Just like in pes 2012, offiside trap does not work properly. i press the button and my central defenders stay put most of the time, 100% of the time in free kicks.
I also have some issue with the keepers when the run out of the box it seems i can't control what they do, bit confusing most of the time.
It's in the "Tactical Assistance" (or similar) screen of Game Plan. I use every D-Pad direction available for Offside Trap, then flick through the 4 on-the-fly formations during the match for other changes in tact.
how do you flick through formations? and how do you do auto subs for that matter?

If u let the manager do the formation it will automatically do autosubs. And it will put offside trap on the left dpad by default. otherwise the fifth menu icon let you set automatic sub and some other stuff.
But offside trap does not work at all in free kicks. my players keep standing there.

Flick through formations with Right on the D Pad. It selects between your 4 preset tactics. IF you have different formations assigned, they will come up otherwise you might have the same formation across all 4 but with different tactics.
Auto subs? Don't you have to select "Leave it to manager" from the formation screen and make sure your subs are set to on. You have to go into the One Touch Settings screen.
In the formation screen, down the bottom you've got boxes 1 to 4. The next one on the right I think is the screen you're looking for.

damn i love manual players.. you can tell they just wanna play a good game of footy, always pick similar teams to what you pick (and vice versa) and got quite a few good game messages after
just destoryed some guy 3-0 with a llorente hat trick, he kept going for long through balls which i easily cut out everytime, he was bewing far to direct when my defence was fully set up, which was pointless really. its so important to walk with your players in this game and play it slow, youll get nowhere with an overuse of the sprint button

Yeah, so it seems. I'll join you lot in flooding them motherfuckers with emails and petitions to put League Mode back on it.
I want to really question how removing a simple and straight foward game mode makes the game experience better for users, and that this action wasn't based on user feedback over the years - given the amount of outrage we see now.
I might even find time to give my 2 cents on them freaking magic boots!
I've just received the "we're sorry you didn't enjoy...." bog standard e-mail reply despite me spending a bit of time trying to make them understand how I(we) feel about league mode.
I've also just bought FIFA for reasons not yet known to me 'cause I've had some of the best games of my life on PES13 in the last couple of nights.
Oh, and just to "+1" to all those suggesting 15 minute matches - yep, it definatley straightens the game's flow and CPU possession out.

Could be worth a try, although they delete negative posts on Facebook. Jon Murphy has seemingly gone into hiding which doesn't help either.
Petition would be worth it just to see how many people care about league mode enough to spend one minute of their time signing their name. From evidence of past petitions like this, general apathy among gamers means the support isn't there. I know people are going mental on PESgaming and WENB, but not here it seems.
Could get in touch with a mag. Maybe that Dan Dawkins fella at PSM3?

Man that goal was Saaweeet. I felt like a jerk the moment I noticed you're on manual shooting though as mine wasn't. I didn't know you were going to do so and I didn't even know how to change it later

I have to admit, I quite like the current "WE-PES" ball, the one with the blue stripe round it. Reminds me of the old Stuart Surridge "UFO", a ball which was around when I was at primary school and which I always loved:

You know wat i DID get arefund and i DID get FIFA 13. The game is not perfect but bloody helll a LOT of thought has gone into the game. Lots of game modes, production values through the roof, seamless online experience, skill games and gameplay is very decent but not perfect. The way Konami has treated its customers this year is absolutely disgusting. Playing EPL (not career mode, just a League) is a joy. Updates, stats, injuries, actual updates on other games while youre playing your match, my jaw has dropped a few times while playing it.
And for all the haters out there who will tell me that im a FIFA fanboy i remind you that i have every single pro evo title from the N64 days and was FANATICAL about pro evo in the PS2 days and used to snigger at anyone who played FIFA but enoughs enough. Konami are a joke these days one step forward four steps back.
