PES 2013 Discussion Thread

One thing that puzzles me though is how the game has been deteriorating visually. I put pes 2010 in last nite and it is just such a nice game visually.

On wide cam pes12/13 almost look like a mob phone game. The sense of 3d space and physicality has gone missing.

Agreed, i was playing PES 2010 last week and the graphics were awesome. Colours just popped. I played it cos i loved the open the body side foot finish in that game. The side foot finishes in pes11-pes13 are lame as
 
The reason they removed the league mode is commercial. Boot advertisers have put the pressure on so that everyone gets to see the ads for their boots when playing Master League. Theyll NEVER admit it though.

Of course, I'm 100% convinced this is the reason, which actually makes Konami worse than EA in my eyes.
 
probably on vacation after the stressfull release time.

Big crowd of people buying fifa in the mall today. Not sure pes13 is gonna do much better of pes 2012 in terms of sales. being visually depressing and almost identical to pes 2012 is probably ain't gonna help. lacking game modes off line and on line features also is pretty bad.

By the way, i really miss anfield road on pes!

Kind of tells the story doesnt it? Konami have really messed up this year. Just when they got the gameplay almost back to greatness they shoot themselves in both feet. The incompetence is mind boggling
 
Seriously, Konami has the worst PR/Marketing department ever.

How many people outside forums ACTUALLY knows about 20 Liga BBVA stadiums? Even in Spain they never mentioned it on any advertising :CONFUSE:

True but demo1 on pc was ok on this aspect.

It's suicidal, you can understand not wanting to mention the negative aspects of the game but why keep it quiet when you add something as good as 20 league stadiums ??
:LOL: this year more than ever I think the gap in terms of sales will be the biggest.
It's worrying that PES is generally getting worse because it doesn't oblige EA to up their game either.
 
I'm sure with a good PR, mentioning the strongest points of the game (Champions League, Libertadores, Liga BBVA, gameplay, real football recreation, tactics),and a great communication with fans, the difference with FIFA wouldn't be so abysmal. But the way Konami is behaving with their customers, along with the japanese mentality of not listening enough to feedback, is hurting them so much.

This random computer generated stuff is true.
I love this version very much but I really can not understand why there is so little goal scored in ML offline mod. I simulated whole season several times and games on every fixture ended with just one goal?! Top team scored 50 goals at best. For example, Juve ended up first with 65 goals (this is kind of normal) but Milan was second with only 43 goals scored! WTF?!
Barsa can’t score more then 70 goals during whole season?!
Or maybe reason for this are those black boots? I don’t know exhibition mod is perfect… Maybe I’m asking too much. I thought I could tweak player attacking, shooting, teamwork stats etc. but it didn’t work AT ALL.
Sorry, I just want to here what you guys think.
I play on top level difficulty, player development normal, and market activity level low.

I noticed the same while playing ML with Deportivo La Coruña. It's hard to see any 2-2 o 3-2 results this year on CPU vs CPU matches, at least on 10-min matches. Maybe with 15-min they'll score more goals. The problem is last year there was the complete opposite, with Barça and Real Madrid scoring 125-140 goals per season. I don't understand Konami :P

PD: The solution would be a different length setting for user and simulated matches, ala NBA 2K.

Petition would be worth it just to see how many people care about league mode enough to spend one minute of their time signing their name. From evidence of past petitions like this, general apathy among gamers means the support isn't there. I know people are going mental on PESgaming and WENB, but not here it seems.

Going mental on WENB? I don't think so, I posted on their site last Friday asking for a bit of backup about the league mode and complaining about Konamis treatment of the fans. . . .not only was I taunted and laughed at by the clique on it, but I had my posts removed and am now banned from posting anything.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that I set match length to be 30 minutes but it’s the same thing.
Strikers don’t play simulated matches I guess?! Balotelli, Dzeko, Ronaldo and Benzema for sure because Real and City can’t score more than 55 goals!
