Sorry if I'm misunderstanding but are you saying you want the same game as you've currently got but with the patch rolled back to version 1.00?
If so then you can just remove the patch without having to touch anything else.

I am playing the game having deleted the patch and I found that I can still use the WENB 3.1 Option File. I'm playing the PS3 version of the game.
Whoever "invented" arcade idea to choose manualy a player to cross exactlyy at him when you play corner kick needs to be shot.
Corner kick bug totally destroys online gameplay .
You choose Ronaldo ( or other idiot ), make a corner cross at him and its always a goal, fucking Konami.

Sure, on your PS3 menu screen go to 'Game', then go to 'Game Data Utility', scroll through all the patches on your PS3 for all your games and you'll find the PES2013 1.1 patch somewhere there. Just select it and delete it, and voila. Patch removed, nothing else should be affected.
Alternatively, if you're on 360, just select 'System settings', then select 'Memory', highlight 'Hard Drive', then press Y. From here, select 'Clear System Cache' to remove the patch. On 360 it will remove all patches from all games on your console, but the rest can obviously be re-downloaded.

To answer your question, my OF just has kits and emblems changed for all the current leagues in the game, all the made up teams like PES Utd are still there as I didn't want Championship clubs etc to be there as they'd then be included in the ML Div2 league no matter which nation you play in. I don't really want to have Championship teams being promoted into La Liga for example, so I just got the basic file.
Because the OF was an early one released, way before data pack 2, then it doesn't include any transfers, made up players, stat alterations, nothing. I just wanted the kits etc with the rest of the game being as it was out of the box. I then planned to just get the transfer updates via data pack 2, but I downloaded it and think Konami screwed up a lot of the player selections etc, so I just decided to go with the game as it is out of the box and make my own alterations. It doesn't take that long, using a list from various official league websites you can quickly change around a lot of players. I only did the most famous ones and left the majority of the teams as they are, as frankly, barring the most famous teams I haven't heard of half the players anyways!

Does anyone know how to take a quick free kick? I looked it up but it doesn't seem to work. I know it was discussed a while ago, and I assumed the patch would have fixed it if it was a bug, but even post-patch I couldn't get my player to do one.

I've never managed a quick free kick nor have I seen the cpu accomplish one. I think the circumstance which might allow it are incredibly narrow.
Thus I only play offline (for this and other reasons). In my offline ML I refuse to use this childish feature. My corner kicks are simply by the grace of god (and good curve stat of course!).

Agreed. I dont use it online. The ball is sucked to the players head and very hard to defend as it seeks him out even when he makes a run

So I start up my ML for the first time and I begin with autosave enabled. I then plan to turn it off in case I make any early blatant errors when initially learning the back room stuff with running the club etc. I then find that Konami have actively REMOVED any option to turn autosave off.
I googled it and there doesn't seem to be a solution. Some say choose 'no' to autosave right at the beginning, but apparently that doesn't work because the next time you manually go to save the game, It forces you to choose auto save again.
The only solution I can think of is to choose a new save slot before you want to do anything new.

They should fix the pressure. I fucking hate second pressure. Defending online requires no skills. It's all about chasing the player with the ball non-stop with two men, with the exception of when you need to inercept a through ball, that's he only moment that you have to "worry" about the player that will recieve the ball, not the one who is controlling the ball.
Defendng online must be a colective game, where positioning your players on the field must be more rewarding than exclusively sprinting so agressively to the player with the ball under control without any risk.
Despite the lack of content, I am throughly enjoying the off line experience. I'm forcing myself to learn manual controls regarding the passing bars. It is really a great challenge to me, and I can't see myself going back to 1-2 passing bars as it feels like I'm cheating. I forced myself to play through Master league. Blimey the design and interface is a real turn off. But I stuck at it looking past this awful aspect of the game to be welcomed with great game play. It is a real shame Konami put zero effort into everything else as their is no imersion apart from the very good gameplay.
Do they not realise they have good gameplay in pes 2013. Konami frighten me as a company as they don't seem to realise when they are on the fringe of creating something special because pes 2013 has great gameplay and all this game needed was a few bells and whistles to transform it into little belter of a package. Been playing PES & FIFA in about equal amounts since launch. If PES had FIFA's career mode I wouldn't touch FIFA again. If FIFA had PES's gameplay I wouldn't touch PES again.

