what i want to see in pes is the AI team play like granada played against barca today they know that they need to defend because they play against barca but in pes you don't see team come to the game in this mentality.
Actually I thought that...at first. But I was interested in this this year and I've been checking the away teams arrows, and it seems more balanced this year. For example I played a game against someone and they had like 2 blues and 2 purples. Normally it's all red and yellow.
I'll check every team from now on just to see.
If you're talking about offline ML, isn't that to do with doing some conditioning training or whatever it was called in 2012?
Is it to do with coaching? I previous years there have been coaches you can hire to help improve player form arrows. Plus, signing new, better players (though you may not be using player defaults) helps too.
On another note, I'm loving the R2 dribbling as well as one of the moves I never knew existed until I did the training exercises. It's a kind of sidestep move, and is in the first guy in the video below. Really love that. I tried it with a much lesser player and while he technically performed the move, his touch was so heavy and lumbering that his second part of the dribble took it away from him and into a crowd of other players. So, basically, as in real life, everyone can 'do' this move but only top players can do it effectively.
Similarly, with top players, R2 is a joy. In the vid, Gorcuff dances around on the ball and makes space for a lay-off to a team mate. So much fun.

Only in away games? Odd.
Btw i didn't play PES 2012.
Ah, no. Away games were like that too in 2012, but not ALL blue and purple though, as there were some green. But yea I guess that's their way of giving home teams the edge.
On a side note guys, is anyone else loving the music this year lol, so fking catchy.........'I'm on top of the world aye'.....
That is the double touch move I was talking about. It is not on R2 but performed by flicking RS to players left or right then flicking LS in direction player is facing/moving.
Its more so in my experience, and the reason is that when all is not equal, ala 1-bar and alike, then the better passers shine due to their stat-based assistance.
Zero Assistance isn't full manual by definition. If it was, I wouldn't use it.

I must say I do enjoy Master League this year, no nagging, no players whining about anything. Just you and games ahead of you.
The only thing I dislike are black boots and AI randomly putting them on players.
Sounds good. You started with defaults if so what are like they like? Gonna start one later
Started with club lineups to see how it goes .
Real Madrid is a joyous bunch to play as haha .
If you are having difficulty beating a man or just finding space I recommend editing link feints so as you have only one move assigned to each L1 + direction prompt.
I have assigned quick turn left when I press L1 + up when player is facing right, and quick turn right assigned to L1 + down when again facing right. This means I have very basic but effective quick turning moves at my disposal without having to worry too much about getting stick prompts correct beyond holding L1 and flicking the stick. I have yet to settle on what I will assign to left and right.
EDIT: I should add that it is also recommended to practice, practice, practice and then practice again the double touch move. I was getting sick and tired of the com skinning me all the time so took to replaying back what it was it was doing and majority of the time it was the double touch move. In the code I played in june this was much easier to perform as all you had to do was flick the right stick to the players left or right while holding the directional stick in the direction you were dribbling. Before that code supposedly Iniesta did it as part of his Player ID when using deft touch dribbling. Now it is a bit trickier to perform but seeing as the COm uses it frequently why not give it some payback!
Anyone know what "FORM Upgrade +1" item upgrade in ML exactly is/does?
I equipped it, but nothing happened as far as i could 'see' :/
The Form stat determines the colour and frequency of the player's form arrow. i.e. Players with high forms have red/orange arrows more often than players with low form and vice versa.
