Sorry for the noob question:

What happens if I download Daymos option file on Xbox so I have the proper kits for premiership teams, then I play online matches? Do the kits stay or revert to default?

What has the general consensus been with the recent 2009, 2010 & 2011 versions - has there been evidence or opinions to show that the PC and Console versions have been different ?

Or are people just saying this about this years game and demos.

I have only ever played one PES game on PC and that was many years ago on PES3.

I had it on PC upstairs in my house for single player and on PS2 downstairs in living room for with mates.

At that time I also found the PC version to be MUCH harder and sharper AI and just the game having quite a different 'feel' to it compared to the PS2 version.

Perhaps this has always been there with PC and Console versions 'feeling' different ?

Interesting anyway and sounds like something is definitely going on, with the amount of bad feedback from PC users in here.

I've always felt this different feeling you are talking about between ps2 and Pc. Not sure it's the same on next gen between ps3 and pc which is what I'm investigating on :)

Tim, I'm sure I read earlier on here that applying a PES12 patch to PES13 fks the 360 up.

Can someone else comment as I'd be keen to re-apply previous patches too for the kits alone (although I'm on ps3)??

Cool - let us know what you find or 'feel' haha

I have nothing to compare as regards to the recent versions as I have been on Xbox FIFA from 09 - 12 but this year I have returned solely to PES like the good old days.

Any chance of a few extra cameras on the october patch?

I haven't heard spanish intros in friendly game. Is it reserved for the ML?

So should I return my pc veriosn and buy for ps3?

Thing is soon enough all the mods and patches will be available for pc anyway and 1080p gfx ...much better than ps3 and aplaying with london fc etc...
 
Using Wilde's editor for PC, I added 10 points, i.e. 4 up to 14, 6 up to 16 to every team's "compactness". Made every team wider. After 7 matches against different opponents, I'm experiencing more wing play from the CPU, actual crosses and actual diving headers. It's not made the AI build up slower - why would it? But I've seen enough already of the central, killer through ball attacks.

The shooting is back to it's best, the passing is great.

I wish the players would show a bit more awareness generally, the amount of times I've seen a pass roll past a defender with no attempt from them to stick a leg out and intercept it is a current annoyance of mine.

Still having problems with my defensive line too, with MY midfielders seeming intent on getting me out of shape by backing off into it. It's definitely contributing to my susceptibility to through balls.

Did changing either your defensive line or pressure sliders make a difference?

I think the edited kits stay the same, at least it did in PES2011. Be wary though, until Daymos can sort out the initial OF it crashes when you combine it with the day 1 update.

I'm on Xbox 360. Only marginally different to the demos but all changes that I've noticed are for the better. Ball control error is more noticeable etc. It is odd that pc owners seem to be reporting that it plays like 2012 though.

Despite all the bullshit Konami pulled this year, I still could enjoy this game if it wasn't for blatant AI cheating at times and the shooting. Demo 1 shooting was just right.

Agreed, shooting and cheating are the main-problems with the full version. I'm still astonished that Konami managed to make shooting lame again after the awesomeness of demo 1 and demo 2.

I'm having this issue too with all players (good and bad), I'm using various teams and tactics but nothing is waking up my players.

Also the floaty/weak GK throws are just :BRICK:

I do love the way players take a quick look when receiving the ball though.

wtf this for real i need to return my pc version!!

but thing is ps3 version got all fake strips and teasm etc whereas on pc that can be fixed and im sure patch to gameplay out soon!

That is my opinion. There will be option files with updated kits but they take a bit longer to come out. You need to check the ps3 editing forums for those. The only thing is that it is only the kits, names, and transfers that are changed and not a lot else. And it takes ages to copy it from memory stick to ps3. :TUMBLE:

yeh true no new stadiums?

but what about the gameplay are you sure??..pc vs console has never been different in the history of pes as far as im aware.

PS- i bought pc version for 18 quid from shopto.

PES has always had that feeling of a match being completely different to the next one, due to the randomness.

Plus I don't understand what would be the point of making a different gameplay for one single platform.