Just had yet another potentially lovely online game completely ruined by Konami fixing matches to create "excitement".
I never play randoms, only people I know from various leagues/communities, so theoretically every game should be great. Unfortunately even these matches are shit 50% of the time because one side suddenly gets a magical handicap and the attentions of a laughably biased ref... on this occasion we were 20 minutes into a fantastic match when a goal triggered one of the "momentum" scripts or whatever the hell it is, and suddenly it didn't matter where I aimed my passes, they'd change direction and roll perfectly to the nearest opposition player. Seriously, almost every pass, onto his toe so accurately that he didn't even have to take a step in either direction to receive it. Now I'm not saying I'm the best PES player in the world, but one thing I can do is pass the ball. And this wasn't me passing the ball.
This crap was in PES2012 too (I'm far from the only person who noticed it) - why the hell would anyone think it was a good idea? All that happens is you ruin a perfectly good game, so one player is left completely pissed off and the other is deflated even though they won and played great, because they know damn well the game wasn't on the level. The games where this doesn't happen can be fantastic... so what's the problem? Why not leave it like that? Presumably "suggestions gathered over the years"... all those letters Konami got saying "Dear Konami, I love PES but I can't help feeling that 1v1 online is too fair. Why not stop it being a contest, and turn a lot of games into a kind of lucky dip? Surely no one has bought this game to actually play football, so you should turn it into a football-shaped piss-you-off machine instead. No one could possibly feel that they have wasted their time sitting through one of these games, and in my opinion this 'random!' factor will provide that 'just one more game' feeling, rather than making people instantly switch off their PS3 and go to online forums to slag your company off in public instead."
I guess it's designed for the wacky world of "tournament players", thrills and spills and all that toss. But when you're trying to play a serious game of football it just wrecks it totally and turns the game into a joke. It doesn't happen in 1v1 offline, as far as I can tell, so why in God's name would you make it happen online? It's like putting a drawing pin inside the game box so that when you open it your thumb starts bleeding and hurts. Where's the logic in that? Sometimes it really seems like Konami just want to drive all their customers away.

Thanks guys, that info really helps. I didn't think it would allow me to reverse the patch. I think I will use WENB's one.
I'm so confused again this year, I keep swapping between PES and FIFA, I wish PES didn't need so much editing done (not that I'm doing any myself)

Just begun my ML tonight and apart from the auto save fiasco I'm really enjoying it. It's a much better experience than last year's. I never thought I'd do it but I was awarded a pair of boots after one match and I equipped them to my new youth player who is frankly gonna be a world star in the game. My team is shit, he's good, my team will rely on him so I thought screw it, give him the boots. The other more realistic items are fun though, spent ages going through my promoted youth players with potential and decided who would benefit from a 3pt training stat rise thanks to a personal trainer. That, as an RPG fan, is fun so long as there's some sense of rational basis to it, unlike the boots thing.
What I don't like though is that in the first weeks of the mode my personal assistant keeps ramming online down my throat. "Go online to win more items", "unlock more nicknames to take online" etc. Seriously Konami, fuck off with integrating one game mode with another unrelated offline one. if I want to play online,I'll play online. As it goes, I don't, so stop trying to tell me to when I'm playing an offline career. It totally shatters the immersion.

