Cheers mate. Will get practising on them asap. Just feels as though the standard crossing is a bit gimped regards placement- everything just seem to go central. Could just be my timing is way off.

i played 35 games on line.it is a running and dribbling non sense . i hate it on line

Cross early. If you can get the cross in while the defensive line is backpedalling, you can arc the crosses into that no-man's land between defence and keeper. Also, deep crosses using R2 can properly cause chaos as they're high and hang in the air. I scored such a realistic goal earlier, I hit an early high ball to the edge of the box box from a near central position and my target man had dropped to a deeper position, won the header and flicked it into the path of a midfielder who had burst into the box beyond the defence. Awesome stuff.

Has anyone used the Daymos option file v1 for 360 yet? I think it might be the ideal one for me, all I want is an option file with kits and badges altered from the Pemier League and Portuguese League. Nothing more. No extra teams, no changes to stats in any way, just kits and emblems.

I've read the option file changes the tactics and formations for English teams. Has anyone used this or know if the file keeps the game exactly as it is originally?

I just watched the Braga-Cluj champion's league game and thought I was watching a PES match against the CPU. Braga had 71% possession and 38 shots yet failed to score. Cluj had like 3 attempts and scored 2 of them. Braga needs to notch the difficulty down to Regular.

Don't do it if you have already downloaded the official data pack 1, it borks the game apparently.

lol. I was just having some fun with ya mate :COOL: Although I have played 24 ML games and i agree to some extent with his general sentiment. Jenkey's tool last year meant that PC players could tweak the game to their liking (especially the removal of the AI cheats). Someone who played PES 2012 with Jenkey's patch yesterday and default PES 2013 today probably wouldn't see a huge difference in the AI.

some guys watched a few matches at konami and implemented these kind of scrpits in the game, and we have a few others scenario aswell and its just BORING, i want to play!

Yeah I heard that thanks, I think that if you delete the data pack, add the option file, then re-download it then it should be fine, but don't take my word for it! Also people should be wary and make sure it doesn't screw up their online pass if they've already used it. I haven't yet so it's not an issue.

broadcast camera and cl games are a blast . 10/10. we need more broadcat cameras back in the day there were 3 broadcast . poor day lightening and shitty cameras don t do this games justice . gameplaywise game is finally growing on me. individuality is amazing!

Gonna have to take back much of my earlier post about the game.

There's still far too much on-rails movement. This SuperCancel thing is absolute bullshit. Who on earth thinks that it's a good idea to have me literally wrestle with the AI to take control of the the player I switch to? Year after year after fucking year...

On a similar note, defensive AI is abysmal, running in straight lines and generally acting like they have brain damage. It really is a chore to play sometimes.

Doesn't matter if there's a new engine on the horizon when you have idiots in the development team.

On the plus side, they finally realised that footballers don't have microphones stuffed down their shinpads, so I guess they're capable of learning ...eventually.

You don't seem to attack anyone who lavishes praise on the game, despite them having played it for only one day, and not giving it enough time for their initial honeymoon period to fade, only to be left with the reality of the same old weaknesses in the game resurfacing.

Balls, I downloaded the option file, having previously deleted all data as recommended, loaded up the game and re-installed data pack 1, and any games involving Chelsea completely crash my 360. Turns out it is an issue with the OF and data pack.

Looks like I'll have to wait for a later one which is coming soon, but seeing as it will replace all of the fake Div 2 and PES league teams with Bundesliga and Championship sides, I'm gonna have to then painstakingly go back through the game in edit mode and revert them all totheir default state, which will take hours.

It's admirable making an OF with other leagues, but the problem is when I come to do my ML with Benfica and find that the Div 2 teams are English Championship clubs :/ I don't really want Bristol City then getting promoted with me and playing in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, kinda defeats the object of the option file in the first place!

Cheers mate. Currently trying to familiarise myself with some of the R2 moves, drag backs etc..

I'm still coming to grips with the first touch mechanic. The opening cinematic shows CR7 doing some nice moves. Is that done with just timing the R2 press? I should read the manual but after so many years of PES I'm too proud.

As soon as you find a way to defend the AI properly this game is endless fun. Matches are so intensive and sometimes a little mistake changes everything. One minute you are in full control and suddenly your opponent make one brilliant move and from this point on he start to take over and over. Then you really need to fight your way back in the game, trying to control the ball again. I love how the momentum changes just like in real life.

Playing against the CPU is much, much better then last year. This time you can dominate weak teams and need to fight for every inch against good teams. If you play good you will earn and if you play bad you will pay. Don't give the ball away easily, don't get to exited and use your head - i think this time the game reward you if you play a good ball.

I've haven't played enough matches to form a real opinion on the gameplay but I'm not seeing an improvement in the awareness of my team mates when it comes to loose balls.

Does this improve with time (learning) or is it a cause for concern?

Lol I was having a gander at ML and have seen that all the famous ML default players have been replaced. Noooo! No more Ordaz and co. instead they've been replaced by a bunch of players with the most ridiculous names that virtually have no vowels in. I particularly like the name of the CB called 'Draivqewey'and 'Tzarqamilov'. Who seriously decides this at Konami? Seriously. Could not one person in the the entire company pipe up and say "y'know what would be better? Let's use random surnames from various nations that actually exist and that people can actually pronounce." Konami are utterly batshit crazy.

I'm also majorly disappointed at having no more Palmieri, Shimizu, Schwarz etc in the youth team. They've become these bizarre PES celebrities that I look forward to using from game to game,you get really attached to your default players over each ML, so to see all the players have been replaced with a bunch of guys like 'Iorgenxqxqxqgfddffec' is ridiculous.

i see one and its huge as the universe, dumb game scripting decides the outcome of the game not the quality of my playing style and not the quality of my friends playing style, its still a real blow

the non-human component should be that decides outcome of the game:
- physics
- wheather
- form
- abilities

Seriously how can the cpu control outcome of a game? U haev no power? formational cahnges,tactics, more effort etc...

I know fifa goes mad 40-45m and 85-90mins but i prepare for it and actually play better even scored many a goal in this time period myself

well we played euro competition with my friends during the summer with jenkey's patch, turning of the ai scripting and...we took a break, turn off the game, then turn on again later and started it with the wrong/original exe...and IT WAS HORRIBLE! try it for yourself, u will see that not sure that player wins the game who plays better but wich is choosen as the winner in the script

im not against scripting completly , this is how konami can sell its game for childs and girls aswell who never played it yet even though can have succes right from the start ;) it means more money, good feature, just wish it can be turned off or there would be 2 type of pro evo like back then...one for beginners, one for experts
