomas Müller uses the socks. Short, low... I haven't been able to see that in PES 2014.

The only little thing that still gives me a little hope is the fact that from what we've seen from PES 2014 so far, Robben doesn't even use his signature tight (techfit) kit either, so they might be still working on those details. I hope so.

They did put out all La Liga stadia last time around as DLC and free to boot.

Tim Vickery and James Richardson and Sid Lowe please BBC for Brazil 2014. Get rid of Shearer ASAP.

Ahhhhh ... i'm so damn confused.. they mix CGI with real gameplay and the contrast of animation and player movement is HUGE on every frame... but more of actions looks so.. weird and.. not that impressive ...
Graphic is fantastic.

Looks pretty good. Animations looks kind of weird, but in the gameplay footage from e3 it looks nice and smooth so it should be fine. To me this seems as a good enough start of a new kind of PES. Would love to see more shots though to see if there's more variety in spin now.

We have already seen actual gameplay in beta stage and it looks good enough in movement. No reason to judge slowed down edited footage

i dont like the way you can dumb down the trick system , could be a nightmare online if contextual dribbling and skills can be done with one button press

One press for skills already exists? You can even string together several feints by a single button press (I think).

Probably has been mentioned here regarding team play/id.. i hope the stats come into play hence we can see some player reacts in the right time, vice versa.. etc.

It is also interesting to see this rainbow dots when freekick.. just my thought that even if it is there, for 2 players match if one shows this rainbow then it should be easier for the opponent to reposition the GK to counter it. Don't you think.. ? and again players with lesser freekick ability should show some deviation of ball trajectory or even power.. finger crossed.

That video was great. I'm really looking forward to mastering that barycenter thing, hope it will impact the gameplay and not just be something you'll hardly notice. "Heart" seems to be, as I suspected, form arrows changing in game. Only thing that I'm not excited about are those free-kicks. It just looks like something from a 10 year old game.