Yeah, I've got to sheepishly admit that I do equip the boots, but I have a policy of only putting them on youth players or young players I scout. Is that youth player you are talking about named Niellander or Aartmen? Both have become solid substitutes for my Newcastle ML. It's a bit disappointing that neither one has a 3 for offense, but they are still quite good. Niellander's Explosive Power and Mentality stats are especially impressive for a youngster. Neither one has much of a shooting accuracy stat, but when I've needed a goal badly I've thrown Aartmen on the left wing and he's toe-poked in a couple.
I suppose this actually belongs on the ML offline thread. Sorry...
Hmm, might give the defaults a go. Currently Newcastle though playing super star manual struggling like hell. But I love a challenge. The boots boost may come in handy after all.
They need to implement stamina system, if you chase players all around the pitch like idiot , then you have to pay consenquenses, but no matter how much you do pressure the opponent it doesnt affect stamina at all, this sucks,

I offen can defeat opponent with quick passing, but this ruins online experience and made me to go to pass support 2 ( I used to play with pass support 0 ), because If you play withou pass assistnece and opponent has 20 pressure then you offen loose the ball, simply because 0 pass assistence makes your passes little inaccurate ( which is great in football terms ) and this of course givesy your pressing opponent big advantage.

Yeah, I think this must be close to the biggest flaw/annoyance in the game. Players stats really matter? Yeah, some of the time, but when the momentum script kicks in, stats matter f*k all. FIFA has exactly the same thing. Horrendous concept.

You should of seen the match I had last night in my CL campaign with Dortmund, it was ludicrous. Played Man City and they were pressuring me like crazy, getting to every loose ball quicker than a flash etc and they went 3-0 up just after half time.
Then I felt the game change, City had a couple of amazing chances one of which was cleared off the line by my AI defenders, suddenly things started going my way. Before I was struggling to play patient football, but now my aimless through balls were finding strikers. By the 89th minute i'd equalised to make it 3-3 against all odds, was I euphoric because i'd made an epic comeback? Not really, because honestly I didn't really feel involved in the whole process
I think Exhibition matches are far more enjoyable than ML or CL for this very reason.

Many years ago I used to live in an area of great instability of electric power supply. When the torrential rain poured down, the power would go off. I remember leading a CL semifinal 2-0 and playing great when the power went off, only to turn it back on later and find I had a 0-4 defeat
Konami are simply out of touch with fans, customers, reality. Who the hell uses this anti-cheating feature anyway??

No, he's a CB called Nouhei. I signed him from my youth team and he's already rated at 81!
I think I now realise why Konami have given the players in ML such bizarre names. I started a ML just to have a look around and get a feel for it, then quit and restarted another one straight after. Rather than in previous games where the ML default players were always the same names and stats, which was perfectly fine to me, they now seem to be doing it whereby the game retains a core of five or six players with the same names and roughly the same stats, and randomly generates the rest. Or so it seems. Second time I started my ML the majority of my default squad were completely different names and totally randomised abilities. Some youth team players that were good in my first look at ML were now crap in my second, proper ML, and vice-versa.
I have no idea why they thought that would be a good idea. It's pointless. All you get a ridiculous names and who cares if the stats are randomised. Nobody cared that in previous games the likes of Shinizu etc were the better players, whereas others were traditionally rubbish. If anything people had an affection for these ML default players who had become mini PES celebrities in their own right. It added personality to ML, and Konami have wiped that right out.
Also, I noticed that Konami have removed the option to choose how much money to invest in your club, from marketing to youth squad. WTF? I now can't decide to improve my youth team facilities to get a better quality of player coming through into the first team? Seriously? Having to weigh up whether to spend precious funds on club development or a new player was one of the main things ML had going for it.

Whoa does turning off the game mid-match award the game a 4-0 win even in offline ML? That's ridiculous. Imagine something like Halo 4 punishing the player by returning him to the start of the game, or removing all his guns if you turn the console off before saving at a checkpoint. It's stupid.

This happens only if you turn the option on. In Germany it is called "Zurücksetzen verhindern". This will count games which you did quit as victory of your opponent. By default this option is off.
